First time visited. Many varieties of pastries and bakeries displayed on the counter and many breads too to choose from. Ordered chicken balls - plain taste and steak sandwich - would be good if some sauce was available breqd was so soft and crunchy
Love this place. Everything is fresh, its open 24 hours. The staff is amazing, the place is super clean. Everything is delicious. You cant go wrong going here for a coffee, sweets, sandwiches or simply to buy delicious bread
This was the first time I came here. I purchased a cake it was very very sweet. I think next time I will come in & order a cake to be specially made. Great atmosphere a café inside the bakery to enjoy a treat & a hot cup of coffee or tea.
Breads were good and fresh. Pastries were tasty. Friendly and good service. Just the bleach smell is kind of strong when entering the store. Overall a nice bakery. Will be back.
At first I was a little grumpy. I mean, 25 minutes for a tosta mista is kinda crazy. But you know what, I came in the middle of their morning rush, it was $5.10, and it was still pretty damn good. Their decaf is solid too.
Was at the store waiting to be served, The girl says I’ll be right with u. Another girl comes Does not even notice me and goes to another customer that came right after me leaving me hanging I just walked off at the store if they don’t care about the costumers I don’t need to buy there.
Typical Portuguese- style bakery with a lot of choice.cons: Items do not have names, so it is difficult to order or tell people what you ate.standing only.
Delicious tarts! Crispy & flakey on the outside, soft & custardy on the inside. Yum! Interesting flavours too! Nothing was labeled but the tarts were only $1.20, and the staff was helpful explaining the flavours.
We ordered a birthday cake with a design from a photo, and they were able to reproduce that photo in icing. I think I can give the cake itself 4 stars, but it was on time for the party, and the strawberries and the filling were appreciated by our guests (including our dog, who stole a piece for herself:). We also bought some "natas" custard tarts, and they were among the best I've had in the city!
First time visiting this Seara location. I will not come back. Generally, Seara's are decent Portuguese bakeries but I found that the cashier at this location to be incredibly rude. I visited on labour day. I was given 70 cents change, all in $5 cents. Obviously, that's a lot of change to carry. I would have preferred quarters instead so I asked the cashier if she had any. She said no, then rolled her eyes and was not at all apologetic about it. If she really didn't have better change to give me, she could've have at least apologize. I did not appreciate the eye-rolling. Why give a customer all 5 cents? Did she not have any 10 cents as well? Or is it because it is end if night and they didn't want to cash out with all that change? Either way, I am not impressed.
My visit here was extremely enjoyable. The drinks are cheap and refreshing, the desserts are delicious, the staff is welcoming. The place also has a patio. Wonderful Place!
This place is a nice Bakery to go to if you want to either relax, or wind up on espresso! I still don't understand why people just stand in front of the line and drink their espresso. I like the way that there are people there that speak and translate English.
Chef Joao, latté maker Christina & young lady who acknowledged me instantly when I approached their counter to order. I eat here with my geriatric parents (ages 83 & 89) and always have a good experience. Sometimes when you give great Customer Service, you get rewarded! See you again soon and Bonne Heureuse Année from your French Canadian customer.
