This Sephora store is large and well-stocked with all the products you'd expect from the brand. However, the main letdown here is the staff. It's quite challenging to find assistance, and even if you manage to find someone, they often lack knowledge about the products. I'm a regular visitor to this store, and it's always disheartening to see staff members huddled together at the front, chatting among themselves instead of being attentive to customers' needs.

If you're confident about what you're looking for and don't require any help, this store is excellent. But if you seek assistance or product knowledge, I recommend trying another location.

I went to 3 Sephoras in Toronto last week trying to track down a certain color of bronzer. This is by far the nicest one. Clean, organized, and carries a large number of brands.

Not a fan of this location, very rude staff and no one seems to know anything about customer service. Decent selection.

Update: Staff are absolutely revolting. Very catty and malicious women that work here. Had to make a purchase and they charged me twice for a product and had to put me through the hassle of calling them as well as my bank to figure things out. Never ever set foot in this location.

They don't wear name tags. I have shopped here a few times cause its very close to my workplace. I can't get over how rude the staffs here treated me. They have attitude and are extremely unprofessional, they talked back to me - I never had such a bad experience shopping in Sephora or any other stores before.
My health was greatly impacted by this experience, I don't know if they even read the AODA. I would never treat any customer the way they treated me. They even asked me if I could shop at a different location if I wasn't comfortable with their staff. I was appalled. I came in to feel better but I left crying.

The staffs here have an attitude and the manager of this branch also tolerates it. The manager didn’t even care. The staff said I was being rude to her coworker but in fact she was the one who was rude. They were watching me like I was going to steal something. It made me really uncomfortable almost like being ganged up on. Like how many staffs does one person need to be assisted?

Always friendly & helpful! I needed to exchange a moisturizer but my dog was with me, which made me a bit nervous. They welcomed him with such great energy. One employee even spent a good 5 minutes giving him belly rubs and giggling. It truly made my day!

Absolutely wonderful experience in #3 SEPHORA all thanks to Shyam. They were by far the most help in my fragrance finding journey and took the time and care to find the right product for me. The world would be a much better place if more people similar to Shyam existed! I am overly thankful for the service and have to recommend them to anyone else as indecisive and difficult as I can be when shopping for fragrances!

Not a fan of this location.

I go to this location every once in a while when I need makeup because I have and appointment close by and EVERY TIME I go in at least 4 employees ask if I need help/want a basket within the first 2 mins of me entering the store. It's literally one right after the other. I can barely even get to the display I want because I'm getting stopped so frequently!

At first I believed it was because the store is usually not too busy so they just want something to do, but the last time I went in, one of the employees stood 5 feet away and just watched me swatch fenty blush on my hand. When I moved to the other side of the display she moved as well, keeping me in her sight line.

I don't appreciate the "subtle" theft accusations. It's rude, uncomfortable, and discriminatory. Never had this problem at any other Sephora.

Terrible service at this location at the cash. Spent $200 on cosmetics for my sister’s birthday gift and the cashier didn’t even want to give me a bag. I told her right at the beginning that the item was a gift and if they could wrap it for me and she said NO. I had to ask for a bag and they don’t even have tissue papers anymore. Very disappointed at the service. I could have gotten this item from Holt’s or Nordstrom for the same price in a more presentable bag. Will definitely not shop at this location again. The experience was like shopping at a low end store.

Last week I went into Sephora on Bloor Street to pick up a few items. I received help from Tania who was Absolutely Incredible! Tania was Super friendly, Really caring and Sooo knowledgeable about the products! She found me a perfect match for a lipgloss that was no longer available, an eye shadow palette that looks absolutely gorgeous with my eye colour and a beautiful shade of liquid eyeliner that I would not have chosen without her help! She as well showed me how to apply the shadows and tips for applying the liner. She is truly an Amazingly talented make up artist! When I paid for my items, I was helped by Roufaida who was so kind and joyful. I really got the sense she loved people and loved her job! This experience really lifted my mood and warmed my heart. A few days ago I went back again to buy a gift for a friend and Roufaida was the greeter. She again was so warm, happy and welcoming and remembered me from my visit a week before! Both Tania and Roufaida are a huge asset to your company with their knowledge, professionalism, glowing personalities and humanity. Looking forward to shopping at Sephora Bloor St in the future.

Went there week ago to buy gift for my family and this girl named Katie was helping me and I learned a lot about perfumes, she has so much knowledge about section she works she definitely needs raise, and she was so helpful and one of most kind people I've ever met she was there showing me different perfumes for like half hour and still not bored of it, I'll definitely visit this specific Sephora next time I need perfume, thank you again Katie for being super nice and helpful and thank you Sephora for having employee like Katie

I am going to be very honest. At first I was thrown off by the first Representative I met because she was very rude to me but then I pushed it aside and decided to find whatever I was looking for by myself when this lovely lady that works there asks me how I was doing and if I needed help. She showed me around and I was grateful because I just needed a few things to brighten my day. Reps like her needs to be honored. After that I had a great time. The place is simple divine. You should go, try it out. I am glad I did.

Really poor customer service. I asked one of the employees to help me match which brow shade I should use, the person assisted me for less than 10 seconds then left to go hang out with their coworkers. The employees in general seem not eager to help or recommend you any products when you ask them to, they’ll spend very little time assisting u. I found what I wanted but decided to purchase it at the Sephora at STC instead just because their customer service is much better

I love Jade at this location. Inspite of the fact that they were super busy she helped me with all my needs and she gave me all the best beauty tips. The products were sold out but I know whats best for me to place order now.

Staff need to get up to date with the availability of vegan products. Twice I’ve gone in there knowing a product was vegan and the staff shut me off saying it’s not. I know vegans can be annoying but it’s the future so get used to it already.

Also there’s absolutely no need to be a rouge member. You don’t get any extra benefit in this covid age. I’ve lost out on two years of free makeovers and events because of covid. And it doesn’t seem like they’re getting it back.
You get first access to stuff (one day early maybe) and a little extra discount but honestly it’s not worth it.

Edit to reply to Sephora: I don’t want to put people on the spot. This should be updated to everyone in all Sephora stores collectively.

Shyam has to be one the most professional person I have seen. I went to try some new colognes, and he went above and beyond. Not pushy to sell me a fragrance quick, but rather letting me try them at my own pace. If you see this yourself Shyam, you’re a legend. Thanks

Very nice store, yes it is pricey but they also have a great Sephora collection that is really nice for the price! One employee there was extremely helpful and enjoyed talking with him about perfumes and general life stuff. Great staff who go out of their way to help!

One of the worst Sephora’s I've ever been to. Not one employee helped me after I aimlessly walked around the skin care section. The employees were more focused on the new NARS marketing being put up then actually helping me. I asked an employee to check if they had a product and she said “no” and then walked away. I am a ROUGE and spend a lot of money at Sephora. I also have worked previously at other luxury brands and I was appalled by the lack of customer service. Do not go to this location unless you know exactly what you want and don’t need help in any form because you’re definitely not going to get any. Cheers.

Huge location. Loads of different brands and great selection. I did find their stock was low with so many products. They don’t do samples anymore which is disappointing but i guess it’s understandable in a pandemic but the alternative is buying it and returning it to be thrown out so that sucks. Staff was very nice though.

Was able to answer all my questions and instead of trying to sell me something I didn't need / want I was directed to another establishment that sold the product I required. I love honest staff and brands.

Ordered for curb side pick up online. Followed the instructions in the email and parked in the 15 minute parking spots. I called the store and told them where I’m parked. They had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. Spoke to two different people and they had the audacity to ask me to walk in and pick up the order. If I wanted to come into the store, I wouldn’t have ordered for curb side pick up. Don’t ask me to walk in because you are lazy. I ended up suggesting that I’ll block the road and park infront of their store so they can bring it out. Lady comes out with wrong order and it took her couple of minutes to figure it out with my help. The first name matches but last name doesnt. Not really that hard to pick the right order if she was paying attention. Waited 5 more minutes for them to bring the right order out. Absolutely terrible service.

I was at this location recently to purchase some moisturizer. I was offered several times a basket, but due to Covid19 I felt uncomfortable using one. I also opted out from a basket as I know that i'll end up leaving with way more than the moisturizer. Since when has refusing a basket been an indicator of shoplifting? I wanted to shop in peace, but every corner i turn, a staff member would bombard me with "Would you like a basket? ". When i politely refuse, i see the staff members gossiping. I was approached 8 times if i wanted a basket! I was not dressed like a slob - nor was i being suspicious. I felt very uncomfortable shopping here - i probably would've spent more $$$ if i wasn't profiled. Likely taking my business to the bay or shoppers from now on

Went to test out some fragrances today, had the most unexpected and exciting experience ever with Shyam. He was so helpful and enthusiastic, made sure that my experience was nothing short of unique, and he also helped me pick out my new favorite fragrance! Definitely worth checking out this store, the atmosphere is awesome!

My first time visiting this location and the staff were amazing. One sales associate in particular named Beverly was so amazing and helpful. I felt lost when it came to what to purchase as I dont wear makeup and was gifted a gift card for my birthday. She suggested a nice natural face moisturizer and a natural hair mask. I am very happy with my shopping experience. Cashiers were also very fast as line up was longer due to covid times. Thank you Sephora staff!

Went here and the greeters were great hence the one star. One greeter wore a black leather/pleather A-line skirt and she was super helpful as she went to find me help. She found an old man with white hair and glasses to help me in skin care, but he didn’t know anything about the item being sold, etc. Okay fine. I told him that I had various reasons and a bad experience from returning something and preferred to not buy the two items priced about $210 and $585+ until I had more information. I had to listen to him explaining useless information and he really wasn’t aware of the products so I would have preferred him to be quiet, but instead he was inpatient to hear me talk and cut me off after just a minute! Such a waste of my valuable time. Need someone more knowledgeable and better bedside manners whom isn’t interested in hearing them self talk and “assume things”. Plus I’m really sorry but if I’m there for skincare it would be nicer if staff had a better physical presentation themselves.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a young lady who helped me with foundation concealer and perfume. She was soooo knowledgeable and helpful. No more $15.95 and under products. I never spent 90 bucks on foundation but she convinced me to try it out. It was 100% worth every penny.

It's a good place. Located at the intersection of Bloor and Bay, a very popular place for shopping in the downtown Toronto. Following physical distancing and cleanliness strictly. Good varieties of brand product. I bought few men facial products and they were of good quality.

Just like any makeup or skincare lover this store is heaven for me. I love the selection of brands and the fact that you can test thinks in store or ask for a sample before making a purchase.

I also really appreciate the return policy, I have never had any problems returning a product (especially in this location).
Some time you can experience some real bad customer service because some staff are pretty rude and have attitude and quite judging but other than that I highly recommend this location!

It's really a hit and miss when it comes to customer service at Sephora Bloor Street. My most recent purchase last week involved me having to hunt down employees to help me with finding a couple of products and getting a foundation sample. All the employees seemed to be busy speaking with one another rather than offering assistance. I asked one sales rep for a sample of foundation (mind you, I also had over $100 worth of products in my basket) and she annoyingly told me that they ran out of sample containers and told me to come back in a few days. It was her attitude that was extremely unpleasant and unfortunately I did not catch her name. Then I went up to another associate named JADE and Jade was very pleasant and kind: she mentioned they are out of sample containers however she offered to put samples in a zip block bag. Not only was Jade much more pleasant, she actually offered a solution (the zip block bag). I wish all the associates were more like Jade. Then at check out, ALISHA was very negative. She did not say hello to me nor did she thank me when she handed me my purchase - in fact, she was looking at her associates beside her when she handed me my purchase and looked annoyed and bored to say the least. So it really is a hit and miss at this Sephora. Only come in if you know exactly what you want to get and don't have any expectations for customer service.

Last Christmas I received a gift. It was a gift pack containing 8 ATELIER Cologne samples and a post card. The post card had a listing of each of the 8 samples that I’d received and the option to pick one of them and redeem it in store at Sephora for a 30 ml container of the fragrance of my choice. The cost of this package of samples was close to $100. I went in yesterday to redeem at Sephora on Bloor. They only had one if the 8 options in store (not the one I had selected) in the correct size and I was invited to take it. When I said That wasn’t the one I wanted there were no other options provided. Instead I was invited to call Sephora customer service. I did. The woman I spoke to was very nice but after hearing my story invited me to select my choice of some free samples posted on the website! Seriously. When I told her I wasn’t satisfied with that option - remember the 8 samples I’d received cost close to $100.00 - she invited me to email their customer service line. I did that yesterday afternoon and have heard nothing back I feel as tho I’ve been the victim of a bait and switch. Charged $100.00 for 8 sample vials that they would give away for free. Unbelievable.

This place is splurge and if you love make-up and skin care you gonna get hooked. Nothing worog with drug store products but if you can spend the money go for it.
