Stop letting your south asain employees try to color match fair skin! It felt like she had never seen white skin before. She used the lightest shade which looked horrible and I explained that I wanted a shade that compliments my skin and not one that washes me out before I purchase the wrong shade. I went to another retailer and the dark skinned employee (I'm trying to make a point here) matched me perfectly.

Worst sephora I have ever been to. The workers to put it nicely are useless. Every single time I come into this store looking for something, I manage to ask around 4 employees before actually finding what i’m looking for. On the sephora website, it clearly says that certain products are in stock but when I go to ask an employee if they have it, they don’t even try to look for it or check the back. They immediately tell me “nope” and that’s it. This location seriously needs to reconsider who they have as staff currently because I have never seen more useless workers in my entire life.

This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. We approached four customer associates and the manager, who all promised to get back to us within 15 minutes. However, we ended up waiting for a whole hour without anyone assisting us. Even after an hour, when we reached out to the manager to express our frustration about not receiving any assistance, she informed us that we needed to wait an additional 15 minutes. They seemed to be prioritizing other customers over us. It was an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. "

I went in today looking for a primer for dry skin. Myra was the sweetest Sephora beauty adviser. She was so patient with me and helped me find the best primer for my skin type. She made my experience amazing during the Sephora savings event. If you ever need help from someone who cares about your shopping experience ask for Myra!

This is my favourite Sephora. I live in Durham but always come here because the staff are always so helpful and kind. Last night Uma helped me at the store. I was looking for a foundation shade match and Uma helped me find the most perfect shade match. I have always struggled to find the right shade because most brands make their darker shades too yellow or orange but Uma found the right shade for me and it’s perfect. For the first time I’m excited to wear foundation because it looks so good on my skin. It’s literally my skin tone in a bottle and blends so seamlessly. Thank you so much Uma.

Very bad experience from this branch of Sephora I never had this kind of bad experience from any other Sephora branches before. The staff were very very lazy and did not even lend their hand to help. I had to wait for 15minutes to know the price of a product and also one staff walked away when she saw me approaching her. Unprofessional staff and horrible service super disappointed.

I spent $360 at this place. I asked the person at Sephora who is supposed to be knowledgable which shampoo I spent $360 at this place. I asked the person at Sephora who is supposed to be knowledgable which shampoo would be best to keep the colour. I especially was concerned because I know red hair dye is easily washed out and I wanted to get shampoo to protect it. I spent $30 on this product. After the first wash it has stripped out over half of the colour that was remaining in my hair. My own shampoo did nowhere near the kind of damage that this product did. I got my hair dyed professionally and cost me $200. Your shampoo cost me $30 and cost me half of my hair dye on top of that. This has been a terrible experience, and I will never go to the Sapore ever again and I will definitely never ever listen to any of the recommendations that any of the people employed by the joke of a store. I honestly feel like you guys owe me a refund for the shampoo and some money for my hair. Never ever come to this Sephora I am unaware if the other places are any better. After this Terrible and costly experience. I doubt I will ever come back to any Sephora. Literally thanks for nothing.

I’ve been to this location 4 different times in the last month and each time my experience has been negative. It looks like there are a lot of employees working but when you ask them for help, no one wants to help. I’ve waited around for 20-30 mins each time until someone would assist me but I always end up leaving because I receive no service.

There were 2 staff in different departments that were so welcoming and helpful! The perfume section- He was so nice. And Ansa was a delight. She was very helpful and quickly knew where to navigate me to the items I wanted. It made my experience very enjoyable!

Customer service is DEAD and nonexistent here. First and last time we will step foot in this location. Waited over 30 minutes and asked over 4 times for assistance. The old lady kept on shrugging us off and telling us someone would come, no one ever did. She refused to take 2 minutes to hear us out and helped everyone else around us. I lived in Scarborough my entire life and grew up in this mall. Miracle Mart days.looks like the mall was upgraded with more options but the people working there were downgraded to ignorant, rude, uneducated types. What a disgrace to the human race!

They follow people around (they think discretely) or come and say hi to just stand around near because they think you're stealing when you're literally just walking around shopping and looking at things with ZERO intention of stealing. This happens to me all the time at the Scarborough Town Centre location and Eaton Centre, sometimes others and I am a visible minority so idk if its that or something else but its very uncomfortable and makes me never want to enter this location again.

I would advise the owner of this location to apply stricter standards of service and care towards their staff members. Many staff members were literally lazily running away from us rather than answering our questions regarding products, took an unreasonable amount of time to send for help - leaving us standing in the middle of the store until closing time even though we were informed 10mins. Finally, and most absurdly - they closed down the cash register at exactly closing time when they knew customers were in the store and we were in the store for over an hour and were only late on our purchase due to them taking too much time to send an associate to colour match us! They are in such a rush to finish their jobs and go home rather than making a good impression on customers and providing good service.

Horrible location. Staff seem to either view with suspicion as if you are a shoplifter or don’t bother to look your way. I saw this gentleman trying to ask the lady at the perfume section something and she looked at him like he was wasting her time and was beneath her. Yes the gentleman was a bit shabbily dressed but that is no way to treat a potential customer. And the way she explained to him was so rude. He simply said thank you and walked away. And he looked so hurt. Found out later that it was the store manager. As I asked a helpful employee (a rarity) who she was. She shrugged and said the manager is a bit haughty. “But what can I say, she’s the store manager “ and she gave a resigned smile.
I was supposed to buy my girlfriend a gift card but seeing the attitude of the manager and most employees, i decided not to patronise this store. Instead I drove all the way to fair view mall where I got a much better experience and employees who were genuinely interested in serving customers.

Had a fun visit today, where the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the kind of makeup we wanted. We got great suggestions as to which brand and product type would suit us, and the associate was kind enough to look up the ingredient list for us. Another of the associates put my teenage daughter at ease when her dad, my husband, was doing his best to embarrass her. This location always has great people working there.

The blackbird security - 050530 batch number stopped my friend and accused her that she stole a basket of Sephora. This is frustrating and disrespectful. And we counted the items on the cash counter everything was there. He humiliated her. And he kept on accusing her even after checking the cameras.
The worst part was they know she didn’t picked anything! They treated her like she is a victim! It’s her b’day month! And she get so upset because of such a bad behaviour!

My favourite location, as associates working here have ALWAYS GONE ABOVE & BEYOND helping customers! I've been shopping at this location for 9 years, for most of my required products. There is one gentleman here (Sorry forgetting his name), but he has always been so exceptionally kind and helpful with my purchases, and ordering my required devices for me online. Many other associates that I interacted with, they are all kind, patient, knowledgeable. I wish I could give this place a million stars.

Amazing experience at this location past 10+ years Fathima in particular is customer oriented, took her time to explain different shades from other alternative brands as one particular shade I came in for was recently discontinued. All the ladies working there are super friendly and make the customer at ease and not made to feel pressured to purchase immediately.

I have been shopping at Sephora for decades. This location is by far the worst. The most racist staff possible. Firdows has immense attitude and is a total “wannabe”. The manager is useless and scared of her own staff. Never shopping at this location

It’s a Sephora in a high traffic mall, not much to expect. Getting help is incredibly hard, LP passes more frequently than staff, and if it’s a busy season the lines are horrible. That being said, anytime I’ve called in for help or got to the register - I’ve gotten exactly what I needed. Probably not the best Sephora for calmly browsing but it gets the job done.

I was fortunate to have encountered Krystal from the Benefit Brow Bar at Sephora Scarborough Town Centre. She was so professional, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about everything that I asked about. I was equally impressed by her make-up - it looked flawless and it looked exactly like the perfect photos of the best beauty influencers on social media. Worst experience ever, considering it was my first time, so I left.

It has a vast range of products in make-up and skincare. There are associates available to help out if one needs guidance in choosing the correct products for their skin. During sales or holidays, Sephora is extremely busy. Be prepared to wait to be attended, if help is needed, and also wait in the billing queue.

I went in today after work to get my nars foundation as I just finished mine. There was no stock left in the shelf so I went to ask a worker there if she can check for me at the back possibly. Before I even finished my question, she interrupted me and told me they don’t have any sample containers. I don’t recall asking for a sample though. I wasn’t pleased with the fact that she just assumed I’m coming for a sample when in fact I just wanted to see if they had the product in stock.

Their managers Reshma, Tracy and Chicara completely dismissed me with this problem! I bought this product the day before from another Sephora location which is far from my home- i found this inside after I got home- someone had stuck in an empty sample jar inside the product’s box. I went to this location- my home location and explained that someone had done this and I had only noticed it after opening it at home. They refused to help me and asked me to travel all the way back to the other location which is impossible for a busy-mom-of-3, cost of babysitting would have exceeded the cost of the product by several folds! Lesson learned: always check the product inside the box before you buy. AND: save your dignity- don’t go to this location where staff (managers!) look at you like you’re trying to turn a profit- they said that security cameras must be investigated where I made the purchase and I MUST be present there before they can prove that I am not the one who did it! Unbelievable, never felt so belittled. Luckily I solved the problem over the phone with the original location.

This location is really frustrating for me. I understand that is is a very busy mall, but I truly think they need more staff here. While the staff are friendly and helpful, I find that it's really hard to get ahold of someone to come help you. Every employee is constantly busy with a customer, running back and forth between the stock room and front displays, or simply at cash. I promise I'm not being unreasonable here, because when it takes over 25min (on multiple occasions) to just get someone to help you with a pouring a sample, it can get pretty frustrating.

This is my go to Sephora on a normally basis since I live right by the mall. I booked an skin fit appointment for Sunday morning at 11 am. The email clearly stated “Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in with a Sephora Associate” and so I did at 10: 50. I understand on Sunday the mall opens at 11 but your windows are made of glass and I am clearly in eye contact with 5 employees who choose to completely ignore me. One could’ve simply opened the door just to ask why I’ve been standing there for almost 3 mins! Or fix the email to reflect that I should come at opening if I am the first appointment of the day! It was super frustrating and embarrassing and honestly if I didn’t wait so long to book the appointment for Sunday I would’ve just cancelled it then and there and left!

Terrible customer service experience! I haven't been to the mall in quite some time and remembered I had not picked up my birthday gift as it was an extremely busy month. I walked in my next visit and was met by a rude staff member at cash who told me "do you know your birthday was a month ago, make sure you pick it up then next time" as she was looking at my account. My apologies was the gift coming out of her pocket? Was it that big of an inconvenience I came to pick up something I am entitled to. For starters not only am I a VIB member but stuff happens. I am more than aware when my birthday is and I shouldn't be met by such a rude encounter for no reason.

Cashier Maz, spoke to me absolutely disrespectfully right beside her store manager on the other cash.her customer service was pathetic.these are the employees you are hiring? And the manager is allowing it.she was speaking to all clients as if she was miserable.she didn’t let me know how many points i had or ask if i would like to redeem any of them. ON TOP i wasn’t aware i was $40 away from VIB ROUGE.had i been told i would’ve purchased something else but guess not.completely dissatisfied.only purchased at the store because i ran out of my benefit eyebrow pencil, but will continue going to other locations even if they’re out of the way or just plain ordering online.should be fired.

I was given a birthday present from Sephora by my sister, she forgot to get Gift recipe so she handed me the original recipe! I took the original recipe and brand new items that was purchased 3 days prior to Scarborough town center location to EXCHANGE! Montana (manager) said absolutely Not! She explained that she would be integrated by loss prevention if she exchange them for some other products! SO NOT TRUE! I called customer service and the answer was that was her judgment call not to help me! Terrible customer service and poor judgement call!

Seems like a great store, however I left the store feeling as if my $3 shoppers brand cream was severely inadequate.
Who knew there were so many different types of cream, or eye shadow or perfume. Just when you think you have learned all that you can about items you didn't know you needed/existed.bam they have rows of wonderful little items waiting for you as you line up to check out.
Overall I would 10/10 recommend not going to this store with your girlfriend.
