Sears Animal Hospital & Pet Rehabilitation

During the covid period where pets were dropped off and picked up at the door, my cat was traumatized and had become very difficult for them to deal with. My visits had resulted in them using methods that not only I disagreed with, but had not been consulted about. I could not put my pet through that any longer, but wasn't sure if all offices would deal with him the same way. I took a chance and took him to Sears for a consult. Dr. Bonnie was very compassionate and listened to my concerns. I made a follow-up appointment to get his vaccines and a nail clipping. Through treats, teamwork, soft-spoken words & gentle patience, my once fear-stricken pet flew through his visit like nothing happened: no stress, no trauma. I will recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a caring, knowledgeable place to take your fur-family members to.

I am deeply dissatisfied with the service at this vet clinic. We were pressured into an $850 x-ray for our dog, only to be left in the dark for two weeks without any follow-up or results. This lack of communication and transparency has left us feeling cheated and frustrated. It’s disheartening to experience such a disregard for customer care and timely information

Sears has been so wonderful to work with! I have two elderly cats who we take in every so often and the staff at Sears are always wonderful, prompt, and treat our babies with so much care and compassion. My one cat is extremely anxious at the vet and they are so caring and patient with her, and really pay attention to her needs and what is best. They are always very easy to get ahold of on the phone and have great availability for appointments. We’ve had some appointments that need to get scheduled asap, and they are always very accommodating. The waiting room is nice and has lots of room to sit and put the carrier down next to me while we wait. My cat will be going in for dental surgery early December, and I am so relieved to have the Sears team looking after her for it!

I used this vet for years. Went from loving your animal to pumping out appointments and no real care for your pet. Customer service is quick to reply but cold and calculated. Business first… not what I’m looking for in a vet.

The staff went above and beyond for my husky and did not overcharge me either. Phenomenal service

I don’t have enough words of gratitude for Sears animal Hospital. We recently lost our dog Boue in a tragic accident. He was hit by a car, managed to run with to Sears animal Hospital, they took him in right away and did everything possible to save him, unfortunately his injuries were to severe and nothing they could have done. Our experience was the most painful we have ever endured but they made everything possible to confront us and took care in the most caring way of this aftercare as well. He was our family member, in his short not even 5 years showed us what unconditional love means.

We had our cat Sprinkle here a few months ago to be treated for her asthma, the entire staff was so kind and so helpful. We had quite the experience trying to get her treated at a different vet before this, wracking up a $1200 bill without answers, but Sears was able to give us all the answers we needed for a MUCH more reasonable price. They were very accommodating and so gentle with my fur baby.
Overall a wonderful experience, very glad we found them!

Heartfelt compassion. Though we mostly look to a vet to help provide the best quality of life for our beloved pets, there is also a sad reality that we also turn to a vet to assist with end of life. I was recently in this situation with my aging Sheppard/Lab X, Leila. The entire staff at Sears proved to be a godsend in helping me to accept and the situation and to make the best possible choices for both of us. The level of care and consideration was greater than what I had expected, and everyone we came into contact with went above and beyond to ensure Leila was treated with the utmost respect and care. Sears Animal Hospital is an amazing place. Wires crossed inadvertently & I visited today instead of tomorrow. Staff were so kind and accommodating. I felt guilty.
Dr. Petra was a great vet. She conducted an exam and recommended treatment. She was very knowledgeable. I noted generally that staff are kind and gentle with the animals. That impressed me the most cause I imagine the clinic is a stressful place to work. Thanks to Shannon and her colleagues for helping me carry my cat and for their calm and reassuring demeanour. It meant alot.

Sears animal hospital, is an excellent veterinary clinic. All of their staff take the time to answer your questions and treat you and your pet like they are important.
We've had several visits over the last couple months due to health issues with our puppy, and of always been treated with respect.
Exceptional service all around.

To anyone who is going to take your furry friends aboard, BE CAUTIOUS! This hospital will make you visit over and over again, just because they are extremely reckless and unprofessional on filing documents. Different small mistakes will continuously appear one by one, some would need you to visit seven times, but some mistakes on Titer test would cost extra money, and they refuse to pay for THEIR mistake.
Oh, sometimes they even refuse to correct the mistakes until WE let CFIA to talk to THEM!

Doctors are nice, but the impatient front desk girl, I really hope you are making progress or have found a job that you REALLY CAN do. Good luck!

Really kind and made room for a dog grape emergency, even though we are a new patient. Our old vet couldn't give us the time of day, but Sears got us in A$AP Rocky

I moved to Ontario from BC in January and started looking for a vet for Finn. The staff here is very welcoming and the doctors are incredibly thorough. All the questions I asked were answered (and some I didn't even think to ask!) and Finn enjoys saying hi to everyone here. Genuine and caring, definitely recommend!

Love the care, and detail sears shows every appointment my dear butkus is there. Love the whole staff as they're always professional and show a special love for my loyal dog. Thanks again and see you soon!

Sears animal hospital is an excellent veterinary clinic very professional and are very knowledgeable they truly do care about your animals I'm so glad I made the switch

I've been bringing my dog here for 6 years and while the vet is really nice and helpful, the staff make errors constantly. There hasn't been a single time I've been there where they haven't forgotten something, put the wrong item on an invoice, etc. On one occasion, they forgot I had an appointment and after waiting an hour in the parking lot, they asked to reschedule. On every occasion they've contacted to make things right but there were just too many mistakes. I've had to go back and pick up medication because they forgot it or gave the wrong dosage. I also once witnessed one of the vet techs use punishment with one of the dogs, which is not okay. Again, super nice, helpful, and they do care about your pet, but so many mistakes!

Dr. Bonnie has been the veterinarian for my dogs for many years. She is knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and patient when I have many questions pertaining to treatment, solutions and followup care.
The staff at Sears are truly wonderful; they care about my dogs and do their best to accommodate their appointment needs.
Dr. Bonnie and/or her staff always followup to see how my pups are doing.
Though both of my dogs were always excited to go to the clinic, Dr. Bonnie and her staff always try to make sure that it is a positive experience; providing treats and lots of loving to make them feel special. I know that my dogs are in good hands and receive the best care at Sears.

I had an emergency with my Kitty and everyone was booked up, but Sears took her in last minute. My experiences with this clinic have been nothing but great, and the staff are extremely understanding and awesome. 100% recommend to anyone!

Did not return calls or follow up after we called many times over the course of a month. When there is an emergency they took there time getting back to us. Don't waste your money find a clinic that truly cares about your pets.

In the 9 years that I’ve had my dog, this is by far the best vet I’ve come across. They truly care about your pets. An amazing staff and incredible customer service.

I bring my kitten hear and even with the pandemic, Sears provides excellent care. The vet calls you and discusses any concerns you may have with your animal and makes sure you understand what they are discussing with you.

Today I made a very difficult decision to put my loving dog to rest. You made the experience more comfortable. Thank you so much for allowing all the time we needed to say goodbye. Your sympathy and empathy was greatly appreciated. Cinnamon was made comfortable and was able to go peacefully. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

A big shout out to Dr Bonnie and the team at Sears Animal Hospital. When I arrived to an appointment for Ruby on the wrong day this week, (completely my mistake!) the team was able to fit Ruby in anyway. Not only did they accommodate us, but Dr Bonnie came out to chat with me in the parking lot, in the rain! (due to Covid I could not accompany Ruby into the clinic). She checked in to see how Ruby has been doing, and also expressed her condolences, as my mother-in-law passed away last week.

They was very polite and right to the point and treated my dogs very good. And I will go back again because of fare prices. I will do anything for my dogs.

My daughter in law took their dog in over a week ago and we all said goodbye to the dog Lucky.she dealt with the most loving and caring people.they felt it was not Lucky's time and to take her home and keep her pain free. She is definitely a lucky dog, she was at my home yesterday and is doing really well. Thank you. I just recommended to good friend who needs help with her dog Brady. Cheers

Fantastic vet office! I have a very nervous cat, and he has loved these guys since minute one. They really care about your pet (s), and always take any potential problem with your pet (s) very seriously. One of my cats had crusty eyes a while back, and they had me bring him in so they could look at him between appointments the day after I called, even though they had no available appointment times for a few days. He was okay, but it was really awesome to know that they don't mess around with your pet's health.

They're affordable, especially with the family plan. The office itself just has a very friendly and cozy vibe to it. The reception staff has always been amazing, especially with covid. Even when you can tell they're exhausted and just want to go home, they are super, genuinely friendly, and they don't rush you. I appreciate the hell out of the vets, techs, and support staff here.

Thank you all so much for what you've been doing. Keeping our pets healthy is incredible during the best of times, and you are putting yourselves at risk by remaining open, even with all of your precautions. Thank you so much. You're all wonderful.

Dr. Bonnie was so compassionate when I lost my beautiful baby boy last week; both with me and Leo in his final moments. I couldn’t have asked for a better clinic to look after my kitties. In Leo’s memory, a donation was made in his honour from Sears Animal Hospital - how amazing is that? Thank you so much for comforting me and will be back with my new addition. We went here yesterday for a second opinion on a terrible ear infection my dog Milo has to see if there was anything they could do to help.

Throughout the appointment, the vet was constantly coming out to update me on what was happening, what they were doing and gave me several options we can try, let me know of all risks and what next steps we could take if the medication they were giving didn't work. I did not expect this level of service and honestly don't know if I could have been more impressed. We greatly appreciated the vet being so patient and understanding throughout the entire appointment given that I had many questions (some related to the infection and some related to other issues Milo has been having). Milo seemed to like them as well as he normally wants nothing to do with vets!

They even threw in a free nail trim which was awesome!

The staff was exceptional friendly and helpful. My 12 week old puppy got sick suddenly and they made room in their busy appointment schedules and took him in within a couple hours of us calling (my home vet couldn't even make room for him). I was overly impressed with their customer service. The vet took even came out to the car (with a mask and maintained 6ft away from my cat due to Covid restrictions) to talk to me before and after they took my puppy in, rather than just calling me over the phone which I really appreciated!

Highly recommend. They have taken great care of my rescue pup and are always kind and courteous. Bonnie is a fantastic vet.

So happy they where able to see my dog right at closing time and stayed late to help him. My new vet for him for sure.

Dr. Bonnie is so very kind and patient. She hugged me through the loss of my pup. We became proud patients again with our next girl Charlie. I never have to wonder if a question I have is valid. Bonnie let’s you know every question is worthy of asking. I never feel like I am being “sold” on treatment like other vets in the past. They truly care about their patients and the families. The pet plans are amazing. It’s good to know when travelling that should need arise, the carers of Charlie can just go in and the appointment is included. Such a good feeling knowing my girl is in capable loving hands.

They are so amazing my sisters kitten is very sick they are very understanding and there compassion is off the charts so amazing will be switching our dogs over to that vet

While I haven’t had Maze for all that long. I love taking her here, everyone is so amazing and nice and caring.

My wife and I have taken our dog, Stella, here for 3 years. Never had an issue. The staff is amazing, friendly and professional, the price is extremely reasonable, booking appointments online, that's extremely useful, and must importantly Stella loves it there. Stella loves going to the vet, and I believe that is truly a sign of how great they are at Sears. Truly an amazing experience. I highly recommend them to all pet owners.

Dr. Bonnie and most of the staff at Sears Animal Hospital are fantastic and take great care of my cat. The setup is not exactly perfect, with it being on a such a busy road and the waiting room almost always full, I find it stresses my cat out more than it should to go to the vet’s. The one tech Christina always gives me attitude and tried to pressure me into buying a package of treatments without any information on treatment plan which really gave me a bad taste in my mouth. Despite this, Dr. Bonnie is the best vet in town so these things are worth putting up with.

Words cannot describe how much care and compassion they showed during a very difficult time. The people working here truly want what's best for your pet. Remember to take your pets in for regular checkups, or for even the slightest change in food and litter habits.

This is a wonderful vet hospital. The Dr and staff are caring and friendly and it isn't hard to see that they are the business not for the money but because they love animals. They care about the animals and their people.

Best vet I've ever had. All the staff are amazing. They're super friendly to both humans and animals, always energetic and love to socialize with you and your pet. They give you very reasonable prices and make sure your pet gets the care they need without costing you an arm and a leg. They also dont push you into buying unnecessary care/meds/ items. Dr. Bonnie is just straight amazing. My pup zues absolutely loved her. She was just amazing with him, and always had treats lol. Sadly I had to move and stopped coming here but if i could have I would have brought Dr. Bonnie with me, shes that amazing. Since moving I haven't been able to get zues to let anyone cut his nails because they dont do it like Dr. Bonnie does. I honestly cant say enough good things about this vet and all of the staff members. I highly recommend coming here.
