Absolutely amazing experience
As a regular take out customer I can’t express how happy I am with my recent visit to this place!

Just received a huge order from Sea-Hi. Perfect. It came at exactly the requested time. The gentleman that delivered the food was beyond polite. Sameeta was perfect with our order, and of course Larry always makes sure his customers are happy. See you next time.

Was so disappointed when they originally closed. As I could Not get the best food there anymore. Then a move to Thornhill and I was back in heaven. The owner and staff are the nicest people you will ever meet. The food was hot, crispy and drool worthy that I refuse to share. The plum sauce is out of this world. Don’t forget to enjoy the dry noodles which including the plum Sauce is all Made in house. A real hidden gem of a restaurant.

This was my first time trying Sea-Hi Famous Chinese Food and I would definitely recommend it. It was really fresh and the portion sizes were also very generous.

Food was authentic and delicious! Larry was super welcoming and full of energy. My favorite was definitely their fried rice and Singaporean noodles! Would love to come back and explore the menu!

This is take out only so no atmosphere. You phone in an order then pickup so basic service. As for food. No it is not Chinese food at its finest … not even close. Go to Asian Legend if you’re in the north end otherwise Chinatown or Markham have way better restaurants.
New majority owner is not Chinese. So this new place is about cashing in on old reputation.
I went in several times and ordered a combo which is sort of difficult to get these days. Lemon chicken combo. Stale chicken but not greasy and egg roll and rice. All mediocre quality. Basically food court quality at best. But the kicker was the price which on the takeout menu was just over $10 or so but when he rang it up it was 30-40% higher. I made a stink and he honored the menu price but I never went back.
It’s not good or cheap and new or old management doesn’t change a thing.
It’s in a strip mall so expect mediocrity but in truth Asian Legend is also in a mall and for the same money you’re getting pretty damn good Chinese food … even Canadian Chinese food! Don’t waste your time or money!

I've ordered the ss chicken ball combo and chicken sticks. This place's chicken balls got more meat than breading. Chicken sticks are fresh and tasty. Excellent food and service!

Great fast friendly service with cozy clean atmosphere with seating outside. Delicious food with good serving sizes at a good price. Would defiantly order from SeaHi again.

I ordered takeout recently and have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the big portion and tasty food. The ribs were big and nicely seasoned, noodles loaded with meat and vegetables, and the bacon wrapped chicken sticks were divine. Prices are still affordable and provide great value.

Food is excellent, everything is freshly made and large portions. The plum sauce is fantastic and the staff are very friendly.

We stumbled on this place by accident and WOW this place is awesome! The owner is such a nice man, the employees are kind, and the food is fantastic! I will definitely be coming back.

We ate at sea hi bathurst and steeles for lunch for the first time, we got served our orders with excellent service, excellent food.ive been to alotta asian restaurants and had chicken balls ordered. This is the first restaurant ive been where their chicken balls do not have more filling/ bread than the chicken meat. The breaded shrimp 10/10 tastes like great japanese tempura for sure. Good stuff! I don't really have anything else to say but 5 stars all the way.

I missed Sea-Hi so much after they closed their original location but so glad they are back. The food is as great as I remember it and the staff are amazing! Will never go to any other Chinese restaurant again. My new favourite dish is beef Ho fun and of course you can’t have a meal without the delicious dry noodles.

I grew up eating Sea hi since the early 80s was so happy to see they reopened in the general same area also nice to see the same chefs still working there and had the privilege to meet a new addition Larry such a super nice guy we chatted it up while i was waiting for my order. All the dishes are so yummy perfectly cooked my favorite are the chicken chow mein and beef ho fan and the bacon wrapped chicken sticks they are to die for

Love this place! The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly! Sea Hi has always been a family tradition, and now that they’re back and so close to where we live in Thornhill, it’s better than ever!

"Have it with the plum sauce" is what the owner, Larry suggested me when I was ordering the breaded shrimp; and that turned out to be a master stroke!

I'm a picky eater and I have been guilty of returning dishes when the shrimp has a stink. However, I was pleasantly surprised to notice that the shrimp was well cleaned as it didn't have the typical shrimp smell. It is rare to find such fresh shrimp in Toronto these days.

We tried the egg rolls with the spicy sauce and they did not disappoint. Pro tip: The Plum sauce goes well with this too.

But what we enjoyed the most was their Chicken Chop suey. There were no noodles in it. Instead it had a healthy alternative-beansprouts!

The dry noodles on the side complemented the beansprouts very well. The meat serving was generous too.

While we didn't have too much company dining in, I noticed that the restaurant was more popular for deliveries and take outs. It is indeed a cozy place for a scrumptious Chinese meal and I hope to visit again sometime soon.

Just for the record, I know Larry from the days before he started (or should I say 'reinvigorated') Sea high.   The day I went there, I learned that the delivery driver had taken a leave of absence at the last minute and Larry had decided to fill in for him. That is the Larry that I know of!

He has the grit and determination of a hockey goal keeper and he is taking Sea High to greater heights.
