Used to be much cozier interior but then it got renovated and now has communal kitchen feel. Service is still nice.

Great coffee good food products the only thing I don't like about them is they won't let you put your own milk and cream so you never quite get your coffee the way you like it I don't know why they won't put them back out to self serve

Delighting and well deserved.
Its the best place to sit to kool off or to warm up.
Outside patio is truly a perfect view of the south to the lake, if u can see dat far.

It's my regular place. Coffee's good. Bagels, too. A little pricey but I already knew that.

I hate to give this place a 1-star review as I've been going to here for years and some of the staff are great and remember my order. But after yesterday's experience I'm uncomfortable returning to this location. Maybe it is wrong of me to order a single serve? I never knew it to be a problem but she was visibly frustrated when I ordered it and gave a tone reminding me that it would cost extra, I told her no problem. I waited 15 minutes for it which was no problem no rush it doesn't usually take as long but if that's how long it takes her then that's okay. When she put it on the counter I asked of she put the steamed coconut milk in it as I had ordered and paid for it and she slapped it on the counter, I asked her for it to be steamed and she let out an audible breath and rolled her eyes and proceeded to make it acting all flustered and clanking stuff, that also took a while and I became somewhat suspicious of what she might be doing to my drink. Anyway she came put it back on the counter and said sorry for the wait possibly trying to redeem herself but it was too late, i told her no problem and left, but will never be back, unfortunate.

They had a drink called London fog on sale that was truly relaxing too drink. The whipped the milk till it was like foam on top of the drink and it truly nice.

My first time not only at this location, but my first time ever drinking at a Second Cup Coffee. I was visiting from out of town and meeting my aunt here. I ordered hot chocolate with no whipped cream. It was absolutely tasteless. They put steamed milk on the top, which I thought was a bit odd. I usually drink hot chocolate from Starbucks and they don't do this. I went to use the washroom and there was a sign on the door stating to get the key from the staff. So I waited behind a customer to get the key. They informed me the key was on the other side of the counter. In the time it took me to ask for the key, another customer got it. Why not put on the door where one can find the key? ! I'm going to stick to Starbucks and Tim Hortons!

The food was great. There are
many different options here like gluten free pastries, for koshers, low calories and for sweet tooth

The only things we would change would be the addition of jalapeno bagels plus herb'n garlic cream cheese.

It's seem that the workers are more interested in gossiping with one an other than to welcome customer and engaging with them. Perhaps your better off going to Starbucks.

Pretty normal size coffee shop. Sitting area fills up quick with longer time staying people chatting. Ordered London Fog and I was recommended a holiday fog which is same as London fog just with fruit tea. The two employees had a discussion what the difference is which I felt was not appropriate as it showed that it depends on who you get what you get. The tea was good. The prices are above average for what you get and the coffee shop wasn’t as clean as I would expect good the prices. Overall ok if you need to wait or meet someone, too expensive for a to go option.

I only go in once a year, and thats to get my xmas tea blend. I buy a box to have a cup of tea on xmas morning with everyone its out little tradition

Similar to other coffee chains such as Starbucks but this is a Canadian chain. Better than Hortons but pricier.

Drinks were delicious and made promptly. Staff was very friendly. Cafe was tidy and had a nice atmosphere.

Ordered small berry hibiscus tea. Received item that was 1/3 foam. Service was not very good. More experienced barrista could have assisted in making beverages as soon as he was done on cash instead of leaving the new barrista to serve 6 waiting customers.

Good lattes. Nice staff and owner. Nice treats. But get a dozen or so people in here, in groups of twos or threes and it's REALLY noisy. Can break your train of thought if you are trying to read or study. Bring noise cancelling head phones!

Very solid coffee. As an avid coffee shop runner, seeing a chain place like this, I was not excited to come here. Definitely a bang for your buck kinda place. Nothing super special but just overall, very good.

Second Cup does not participate in the City of Toronto recycling program, which means everything consumers throw out and all of their own waste including recyclables goes directly to garbage. In the 21st century, and with the threat of climate change I don't respect any business that turns a blind eye to our planet.

I visited this second cup today before running a few errands at Lawrence Plaza. Friendly staff, lots of seating options (bar/counter seats, two person table and chairs, a couple of higher round tables with 2 chairs, and a few cushioned seats as well). Washroom is easy to find. Theres a community cork board which is great to see. Lots of dessert options
I found this to be a slower paced second cup.
Good for working and socializing-maybe less good for needing a coffee on-the-go.

Friendly neighborhood coffee shop. Lots of seating. Wheelchair accessible. Lots of free parking. I get my bean coffee to go with a Nutella cookie for my daughter.
