Angela the manger is just soooo awful
We just hate her and all of us are hoping the building
Is considers a new management.
Don’t let that nice personality and smile fool you.

Once you sign that lease
Don’t expect to get any fixed
She’s a lazy slumlord

Please consider looking at another building this one is far from being professional I definitely don’t enjoy living here anymore

Old building, great management.

To start, Angela is great. She was always very friendly and on the ball with the maintenance requests. I would usually get a response within a day (more frequently day of!) and depending on the request it could also be done within a day. She would follow up and ask me if everything was good too.

The building seems a little old to me. I don't know the exact year it was built, though. You won't find fancy amenities here, but there is a party room (separate building) that can be booked. Due to age, you'll have to deal with things like water shut-offs at least a few times a month. It's usually around noon on weekdays, though, which doesn't bother me because I'm working.

Units vary (they seem to be regularly renovating though). My unit had good-looking vinyl flooring, but the cupboards/cabinets don't feel particular fancy. There were also drops of paint scattered about from rushed work. The building is decently soundproofed due to the concrete walls/floors. You might hear some noise from the doors or windows (not sure the windows can be helped). As a light sleeper, I had no issues with being woken up.

Overall a nice spot for someone who needs a no frills place to live. It's quiet, simple, and well-maintained.

Only live in this building if you enjoy the water being shut off almost every other day, and ridiculous awning windows that only open a crack at the bottom so that you suffocate because there's no possible way to get any air flowing.

Oh, and whenever there is a heavy rain, rainwater pours in from the exterior exhaust vents on the outside of the building walls that lead into the kitchen to the hood fans, absolutely soaking the ELECTRIC oven and the kitchen floor, but management refuses to fix it, saying it would require hiring a crane to reach the vents on the outer building walls to cover them properly, and "they're not going to spend that kind of money just to keep some rainwater out of our apartments. "

Angela is awesome. Great building. But why are the water shut offs so often? Almost every week there are 2 shut offs.
