I wanted to give a shout out to Dominika Bobak for her outstanding service. We wanted to upgrade our seats on our flight from Toronto to Punta Cana and she accomplished the task extremely well. Apparently the wait time for travel agents is substancially longer than the direct Transat customer but she hung in there for 3 hours and finally got exactly what we wanted. Thank you Dominika. Giulia was absolutely amazing. We have visited the Grand Sirenia in Rivera Maya a number of times and wanted to book again before our daughter goes off to University. If I could give them a 0 I would. I bought a trip recently to Cancun. I was trying to book an 11am flight and was proposed by the agent to buy a 9am flight for an extra $50. Not long after I paid in full I received an email saying that I would be on the 11am flight since the 9am flight was cancelled. I called selloffvacations to get a refund on the extra charge. I was told to wait until after my trip in case the 9am flight got reinstated. Well you can guess what happened when I did right? Nope, we will not reimburse you and neither will Sunwing. Plus the agent was rude. Never again. Don’t do business with these thieves. Oh and for those who might think this was a one off kind of thing. I recently read 5 more reviews of people who had the exact same thing happen to them at different times and different location. So it’s a thing with selloffvacation to sell things and then not deliver while pocketing the extra money. It also seems to be a Sunwing thing, since all five of those other complaints were with Sunwing as well. Best advice, if selloff or Sunwing try and sell you something extra it’s probably to rob you of extra money.

Josee was the most helpful, kind, and sweetest travel agent I've ever worked with! She helped me find an amazing deal, gave me several options within and below my budget and even told us of extra deals! She is kind and amazing at her job and I've never had such a great experience! This is my first vacation in 8 years and it wouldn't have happened without Josee. Thank you so so so much!

Hi, I’m want to express my sincere thanks to the Selloff Vacations representative, Josee Lavoie. I had a couple of questions with my reservation and did not necessarily need my personal representative that booked me for my trip, as I was told anyone could help me. The first couple of people that I tried from Selloff Vacations, kept telling me I had to contact my original representative for help. I tried again, and the last time I received Josee Lavoie. She delightfully and efficiently, offered her help to answer my questions, and did not once tell me that I had to see my original representative. That, is the kind of service that one expects and appreciates. Thanks Josee!

I just booked through sell off. I chose selloff vacations because of the big savings promotion. You book 6 or more people you get a discount that worked out to $168 accumulated for me. I spoke with Tammy to confirm this. When I called back later in the day and was answered by Amy, I confirmed the promotion and we started booking. Problem was that we had 7 people so to book on the site so we booked the rooms separately. I said I didnt mind as long as it didn't change anything. Once my credit card was charged the discount wasn't applied. Not to mention she spelt every single part of my information wrong and I had to call back to get it corrected I.would stay far away from this company.

Very disappointed and frustrated with Sell Off Vacations customer service

When we purchased our all-inclusive package there was no family suit available at that time. Family suit is something that we do prefer because of children. At the moment, I can clearly see that there are family suits available for much lover price.

I reached out to Sell Off customer service several times to see if they can switch our regular room to a family suit but the answer was no. Nothing can be done. How is it fair that someone who paid much, much more is not getting at least a better room.

We are very frustrated and disappointed.

We wanted to take the opportunity to let you know about the outstanding customer service we received from Charmaine from your Edmonton office. Although, she was not the Sell Off Vacations travel agent we purchased our Mexican vacation through, she was the only agent we were able to reach on the 20th of December 2022, in the midst of the weather-related travel cancellations by WestJet.
We were impressed that despite hearing nothing from WestJet locally in Vancouver, online or by telephone (as well as the grim picture painted by media) ; Charmaine by the evening of the 20th, was able to confirm us on a WestJet flight on the 21st to our sunny vacation in Mexico.
Please pass on our thanks and appreciation for what we expect was no simple task, and that without her committed effort we would not have been able to take our vacation.
Charmaine Dunn is the reason we will not hesitate to use or recommend Sell Off Vacations for future travel.

I am very frustrated. I've been asked to call in to pay the balance of my trip, however, for three times in a row, I've been on hold for over 2 hours.this is ridiculous.

Absolutely bad customer service! I called few times and after more than hour hold they simply disconnected the call and this happened 3 times! I think they don't need business! Very angry on their act

Giulia Caputi was an excellent representative. She helped out through multiple issues and I believe she went above and beyond her requirements.

I ended up calling SellOffVacations at 10pm. Even though it was so late Josee was extremely friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful.
I would definitely reach out to her in the future.

Don’t bother wasting your time with this company. We used the Cambridge Ontario location to book a trip and it was a horrible experience. From being sold trip add pm’s that don’t even exist to having the travel agent avoid all of our questions. We sent multiple complaints to the management and they didn’t reply, and still to this day all of the issues were never resolved. Bev was our travel agent and she was also supposedly the manager of the location and whenever we contacted her regarding another new issue she would just avoid the issue and the only thing she’d say was that it’s just human error, she never tried to resolve anything.

Such a waste of time and money dealing with that location and this company in general.

Sell off vacations should never be trusted. I booked a trip online to Mexico and paid online in full. Called to change my daughters middle name as I made a mistake and they advised me it will cost me 50.00 which is paid to Sunwing. Next day I got charged 3600.00 in addition to the 50.00, it’s been a week now when I call they say you booked online email customer service. I haven’t heard from them yet despite emailing them everyday. It’s fraudulent …and no one in sell of vacations cares to rectify the problem. It’s a shame that they are irresponsible. Never will I do business with them. Be aware of how they process charges. Extremely poor customer service

I've been using selloffvacations for years to book all inclusive vacations as they always have the best deals comparing to other agencies and their customer service is exceptional.

For anyone looking to book with selloff, be aware. If there are any flight disruptions or changes, they will take weeks to get back to you and have unacceptable wait times on the phone (see screenshot of waiting 2.5 hours before finally giving up).

The Travel Counselors tell you they’ll get back to you asap but never do (“asap” was 30 days ago). I am hoping to save someone else the headache of false security and poor quality client service.

I have booked both family trips to Europe and the Caribbean and hockey team trips for a group of 40 to the US with Robyn Arnold. She is the absolute best at what she does. She is always quick to respond to any email and provides all the details you need to know about any trip. Especially during COVID, she has been amazing to provide extra info needed to alleviate my concerns. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Robyn Arnold and highly recommend her to anyone needing to book travel.

I have had a horrible experience with SellOffVacation’s customer service. I have been waiting for a refund for a trip cancelled due to COVID for about 6 months now. They didn’t even offer a full refund during the first year after the trip was cancelled, then when they finally did start to offer refunds, it has taken over half a year for the refund request to process. I have tried getting in touch for updates on why it is taking so long or to ask when I can expect to receive my money back and they don’t even answer emails anymore. The whole ordeal has been ridiculously lengthy and tiring, and I am extremely disappointed to have been waiting to get my money back for almost two years now. I would never book through them again.

We had to rebook our trip to Domican Republic with Robyn Arnold. She was very efficient and helpful. I will definitely utilize her services again.

Carol is AH-MAZ-ING! She and I were on the phone for about 2 hours trying to find a vacation that would suit my price point and specific travel dates. She was patient, offered her opinion on resorts and made sure she guided me through the whole process even when we were having difficulties with Uplift. Wow! Just had a great customer service experience with Vanessa (ext 6125) and would highly working with her.

I had booked a trip with her about a month ago and then had to change the dates. Not only was she able to find me an upgraded room for only a few dollars more, she was able to get Westjet to waive the change fees which saved me $200!

Carol Taylor was an angel!

My husband and I had just got married and about to leave our house for our honeymoon (flight at 6am the next morning) when the unthinkable happened (my passport had expired!) Devastated we called Sun wing to see what we could do as sell off vacation s in our area was closed. They were completely unhelpful, kept putting us on hold, hung up on is while we were on hold and tried to tell us we couldnt do anything even though i had purchased the cancelation insurance. Finally i asked to speak to the supervisor and was told i could contact any sell off vacation travel agent not just the one i booked with.

Here i was put in contact with Carol and she was soo wonderful. She even offered to reschedule our honeymoon instead of having to cancel it and take a voucher. We rescheduled for a week later and had a wonderful time. I will always be grateful to her for what she did for us and how heartfelt she was to us as we were both in tears thinking we lost our honeymoon (value of $5000).

Would highly recommend Carol as she saved our honeymoon and was soo sweet!

My sister and I have travelled to The Royal Decameron in Panama for 19 years. Vanessa Mohammed has been our amazing travel agent for our last 8 (?) plus years. She is always extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We are always pleased with her promptness with responding to calls and emails. She goes out of her way to include pertinent information to be included with our requests. We always stay over in Toronto the night before and the night after our trip. This year we are going for 4 weeks and Vanessa booked a great rate at an airport hotel with parking. She is a marvellous agent and you are very lucky to have her working for Selloffvacations. I booked a trip over the telephone with Michelle Zammit a few days ago. She was amazing! Michelle was very personable and made me feel like I was talking to a friend. She answered all of my questions and provided me with some useful travel tips to get the most out of our upcoming vacation. I booked a trip this morning with Michelle Z, and she made the experience a wonderful one! I was very impressed with how personable and professional she was. Michelle Z is obviously very knowledgeable, and she made sure to provide a lot of important information without me even having to ask! Specifically, she did an excellent job of explaining the policies of the airlines and how much luggage each person could bring. Michelle was also thorough in explaining all of the costs and details associated with the trip, and provided an extremely comprehensive explanation of what additional travel insurance covered. We have been very loyal customer of Selloff Vacations for many years. We have booked four times with them, 3 of these times have been within the past 9 Months. In the past they have provided a great price with very good customer service, until this booking.

We were meeting friends from the US in the Mayan Riviera. We wanted to book the Grand Sunset Princess, however our friends were not able to book this resort. They were only able to book the Riviera Mayan Princess and were told that they had sharing rights with the Grand Sunset princess.
Before we finalized the booking, I asked the travel agent that was assisting us Vanessa Mohammed, very specifically if these resorts had sharing rights with one another. Vanessa Mohammed said, no, they don't. She said if we wanted to ensure that we were able to spend time with our friends, that we would have to book the same resort that they did.
We booked our trip, excited that we were going to see our friends. Since then, I joined the FB group for the Grand Sunset Princess, and discovered that the two resorts most definitely have sharing rights with one another.travel agent Vanessa Mohammed provided us with false information resulting in us paying hundreds of dollars more for our vacation, as well as losing a whole day of our vacation because the difference in the flight times.

Vanessa did not do any research regarding my question. In fact, she didn't even return my call after she said "she was going to look into it and get back to me"

. My Son used to work at Selloff as a travel agent, and I am aware of the company policies and procedures. I am aware that your travel agents have access to a Air Canada Vacations representative that Vanessa should have contacted prior to us making the booking.
I know it's company policy to call a customer back before your shift ends. We feel this is extremely cowardly and unprofessional behavior on her part.

The Grand Sunset is a very popular destination for your customers, and we feel that this is most definitely something she should have known. If she was unaware, she should have made a phone call to ACV, or speak to another travel agent, or call the resort personally which is what we suggested to her.

We have always received fantastic customer service with a great price with Selloff. Unfortunately, we are so appalled by the level of customer service that we have been given booking this vacation. It's unprofessional of them to stand behind their agent who very clearly did not do their research for the client. We feel she coerced us into making this booking as she will be making more commission on it, and it costs hundreds of dollars more. I must clarify that our friends travel agent DID call the resort and was advised that the resorts had sharing rights, and that's what made us look into it further. We stupidly took the advice that Vanessa Mohammed provided, and was mislead. Needless to say, will be taking our future business elsewhere. We will be telling our story to friends and family and advise everyone to never use this company again.

Robyn Arnold served us on the phone, making our booking super-easy. When I needed some details repeated and explained, she did so with ease. I would definitely use Sell off Vacations to book our next vacation in the future!
