I love Scottsdale dental, the staff and the dentist are so friendly and take the time to really explain things to you and answer all your questions. I only started coming here temporarily during my undergrad but honestly their service is so great I made the switch for them to be my primary dentist. So if you are looking for a new dentist centre I highly recommend this place!

Since Dr. Ahmad took over the Scottsdale Dental the continuing dental care and service has been amazing. Just recently having gone a bridge replacement, once again was an easy transition due to the staff and Dr. Ahmad skill. Thank you again

I have been coming to this clinic for over a year now and they are amazing! Everyone is super nice and friendly, cleanings are very gentle (I’m very sensitive). The dentist isn’t intimidating either. They give me reminder calls regularly which I appreciate so much since I’m a busy student. They make sure my benefits go through, again, super important bc I’m a broke student. The clinic is always clean too:)

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, good location, all services except general anesthetic. I finally found a dentist that makes me comfortable and confident in the services provided.

My experience yesterday was the same as it always which is very good. Everyone there is welcoming and friendly. The hygienist was very competent and very efficient.

I am very new to the City. Happened to visit this clinic for sleep apnea information.and then. I cracked a tooth. I needed help asap. I left a message over the weekend and Dr. Ahmad's team responded first thing Monday morning. By Tuesday afternoon, a molar was extracted and I was on the road to recovery and no pain. I can not thank this team enough for taking care of me with such a professional approach and a whole bunch of empathy. I will be going back for preventative care as has been explained to me by Nancy, another member of the team. I know I am in great hands. You will be too.

I love this place.

I woke up with a painful, swollen, bleeding gum and because I was travelling within days, I wouldn’t be able to get in at my regular dentist. I was able to get an appointment at Scottsdale incredibly quickly, the receptionist is absolutely lovely, and I had an amazingly comprehensive analysis of the area to insure nothing else was going on. I was able to be sent off within about an hour and already started to feel better afterwards. Luckily for me it wasn’t anything too serious but I am still so thankful they were able to accept me so last minute or my trip could’ve been an absolute disaster.

The building itself is so cute on the inside. It feels very welcoming and calming. The care I received was provided by incredibly kind, sociable, and experienced hygienists and a very kind, understanding and also experienced doctor, Dr. Ahmad.

I would 100% return and am considering switching to become a regular patient of this office and I’ve encouraged my whole family to do the same!

Heather has been my hygienist for as long as I've been a patient at this dental office.over 15 yrs. I only book with her as she knows my sensitivities and easily accommodates for them. The entire staff are great and can easily address any issues that may arise.

I missed a couple of appointments and so my teeth were a mess but Heather is "The Best" and she worked very hard to get me back on track. Thank you Heather

Had to go in for emergency check up and this is a dentist I have never been to. All the staff I encountered were amazing and made you feel very comfortable. All around great experience considering the circumstances. Will continue to go here.

I've been a patient here for many, many years. I've been seeing Heather as my dental hygienist for most of that time. She is friendly, gentle, and always on time. Dr Ahmad is very patient and clearly answers any questions I might have. The front desk staff are delightful and efficient. Luckily I've never had to have any major dental work but if I do I'll be happy to have it here.

Great staff! Very little waiting time. Dr. Ahmad is very friendly and is very competent, Just exactly what one would appreciate having as a dentist!

I've only been there once for an exam and cleaning but the staff was very friendly. The hygienist that did my cleaning was very thorough and I didn't feel like they were trying to sell me on anything that wasn't necessary. Dr. Ahmad was kind and really listened to my concerns with bruxism. In addition to a mouth guard, he made helpful recommendations for dealing with the pain. So far so good and I would recommend, especially for a cleaning. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that they are a little excessive in their reminders through email and text. It would be nice if it was one or the other and you could choose the type of reminders you'd like to receive (i.e. A week before, a day before, an hour before, etc.

We have been patients at Scottsdale Dental for many years. We always feel warmly welcomed and appreciated as clients. We have always received honest and excellent care and everyone is very friendly and attentive.

Scottsdale Dental first helped me with a jaw infection and made sure I had a swift and safe recovery, and that it wouldn’t happen again. From there, Scottsdale Dental became a reliable place I could go to as a new student living in Guelph. It’s a clean, kind, and well-organized dentist that makes sure I get the best care possible. They’ve been understanding when I had unexpected schedule changes and made sure I got the care I needed. Definitely a dentist I would recommend, especially to the students in the area!

Friendly and efficient with great teamwork! I went in five minutes early and before I even sat down Dr. Ahmad welcomed me and took my X-rays himself. They take notes on preferences - for example they remember that I like my polishing paste unflavoured. They also have a great ventilation system. Even pre-Covid I liked that it didn't smell like a dental clinic in there but now they have turned it up to 11.

Great spot to get your teeth checked over. I've been going here since I moved to Guelph and the staff are very very nice and professional.

The staff are lovely and made my daughter (5yo) feel comfortable. She is excited for her next appointment. Which, is not how I remember the dentist as a child lol.

Great place to get your service and teeth done. The dentist and assistants are great and really know how to do their thing in here. Clouds were a great addition to the ceiling as I get my teeth yanked out lol but overall best dentistry I been too

My recent visit to Scottsdale Dental Centre was excellent! The receptionists are always welcoming and friendly, the hygienists do a spectacular job and are very informative, and Dr. Ahmad is an excellent dentist with great knowledge and very good with people. This is the reason why my family and I continue with our dental visits at Scottsdale Dental Centre despite moving to Cambridge many years ago.

Wow you are all amazing! Cheerful warm and sincere reception from your front line staff. This was an emergency appointment and I was in the office the next day and the day after had the temporary crown put in.

Don't waste your time if you have Public health insurance, they wont help you.
How can you call yourself an emergency dental office if you don't actually help people in need? So confused.

The dentist here is ripping patients off. Charging more than what you should only be charged and performing jobs that are for temporary fix only so you can come back & they can charge $$$ again. The dentist is apparently very very cheap as well, cheap with the clinic, with the staff & the materials. Go somewhere else, this dentist is fake & only putting a show whn in reality he doesn’t care.

Very positive (not the easiest of proceedures - a root canal plus several fillings). The entire staff were very professional in their duties and very supportive and concerned for my well being throughout. The great thing was there was little in the way of post appointment discomfort which I was very grateful for considering my personal commitments in the days following the proceedure. After an arduous previous session involving an extraction with a very stubborn tooth with curved roots my most recent session was blessedly short and sweet. Both sessions were handled with care and consummate professionalism by the entire staff.

Everyone was very accommodating with regards to my scheduling limitations when I needed to see a dentist on very short notice. I am very grateful.

A well set up facility. Extra precaution has been set up for health & safety. All staff have a good background for any questions you have about your teeth. Staff are cheery. Only drawback, like all dental centres is the cost. Ohip needs to cover at least 1/2 of the cost so everyone can have heathy teeth. Comparatively they do an excellent caring of your teeth.

Great communication and processes for COVID-19 sanitation and PPE, as well as great work cordoning off hygienist and dental stations. The hygienist (Sarena) has good advice, a friendly disposition and does an excellent job cleaning.

Scottsdale Dental is always a great experience. A very welcoming environment makes for a positive experience. I have been a patient here for 6 years. Their advice is always on point with improving my dental hygiene habits. The office staff are welcoming and the online reminds of an upcoming appointment is great! Highly recommend this dentist office if you are looking in the Guelph area.

Took my son and daughter here, as I needed a family dentist for them when we moved here in Guelph. The ladies at the front desk were absolutely wonderful and made my kids feel comfortable as well as the hygienist. It is my new family dentist. As well as my kids love them as well as the doctor ‍️

Since the day I was born I’ve been coming to this dentist for 22 years. NEVER CHANGED my dentist at all. No complaints, the most loyal client service! I will for sure bring my own kids and my family to this dentist in the next few years coming!

Had an interesting visit yesterday at one point I had three dental professionals in the cubicle sharing voices and yours truly said "if you add three more then we'll have a choir". First time l had my blood pressure taken in a dental office and it came in on the high side of my own recordings, and royal we said " white coat effect and if you measure it again it will go even higher and guess what, it did! " Hilarious who needs laughing gas.

And, yes it's true, if you are home interned for any reason, you develop new obsessions to detail and a need to look after all around you intensely. Such was my visit to Scottsdale Dental Office yesterday.

Have been a patient since 1984. Just had a cleaning and a filling done, and the staff put me right at ease. Heather (hygenist) and Saffa (dentist) are awesome!

Dr. Ahmad is very efficient and satisfactorily explains each procedure. I was finished before I knew it! Everyone there is very friendly and makes going to the dentist less stressful.

They took their time to diagnose my problem! I came in as an emergency dental problem, left as a client. Highly recommended!

I was not impressed that my 5 year old was not referred to a specialist until after he couldn’t handle getting a cavity filled. Not only was it a bad experience for him, but we had to pay for it and now we have to finish getting the tooth filled at a later date by a specialist. This will now be more money and time spent.

The referral to the specialist should have occurred to begin with. I know the dentist and assistant did the best they could, but if they’re not comfortable working on younger kids then that should have been known before the appointment.

The constant emailing, phone call and text message reminders about appointments are a little much as well.

Awesome dental practise, very pleased with the service. The staff are always pleasant make you feel welcome.

Absolutely 10/5 stars. I had a tooth extracted today and I had the best imaginable, painless dental experience. You'd think I was just laying down for 20 minutes. Incredible courtesy and commitment to the patient, amazing at explaining everything about the procedure, wonderful to answer my millions of questions and just an overall lovely experience. I'd like to add that every single staff member there is SO kind and knowledgeable. I'm very lucky to have found this dental office.

My experience at Scottsdale Dental was very positive. I've had some pretty bad experiences with dentists in the past, so I've put off a dental check-up for far too long. I bit the bullet and booked an appointment, as they offer sedation, if requested.
The receptionist, hygienist, and doctor were all very kind and sensitive to my anxieties. Super gentle, and very supportive.
The office was very clean and all staff members followed Covid protocols very professionally and responsibly.
I've tried about 4 dentists in town since I've lived in Guelph, and this was the most positive experience by far. Highly recommended!

Because our young adult son is at high risk from COVID, I was nervous to bring him in. However, the precautions taken were great, and we felt really safe. His hygienist was also very good as usual, and managed, even with limited space due to temporary extra walls, to treat him in his wheelchair.

I have been a patient since 2014, had my wisdom teeth removed as well as my regular cleanings since then. The front desk staff is friendly and always accommodating when scheduling or assisting with insurance questions. Dr. Ahmad and the hygienists are understanding, gentle and happy to explain any concerns or questions away. Special thanks to Wynn who has become my regular hygienist, always look forward to a friendly smile and chat.

Dec 2020 - adding to my review. Just had a crown finished. One of the things I love about Scottsdale Dental is their attention to MY time! Appointment was for 4: 30, which is usually never a good thing at the doctor or dentist. It was scheduled for 20 minutes. I was in the chair at 4: 32 and in the car at 4: 50. Awesome. Dr. Ahmad is very gentle and except for the cold air - we got along just fine! Such a great dental office. Thanks.

We've been going to Scottsdale Dental for over 25 years! The Dentist is not my favourite place to be, however the professional care and service I receive here, plus the laughs with Heather all make it the best experience possible. Recently switched to Scottsdale Dental and had such a great experience at my first visit. Unlike my past experiences getting a cleaning, the dental hygienist did not dig into my gums. Really nice staff.
