I was completely impressed with Nadine and her professionalism and customer service level.it’s really top-notch. The best thing you can offer your customers is paying full attention to their needs:) and that exactly what I got today she took her time to find me what I was looking for. I would provide a 5 star review, only for the fact the cologne in question is readily available at this Sephora but not at the Bayview Village Sephora. Good news is I am able to purchase it. Bad news is the luxury mall I assumed it would be in, does not have and the least luxury mall does have it. Thanks for the drive.

I love sephora a lot because they recommend things that are suitable for you and your skin by taking their surveys or tests. For example, if you need help on skincare products, you can ask a sephora expert on livechat, or even take a test and see which suits you. I've always had problems with dry skin but now, that I understand what my cleanser and moisturizer is, my skin is so much better than before.

It was my first time buying products at Sephora and I got the best service and knowledge for the products I needed. One of the workers, her name being Nadine, gave me recommendations, assisted in my search for these products, did a great job at making it a great first experience I'll never forget!

Short review: Somebody give Chanel a raise.

Long review: I was first helped by someone who wasn't great, I knew from her slouch and expression that she wanted to go home 8 hours ago when her shift began. I get it. But the way she'd put makeup on my face and it would be so streaky and so little to even tell the difference LOL

Then the person at the front offered to direct me to someone else and kept calling in the walkie talkie if Chanel was available. I thought, yo this girl's gotta be good. And from the moment she walked up, I knew she would be. She was SOOO helpful, telling me what products are worth it and what isn't (and possible dupes). She was so friendly and attentive and offered to help me with a bunch of different things. I left with a really good colour match and what I went in looking for! Nadine was also really helpful, also got me so many freebie samples. Honestly I couldn't believe how nice they were, didn't make any of my questions feel like a bother at all and helped me with anything I wanted to try with a friendly, funny, and calm attitude. Thank youuuu!

Went to this location at the very end of the day on Sunday, I knew what I wanted and knew it would be quick. The lady at the door kindly reminded me that the store was getting closed and I went in to quickly grab what I wanted.

After I grabbed my lip liner, I waited in line to pay and I was assisted by Shahkur or shakur (male representative). He was kinda rude and when he asked if I was a member and I answered by giving my number, he cut me off and told me to put it in the machine. Then he was so distracted socializing with he’s collegues that he didn’t bother to ask if I wanted bag. He hands the lip liner to me and receipt and proceeds to call on the next customer, I had to stop him and ask for a bag. Which he replied oh okay here.

I get that its the end of the shift but that’s no reason to be rude, or ignorant towards customers. I been to this location multiple times and the representatives have never failed to ask if I needed a bag. They have always been nice and friendly. Very disappointed

Customer support laddies are lazy! Not willing to help customers to choose products. They like to stand for the sake of standing to get paid, or busy talking with their colleagues.

They need better attitude in terms of helping buyers. They should NOT talk with their colleagues about customers behind customers’ back! That’s so rude and non professional!

I'm only giving 5 stars bc I came into the store yesterday and checked out around 4: 45pm (May 9th, 2023). I had to return two separate sephora orders and the lady who helped me (I wished I had her name!), was an angel.

She was patient, kind and overall good vibes. She didn't rush me at all and helped me find my receipt and card to scan on the app. Literally the nicest sephora worker I've ever encountered. Couldn't thank her enough for being so kind.

Typically staff aren't the greatest here tbh. I'm so happy she helped me out today.

This branch is close by my home, and I usually do all my purchases from here. Today, I was there for a failed transaction. A man named Alwin as manager was very rude and had too much attitude. He was just trying to get rid of the customer without taking any steps. It was the worst customer service experience that I've ever had in Canada.
There was another lady called Ravina, super nice, she took care of me very kindly. And I felt better. Thanks Ravina

There are number of women working here who are extremely awkward in their communication. Most of them are middle aged with very toxic, miserable and insecure attitudes. With exception of one or two staff the rest are pretty much same. They follow you around and will do everything to make you feel uncomfortable when you are there just minding your businesses and checking out stuff but when unfortunately you actually need their help they disappear or will not bother listening to you. They will cut you off 10 times before you finish your sentence. That is exactly what happened to me today but I ended telling the woman ok never mind I don’t want help then the lady started being rude to me making a scene for merely telling her nvm. Then a few other staff comes along ganging up on me, I avoided confrontation with them by ignoring them and going to the next isle. One of them follows me even to the other isle telling me I am rude to the staff and she will ask to leave the store. I was there with my daughter I was so embarrassed my daughter witnessing their classless, barbaric and extremely rude behaviour and I have never felt so freighted while shopping. They didn’t even bother to act a bit civilized for the fact that I was heavily pregnant. I Iive very close to this location but I avoid it 99% of time and order whatever I need online unless it is absolutely emergency. Literally they have absolutely no class or basic understanding of etiquettes and how to act like a civilized human.

Just finished shopping at Sephora at Fairview, I needed a few last-minute items for a trip. Kadeem, was such a helpful sales associate! He was able to find me the products that I needed so quickly and efficiently! He really saved me, can't wait to shop with him again! Thank you Kadeem!

My wife had one of the worst experiences at this store from the staff over there, this wasn't her first visit she's almost there every few days as we're living near by, today she was there with our 9 months old kid and the baby took something by mistake and put it next to him at the stroller, when they start leaving one of the staff stopped her and instead of pointing that the baby took something by mistake, nooo she start yelling at my wife that you stole it, my wife calmly said it was clearly the baby you didn't find it hidden it as at clear view and anyway if this will calm you down I will pay for it, unfortunately with a very rude attitude she kept yelling and the really bad think that even other staff members who knew my wife from her previous visits and many purchases didn't intervene and just kept looking at the situation until the store manager came and said no problem you can just pay for this thing. At the end they just did a really bad scene that just affected my wife emotionally and scared our child without any reason. You need to check how your staff treat people, you might say I don't mind losing a single customer which you did, but you have to know that with this kind of staff you hire you'll lose much more.

I like the attention I get as soon as I walk into the door. The little birthday gift is always a parang surprise at checkout. The ladies are always very detail-oriented ensuring that all of your needs are attended to. Kudos to the staff!

The staff is not helpful and very much focused in transaction.
I went with my daughter who wanted help in understanding the basics of makeup as she felt overwhelmed by the huge selection of products.
Staff said book a makeup session and we will explain as we are very busy now, and went back to chatting with her other colleagues for the next 30 mins.

Daugther never wants to go back to this place again.

Store manager needs to monitor the staff interactions better.

I went to this location for make up for my birthday, the appointment was from 2: 45 to 3: 45 (60 minutes full face) but the make up artist named Jessica started at 3: 10 and she left me in the middle of the work 4-5 times to take the stuff and each time took 5 to 10 minutes. And she was doing error and trial on me, very very unprofessional, she was doing the things that I never wanted her to do, she was very slow and she finished her work at 5 pm! And i was there from 2: 30. It was very frustraiting. I talked to supervisor, she was very rude to me and said you can stop booking with us and I can not do anything for you. It was my worse experience being in sephora, I would never go back there again and I told it to all my birthday guest that never go there.

I shopped for three people, my roommate, my friend’s fiancé, and myself.

I don't go to Sephora often and with COVID it was hard to go in and get anything as we couldn't try anything on and stuff. Finally now that I'm able to get some help matching my skin tone in person, I went in. I got a girl to help me who was so helpful. However she had a client who she had to tend to and she passed me off to another associate who didn't really seem as interested or eager to help. We tried a couple of things already with the first girl and I almost made up my mind which product I wanted, I just wanted to try another brand to make sure I got the best product for me. The first girl told the second girl what we are considering - product and shade. Second girl showed me another couple of products and ultimately I decided to go with the product I was considering earlier. She forgot what the product was or the shade. It wasn't an issue asking the original girl what it was, that's not my complaint, my issue is the quality of customer service I got from the second associate. It's like she rather be watching paint dry than help with what I would consider professional knowledge since she's a MUA. Maybe I'm not someone to drop several hundred of dollars at once as I just got one thing, but it was still over $50 and that's a lot for someone who is a stay at home mom. First girl, I'm sorry I didn't get your name, you're amazing. Sweet, patient and knowledgable. She had edgier make up if that helps at all and was of Asian descent. Next time I hope she's there to help me again.

So far the worst store based on my experience at this location with the managers COURTNEY and MARK which they don't even have the manner to talk to you respectfully like they would know where they are working and people who are shopping at this store should know they give the horrible service and not welcoming behaviour toward customer, since COURTNEY refuses to do my return since there was nothing wrong with it and MARK with the rudest way called the security, he wanted to force me to leave the store without no issue with anything from me and I respectfully call it RACISM. Anyway if I could give 0 star of course I would and never shop there again.

The store has so many collections from high end brands to really affordable ones. The staff were very very helpful. Especially Ms. Claudia who helped me find my perfect shade for concealer! She was AMAZING ️ I didn't hesitate to spend $50 on it because of her knowledge and effort to help me. She works on weekends this season. Do ask for her if you're ever the store!

(happened 2 years ago) Security accused me of stealing and then took MY lipstick & Fenty highlighter that was in my purse (they were both very obviously used). I showed him proof of purchase of both, i just had those items with my because i always carry them. I even bought more stuff while i was shopping there. It was super embarressing, they then called the police because I was upset he stole my items. The manager never did anything

Sephora Fairview by far has the best customer service. The staff (Suzie) who brought out my products to curbside today was so friendly and nice, I could have sat and talked to her for hours. The manager on shift was also so wonderful, they went above and beyond today. I am happy that this is my go to location.

The employee and manager in CF Fairview Mall location (Unit #2062, ON M2J 5A7) are really unprofessional and helpless. My friends stop buying products from Sephora since last year because their staff are very rude to them.
Staff in this location very impatient to answer questions. For example, they'd like to say "over there" rather than give you more detail to guide where is exact location for the item you are looking for. When you want to know more about a product you are interest, they won't explain, they just say "Good for all type of the skin, if you don't like, just return back. "
Yesterday at 5: 30PM (Nov 20,2020), i went to this location to return my online purchase which I paid by Paypal. I have never had any issue with 30 days fully refund in any Sephora store before. But this location only offer me store credit. And the most ridiculous thing is they said "They lady who spend $600 on Dyson have no problem with store credit, why you so difficult? " I need an explanation

The manager there had really poor customer service skills. I was in a really good mood when i do shopping with my bf, but the way she talk, feel judge about rich, poor, cheap products you get from us. She made me loose my temper so easy.
Compare with Sephora in Scarborough Town Center, Eaton Center. Other store sales are professional and knowledgeable, cashier cash out faster, also have a warm welcome greet. The staff who stand in front of the door in this location feels cannot see any one.
I will never come to this location. I suggest you don't come here too.

I will never recommend this Sephora. Some of the staffs are friendly while not the CASHIER, especially when you want to exchange or return something they will be rude.
I was there today to exchange a free gift which comes with the products I got yesterday. I didn't open and check it at first. But I found the product was opened and used after I got home. It's a setting spray which was crystallized on the nozzle. Then I went to the cashier and want to exchange for a new one, the cashier asked me how did you know it's used even it's obvious had been opened for a long time, it's impossible to be like that if opened for just one day. But her face was like that I was lying and causing trouble. Even though she did exchange for me at last but the process really made me sick.
It's that the right way to sort your products especially in this time? Put some used items back to the shelf and sell it to another customer?
I will never go back to this Sephora anymore.

I went to this store to get a gift for my girlfriend for the Valentine's day and the staff were busy. I had to wait for couple of minutes, but they eventually helped me and I got what I wanted. Will definitely visit again.

I visited this location last week and I love it!

A very pleasant lady from skin care took the time to explain me how to make my skin care routine and gave me helpful tips. I don't remember her name but you can tell she definitely loves her job. Great costumer service Sephora, hire more people like her!

This is probably the worst Sephora I've ever been to.

The manager along with the staff had a really bad attitude.

As soon as i entered the employees were chatting and averted their eyes when customers came in.
No greetings even though i said hello.

The Manager itself seemed to be annoyed. Didn't have any will to even speak cordially to a customer. She delegated the task to other employees who just wanted to get rid of me rather than actually help me find what I'm looking for.

The store was literally empty. So why the rush?

I told them my concern and what i was looking for.

The employee grabbed the first thing that was infront of them and told me she recommended it. No other options given.

Without even asking my skin type!

I'm appalled.

Excellent non customer service skills your teaching your employees Manager! I’m sure the bitterness of the employees didn’t fall far from the tree. Fariba or Fariba, don’t really care what her name is, is rude. I went to her asked her for a glitter sample for my daughter and she said we don’t have, when it’s literally all over the internet. So I said are you sure, it’s all over the internet. She then pretends like she’s paging somebody to falsely affirm that they don’t have glitter samples. Then she goes no and abruptly says, you can go to the manager and tell them. I said why would I go to the manager is he going to have it, or have a different answer. She goes No, but we don’t have. Um okay, you work in the customer service department and your serving people who you feel like individually serving. But had just watched you give out 5 perfume samples to a little girl just before I asked you the question and you gladly wished her a happy holiday. Kudos to the manager for hiring such people!

Great store selling SOME MID - HIGHER END SKIN CARE REGIMENS. Extremely helpful knowledgeable beauty experts. Clean bright organized layout. Be prepared to answer some personal skin questions before they can provide free advise. Good luck on their recommendations.
They carry cosmetics fragrances perfumes callonges for women & men respectively.

Bad customer service. I was waiting for someone to help me and even after someone paged for assistance for me the workers continued talking to each other and laughing. While waiting I called someone over and she looked like she was annoyed to be helping an actual customer. And after she started arguing with me that the product was there the whole time I could have just grabbed it. I told her that’s not the one I wanted it was a pink bottle and I see it in the drawer. And she still said no it’s this one pointing at the one on the shelf with a completely different container and packaging and product. I literally pointed at the pink bottle in the drawer several times and said it’s there.
After asking the fourth time she said oh okay here. Why was that so hard to do? Her name tag said Rosey. I think Sephora needs to recheck who they hire because this girl seemed annoyed to be helping someone when that’s what she gets paid to do.

There's a lot of good quality products here but definitely overwhelming if you don't know what you are looking for. A bit pricey but hopefully worth it for the quality.

Gave gf credit card and told her to get whatever she wanted but being new to make up, she was completely lost. First four staff members she asked for help were not helpful (perhaps busy with other customers) but the fifth one took the time to show her a few products she could start with.

Ended up getting a few things but she said she won't be back until she learns more on her own so she can know what to purchase.

I rarely have a good experience at this particular location. The nicest and genuine people there are the ladies who work in the fragrance department. I had a lovely lady take her time and explain the difference scents for me and my friend and offered samples as well.

Ive been there yesterday the sales person introduced me a foundation i told her that i have sensitive skin she just tried a bit on my face i came home the colour was actually like turmeric i told her that i dont want yellow and she gave me the wrong number

I had to return some things to this mall this morning and the girl was so helpful. Ended up talking to her as she was processing the transaction and she was very kind, helping me with rewards and talking to me about the Fenty body lava (I hope this is enough for her to recognise it’s about her!). Really friendly store too!
