I rent a couple of units at Finch and Dufferin location, Tas and Kumaran gave me a lot of advise for those units, they are truely gentleman and great helpful.
I'd highly recommend to ask Tes or Kumaran for the rentals

I was there for just a month, but my experience was good. The storage space was clean and I didn't have any issue with clearing out the space. Kamron thank you for your service.

Avoid this place. Management totally unreliable. I booked this place. Showed up at 9 pm with my truck full, but the office was closed. I wait one hour, nobody showed up, still closed. No explanation, no way to contact them. I called the customer support, they tried to reach the managers, none of them answered the phone. I had to find another place last minute, that costed me a fortune. Plus, I wasted 4 hour. Please avoid this place. No respect for customers.

Shantai was very friendly and knowledgeable. She helped us find what we needed quickly and the process was simple. The place looks clean.

Downsizing can be difficult however Kumaran had made it so easy for us going above and beyond with his amazing customer service, great knowledge and advice. He helped us find a suitable unit last minute and even helped providing a truck free of charge for last run arounds. I definitely recommend this storage to anyone looking for a great storage experience.

Always dirty, doors constantly stuck and barely work, manager is rude but tells you to leave a good review so he can give you a $10 discount. I don’t think the reviews on here are real, they were just promised a discount.
Accused me of not paying for month prior and tried to charge me 2 times even though you pay in advance for the next month so what he was saying was impossible. Put a lock on my storage and was rude and aggressive. After half an hour they call me and turns out I was right, I did pay. I can’t believe the way they spoke to me. Highly unprofessional. I was shaking from the way kumaran the manager spoke to me.

We used their services a few years ago and we never had any complaints. Invoices were always sent on time. Customer service was very professional, and facilities were always cleaned.
We need another unit now. I met with Kumaran, Assistant Facility Manager yesterday. He presented the same high standards. He answered all of my questions, showed me a few units. The space is very clean, dry and properly ventilated. I highly recommend this storage facility to everyone.

I am pleased to post a review of this Secure Self Storage location. The facility is clean, well-lit, and - importantly - very easily accessible. And the trolley carts at the storage area entrance are a welcome convenience. Plus the attention and availability of the on-site managers add one extra difference for choosing this self-storage location.

I love this place, they have a really big loading dock and friendly staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good deal on storage.

Two Asian guys met me. Very polite. They actually waited for me after hours. The place is new and clean. Ventilation, classical music. I think, I one can here). And they gave me a discount. The paper work was fast.

I had a couple of lockers here for a couple of years. The place was always clean. The winter temperature was a bit cool. It would be great to have another larger cart. When I closed my lockers, I had one item left which I couldn't get out with the rest. For 3 days, Gereon was kind enough to waive the fee. Thank you!

BAD EXPERIENCE- Although I actually didn't end up renting, I hope this post provides insight into how they conduct business. I called a week ago to inquire. I spoke with Saba and together we worked out the details for my rental. I was very satisfied with the price and I was told the unit would be put on hold for 10 days. I called the day before visiting the locker and spoke with Geieon, who confirmed the hold. I told him I'd be in tomorrow to have a look. Can you guess what happened next? I arrived the next day and the unit was not available anymore. They did have another unit just slightly larger. The price however, was much more than a slight increase. Naturally, I asked if I could get the locker at the same price, but that was a no go. Geieon wanted to charge an additional $70 on top of what I had already worked out with Saba. Why bother putting the locker on hold and confirming that I can come the next day? Geieon, work on building communication with your team so that you're not inconveniencing your customers. Centron Self Storage is literally a 1 min drive up the street. I suggest checking with them first before renting. In terms of friendly service, it's a world of difference.

I rented a storage unit from the Secure Self Storage in North York for a little over a year, little did I know I was continuing to pay for a unit that had been broken into. My belongings were crushed, broken and stolen. When I went to collect my belongings, they were all over the place. I spoke with the manager who really didn't care much. Please do your research first before using this place as they are Not Secure and Do Not have 24 hour surveillance. I was robbed and continued to pay these people to secure my trashed and stolen belongings!

I had my items stored in the North York facility and my locker was broken into. My boxes were smashed, my items were crushed, broken and thrown around and stolen. I was told by the Manager that "this is happening now". After one year of paying a lot of money for this unit just to have my items vandalized, and stolen! Please do your research and find a more secure storage facility that has proper and real 24 hour surveillance to keep your items safe. I do not recommend this place.

Great experience! The 3 staff at the front desk were always helpful and professional. They provided excellent customer care. I only remember the lady's name but will not post it. (she may not like having her name 'up in lights').
I always had BAD feelings about using storage services. I read bad experiences. I went to the BIG NAME place close to me, but my wife and I did not feel good about using their service. We did not feel any sense of customer service. They only cared about getting the money.
We found Secure Self Storage in our search and decided to give them a try. We IMMEDIATELY felt much better having talked to the lady at the front desk. She did not pressure us at all to sign. She gave us the contract to take home and read, so that we could be more informed.
When I went back to sign, she had already reserved a very convenient locker for me (I had previously told her what size we were looking for). I WAS IMPRESSED AND SIGNED RIGHT AWAY!
I gave 4 stars only because the elevator wasn't working one day when I stopped by on a Saturday. Another customer and I tried to make it work but couldn't. It was working the next time I passed by.
The facility is extremely clean all the time, and always well lit. The staff always reply to my emails very promptly. I'm VERY SATISIFIED and will definitely use this place again (Dufferin Avenue, North York site), as well as recommend it to anyone I know who needs storage.

Such a great, and they offered me excellent services. I had to move out of Toronto due to the pandemic, and they offered me an amazing deal for my first 3 months, which was literally a life saver. Besides, they are very well located, mostly if you are a York U student, less than 10 min away, and only 20 mins away from Pearson International Airport.

I have used this place numerous times over the years. No hassle getting set up and even closing down your locker. Sometimes it was hard to find a cart so I bought my own for $60 from cdn tire. They also say "monthly" but they bill every 4 weeks so take note of that when they quote you. $240 a month for a locker means $240 for 28 days.

These guys are THE BEST. A clean, safe and reliable environment. The staff are very helpful and great to work with. Very accommodating and the overall experience was just wonderful. I would highly recommend them and use them again. Really a great experience! THANK YOU!

I joined Secure Self Storage located at 4590 Dufferin Street last May 2020. All I can say about my experience is wow. All the people who works in there are respectful, friendly, manageable, organized and especially helpful for all the customers that they work it. The facility is clean and huge. It can help all the people to organize their exist stuff on their houses and also for the small business that want to store their equipment for their business needs.

Once upon a time my experiences with storage facilities were right next to auto-impound yards and U-Haul moving centres: rude, unhelpful, disorganized, and whose exclusive mission seems to be to empty my life savings. Secure Self Storage has set the new standard for excellence in a totally opposite direction! Parking is easy and lots of it. Make certain you enter by the north driveway that looks like the auto dealership. That's the right one! (The signage could be a bit better.) The business lobby office is spotlessly clean as is the storage area. The manager Gereon spoke to me by phone in the morning with no horrible phone systems i.e. "press 3 for "ignore" or any of that. In fact, I called at 8: 55 a.m. - they open at 9: 00, but Gereon answered right away and got busy helping me. She took my number in case we got disconnected.a small detail but when other businesses drop the call, it's a total pain to call back. She advised I come in to see what size unit I'd need and made sure my details were passed on to her 4: 00 pm associate, Paul. He had the file ready to deal with as soon as I arrived. Specials and discounts e.g. "The second four weeks free on longer rentals" was easy and upfront. Paperwork was pretty fast and Paul gave me a tour of the facility and showed me the entrance doors and my unit. To top it off, he got me a special security lock for $15 (regular $24.) This lock at Home Depot or Staples would easily be $24 or more. This may seem trivial but really when you go to a moving store or U-Haul they absolutely crush you on the high-profit "extras. " Secure Self Storage seems eager to share the best deal on everything and make you happy. A storage unit isn't going to change my life but honestly I love these guys! Compared to the customer beating I have taken at the hands of Bell, Rogers and elsewhere.this business is operated right, with the customer in mind!

This company is the shadiest place. They steal from their clients. My stuff got stolen from there, and the manager named Don simply called me a liar and could care less that my items were stolen. If you care about your stuff do not store it at this facility!

The place is secure and conv-ly located. The only problem is a quality of pavement if you go from Finch. You can brake your wheels in 10 large holes (each from 40 cm to almost 1m in diam.) in pavement.
