The Scugog Animal Hospital's staff is second to none. The premises are clean and comfortable. Your pet's condition is explained clearly and options are always given.

They always go above and beyond. Our cat had a little run in with a dog a while back and they took her right in and checked her out. They also did a follow up call to see how our baby was doing. Wonderful clinic!

Caring support, kind and compassionate listening and excellent highly trained professional staff. My full trust and respect in taking care of our furry family members.

Had an emergency situation my youngest cat and the staff were amazing. Dr Sherwin agreed to do the emergency surgery and he is now on the mend. The staff followed up the next day to check on Riley, that is amazing! Thank you to all of you for the wonderful care of my sweet little Riley

The petdesk integration makes appointments, prescriptions and other interactions a breeze.

Went to see them. First impression bad. One receptionist eating fish and chips at desk.

After a 5 minute explanation of whats wrong with our cat they said they were not taking any more patients. They could have asked if we were existing or new when we came in and saved time. Told us they were not taking new patients.

Then the girl told us they were referring people to Uxbridge. Ok. Thanks.where are they? There are 2 they say. Ok which one are you referring people to? She did not know.

So while the Vet might be good her reception needs to be properly trained. They are not today.

Eat in the back…. Hand people a phone number of others you refer to and only refer to people you trust. Treat people as you would like to be treated.

We will not return. If the vet cant train their staff why would we go there.

BEST ANIMAL HOSPITAL EVER! Thanks to the dedicated veterinary team, my cat went into remission from diabetes. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Margaret and Dr. Sherwin for their dedication, top quality care, and compassion. I’m sending a shout out to the ladies at the front desk for their kindness and help they’ve given me and my fur babies over the years. Very highly recommended!

Abby and Sandy were so genuinely kind, knowledgeable and helpful when we brought Indie in to get weighed for her tick medication, and to book her annual checkup and vaccines. It’s so refreshing to see and talk to people who sincerely care about you and your fur baby. Kudos to you ladies for creating such a welcoming experience when coming into the clinic.

I have been taking my boy there for a long time. He sees Dr Carolyn Benson. She has been amazing. The facility is clean and the staff are always wonderful.

Everyone here is so nice and very accommodating. I have brought my pets in here as an emergency and last minute and they always make time for us. They are great at explaining everything and educating me on different things to look out for etc. 5 starts Def recommend!

The entire staff was amazing including of course Dr. Sherwin! Always efficient, friendly & answers all questions & concerns. Can’t say enough good things about them all there! Love them & Alex is doing wonderful!

Very compassionate and caring when we had to say goodbye recently to our family cat, Scooty. More recently Dr. Sherwin and her team treated our dear Pekoe who had glaucoma. Pekoe's right eye was removed on Feb. 14th, 2023. He is recovering quite nicely 6 days later with plenty of TLC here at Pegasus Animal Sanctuary and follow-up calls from Dr. Sherwin's team.

If I could give 10 stars I would. We have been with this hospital for 2 years and there has been nothing but positive experiences. It is obvious that all staff are animal lovers and treat our dog with such care. We have been able to bring our dog in last minute and the vet always takers her time making sure everything is perfect with our puppy. I would highly recommend.

Can’t say enough good things about this Animal hospital. Always get excellent service! Very friendly and great care given to our toy chihuahua! We recommend this place for your pet!

The service was wonderful and thorough. Dr.was very good with our pup. Called this morning with concern for our bulldogs breathing difficulty and told to come right down. Thank you to all the staff.

Professional and friendly. The place is beautiful and clean. All of the staff is amazing and really care for your pet. All of the vets are attentive, approachable, informative and explain everything so well. They truly are there to help your pets.
