I've called about 15 times and it sends me to a waiting line, but just hangs up after 5 minutes. Submitted a running vehicle 4 times and no reply. Not sure if this a common occurrence, but my experience hasn't been great.

I have used Scrap My Car twice now. Each time, they offered me top dollar (compared to other scrappers) for my vehicles. From the beginning, they were very professional. The tow truck drivers showed up on time and were very efficient. It's a great way of disposing of a vehicle.

Had a tire blow out on a busy stretch of the 417 and had to pull onto a shoulder that did not have enough space for me to safely swap to the spare myself. CAA dispatched Pat from SMC who was a big help. He arrived promptly and moved the car to a safe location before swapping the tire and sending us on our way. He was courteous and helped reassure my mother in law, who had been driving at the time and was a little shaken by the tire failure. Grateful for the help, Pat!

Friendly service through and through. I should have got her name, but the woman I spoke to on the phone was super helpful and friendly. I didn’t get any money for my car as I removed the drivetrain, however they had no problem with the pick-up and didn’t have to put down my beer. Would recommend.

Getting a quote was easy they were fair with their quote and easy to deal with. I dropped off my car they were a little difficult to locate on Bank Street. Other than that a very good experience.

I have never used this service but after seeing them on the highway with a car on the flatbed with 1 foot of snow on it I was not impressed. Literally takes 2 minutes to clear it off and you could save someone's life or windshield. Message to the owner you need to have a chat with your drivers about this.

I emailed them on a Friday evening, they replied the very next morning. I phoned them to confirm a pick and they were at my place by 11am. Tow truck operator was very professional. Recommend them should you need to remove your old vehicle.

What a great experience. I sent an email and received a reply within minutes. There were no long lengthy questions. Jessica provided me with a great quote (shopped around and everyone came in lower) and the car was picked up the same day. Kevin, who came to pick up the car was great. Had a Scrap My Car bid in my inbox before noon Friday (it's Saturday now and the other two have yet to reply). The bid was reasonable (and arguably more than I expected). A phone call established pick-up place and time (3pm). I was professionally contacted to confirm in advance as the agreed-to time approached.
