Scran & Dram Scottish Public House

My wife and I went for late dinner. We were in town for ball tournament. Waitress was exceptional, the way you wish all waitresses were. Upbeat, courteous, helpful and quick. All without hovering! The food was really good. We both decided to go with Scottish fare. I had steak and mushroom pie and my wife the scran salad and sausage roll. Neither of us had room for dessert, generous portions. We had pickle spears as an app. Everything came out to hot and cooked perfect. My wife must have liked the salad because she told at least 3 other people about it since. We would definitely go back when in New Hamburg.

First time visiting this place. Were looking for a nice/different place to have lunch after a busy morning of work. The food, the service and the atmosphere provided a very pleasant experience. Will go again.

The staff is friendly and fun and makes the venue worth coming back to. Food is decent and decently priced. Venue is clean, though carpeted. Women reported the bathroom floor was sticky.

Went with friends, great food, great service with a "wee" bit of Scottish charm.

We love the Scran & Dram! Exceptional friendly service, delicious food. We drive in from Waterloo regularly for a date night. Never had a bad experience. Highly recommend.

Amazing nachos - can’t get them out of my head! We also had fish and chips and the summer special brisket sandwich. All incredible food with spectacular service.

I took my mom to Scran & Dram for a belated Mother’s Day lunch today and we had a great time. I had been before during Covid restrictions so it was my first time in this restaurant/pub that was bigger than I imagined.

Our server was friendly and we loved the food - Steak & Mushroom Pie and Toad-in-a-Hole. Both were excellent and the servings were large. The beef in my dish was extremely tender, and the pastry, gravy and fries were all wonderful.

We were too stuffed to order any sticky toffee pudding so we will definitely make the trek from north Waterloo to Scran & Dram again.

Great food, we did have to wait a while before getting served but after our waitress realized we were there it went pretty quick

Fun place, great atmosphere! We went for their music bingo night and it was a lot of fun.

We had their burger and fries special (Thursdays) and it was delicious! Their fries are fresh cut and are amazing!

We went here for drinks after a dinner at nearby Puddicomb house. Great atmosphere and my husband was happy to see Keith's Red on tap

Food was delicious. Portions are huge. And our server Morgan was wonderful. Explained the menu, and upcoming events at the pub. It was our first visit, but it won't be our last.

Great service! Had a brunt wrap once but they took it off the bill, i do enjoy most of the food! I love music bingo nights!

Hidden gem in New Hamburg with an authentic Scottish atmosphere and delicious food and friendly service. We were visiting the town and decided to stop by for a meal and a drink.

Our waitress was extremely friendly and patient as I took some time to decide on what to have with their extensive menu. She was happy to accommodate our allergies and notified the kitchen right away.

I was very glad to find another place that proudly serves scotch eggs and makes a gourmet dish out of it. The eggs were served with picked goods and a delicious creamy dip that worked perfectly with it.

The steak and mushroom pie was worth every penny as it was one of the best meat pies I've ever had. It was filled with chunks of pull-apart braised beef and mushrooms throughout. The gravy served with the dish was very buttery which suited the peas very well. My only regret is not having the room to have mashed tatties on the side with this dish. I think it's a must!

We will definitely return here if we are ever nearby!
