Went in past 10 am to update my SIN numbrt, got out by 10: 20 am. Staff are very fast and efficient! Highly recommend this centre!

Great attending! My husband and I went there this week in the afternoon, the staff was very friendly and we didn't have to wait longer to be attended.

Really quick service today. Not a long wait and I was in and out in no time. Lots of people lined up but no worries. Still a busy location. Great accessibility with the location.

SIN renewal May 19 (Friday).
Got there around 9: 10am with about 14 people before me and others sitting in the waiting area. Left just before 10am.
Everyone was helpful, I was lucky to be helped by Askirant (I hope that is the accurate spelling) who was clear, calm and patient. Thank you so much!

P. S.for SIN renewals be sure to have your previous SIN number with you in addition to other needed documents

I had a very positive experience there. Went for a passport application with an appointment, arrived at 12: 45 was done by 1: 15. Yvette, who submitted my application, was very nice and explained everything very nicely. I definitely recommend this centre.
As an additional note, their washrooms were clean.

Went here at 9: 30AM to apply for a passport. All the staff was polite and efficient. I didn't have an appointment but was in and out within half an hour, including the time spent waiting in line.

The worst! Don’t bother coming to this location. You will stand in two lines, one outside the building then another inside service Canada. They have only one person attending to every single person who needs none passport services. Very disappointing, never coming back to this location again. Service Canada do better!

Horrible experience.
1st time i came here I waited for 1 hour (outside in the cold) and half an hour inside then they told me to do my papers online, needless to say it didnt work properly. 2nd time i waited in the line in the freezing cold this morning for 30 minutes just for them to tell me after that half hour that they are closed. Sending me to a different location.it's true what they say, the less these people do, the less they want to do. Such a waste of time to come here.

I lined up at 8: 25am, there were around 30 people in front of me. And I got in around 8: 50 and received my sin number at 9: 15am. The staff were friendly and nice

Had a great experience today. Was here to extend the validity of my SIN. Arrived at 7: 15. There was already 15-20 people lined up. Luckily for me only about 4-5 to get SIN. They started to call people in for SIN at 7: 30. I was out by 7: 45. So 30 min for me incl.waiting.

Worst service canada experience ever. Booked appointment on Dec. 5, when i reached there, they told me it's closed and don't know when to reopen. They should let us know one day before. Or automatically cancel our appointment and email us. Not tell us when everyone is arrived there. Waste my time. Never visit again

Service Canada passport renewal requires photos in ADVANCE of arrival. Doesn't say that anywhere on their website. You would think it would be the same as Service Ontario who has photo capabilities at their centres. Make it clear.

This whole process to get my passport renewed since arriving at 730am (1 hr before they open) has taken me over 3hrs and forced me to cancel meetings. I was giving a priority line bypass because I needed to come back with passport photos. It was not a line bypass. I had to wait a full hour to be seen.

Awful experience that could have been resolved with clear communication on their website!

Came to receive SIN. Queue was around 20-30 people, on the street. That day there was a heavy snowfall and quite cold, but still all should be waiting outside, people were not suggested to come inside and wait in more-less comfortable conditions, though there is a lot of space inside which easily could fit all waiting visitors. I was waiting for my turn around 50 min, felt bad after and got a bad flue. No one cares about people health there.
I believe attitude to visitors must be changed.

Absolutely terrible service. We went there on Monday November 28 and the person at the door told us to return on Wednesday November 30 because they were having technical issues.

Today, November 30, I went there again with my wife at 8: 00 in the morning like we were instructed to do, and after waiting in the cold rain for 20 minutes two members of the staff came out to yell at us, telling us we couldn't wait in line and that we needed to learn how to read the sign at the door saying they were out of service (the same sign that was there on Monday).

It's fine if the place is closed, but there's absolutely no need to yell in our faces in such a rude and thoughtless way. They also assumed we didn't know the language, even after we made it clear that the only reason we were there in the first place today is because they told us to come back; they kept telling us to leave in an unnecessarily loud and slow voice.

The staff also got really rude when we said they were the ones who told us to return on Wednesday, they kept asking for the name of the person who told us to return and they insisted this person didn't know what they were talking about (even though they were a Service Canada employee).

As a newcomer to Toronto this deficient service was really disheartening. We didn't feel treated with respect, and we got a terrible first impression of Service Canada.

The line moves 5-7 people an hour I can’t tell if this service canada is extremely understaffed or if every visitor has a 40+ minute issue.

Book an appointment or be prepared to wait for long!
Went on a Monday and had to wait 6 hours to get inside! If you're planning to go, would suggest to dress or take plenty of warm clothing with you along with snacks / battery packs to pass the time.

Bad service, I was in the rain for 3 hours and then they told us that they would not come any more until 3: 30 in the afternoon,

It was also sad to see that the guy with the bike was there for 3 hours too and his paperwork had to be done in another office (you serve Ontario) ?

Super slow, super busy with long long line.
I was waiting in the line from 10: 30 AM until 4 PM which is 5 and half hours but I couldn't even go inside. It was 4 PM sharp and there were only 3 people ahead of me that they closed the doors and didn't answer people after that.
I'm not sure how many agents did they have but the processing was super slow because it took least 10-15 minutes to someone come out of the exit door.
We even couldn't book appointments because they were full booked for next 2 months.

Worst place if you need to do anything.
You need to wait many hours until they let you in, if they will actually.
And at 4 pm, no matter how many people are still waiting, they will close the door.
They let in for about 1-2 persons per 30 minutes. That's insane.

Be ready to wait in the cold for 5 hour to get helped. I recommend bringing a foldable chair, urinal, and pack up your breakfast and lunch.

Requested for appointment online, staff called my phone from a private number. They called for one second and then hang up. Their policy is that if no answer the first time they will call again the next day, on the next day my phone ringed for 1 second and they hang up again. They just want to pretend they called you and the job is done. Since they called from a private number you can't even call them back. So now i have to do walk in and line up for 5 hours, i was there 8 in the morning, left at 1: 30.

If I could give negative, I ll be giving full negative points.
Reached 8: 15am in the morning on Monday and waited outside in the cold for almost 6hours. The whole process for sin took only 15mins but the waiting time is brutal. Why don't they allow people have a seat inside or have an electronic queues so that ppl can wait else where warm not out cold standing.
The whole process and building and system is very laid back and not up to the standard that I m expecting at all.
Very bad experience I ll say.

I would rate 0-star if I can. They took like so long to process each person and people are literally freezing in the waiting line. Approximately the wait time is 2 hours outside in the cold…. Horrible for a government office to only have like 6 people working…

Terrible customer service! You are required to wait outside, regardless of the weather, for hours! I waited for 2h and gave up since it was -8°C and my feet could stand the cold. The waiting line barely moves, and there are only 6 people inside per time. On top of that, the security guards are rude and do not help any further. Service Canada needs a booking system for in-person appointments ASAP.

Book an appointment or come 30-40 minutes prior opening.
- for sin number bring your study and if co-op work permit with your original passport.
- those two documents required easy in and out process.
- keep your postal code ready at all times with your phone number.
- staff is super nice apart from front desk lady which gives you white slip to fill.

I woke up early to find a place in the long line and all the time praying and asking God to make it a good day, at last it was my turn to enter, and the closer my turn came to the interview, the more my heart beats, as if I was making a mistake, but its the other way around, My name is misspelled at the Canadian Embassy in Cairo, I have an ID with my photo, all the info, but wrong last name, I want my name back, but I only got the approval on terms I am trying to fulfill within two months. Finally my name was called office No. 5 and I went to him and I am still praying to God, he is a good looking young man, may God have mercy, and bless him, check my papers carefully, He corrected many things and mistakes and attached papers to a request to get my name back, that was a mistake from Service Egypt, I really felt that God sent him to help me get my name back. ARMAN, how can I ever thank you, the first time I would like to thank anyone other than God in public, on the internet too

Went on a Tuesday morning. Waited outside for about one and a half hours, so be prepared. Once you get inside is only 6 or so people waiting.

I am giving them 3 stars because they are asking people to wait outside in the cold and rain. Once inside, the only people you will see are the security staff, 2, and the workers of Service Canada. There is ample space to put chairs, properly spaced apart, while people wait their turn. I understand we are still in a pandemic, everyone inside and outside in line wore their masks properly and sanitized their hands when told to but if we can take public transit and sit in spaced seating I don't see why we can't do the same here. Ceilings are high and it seemed ventilated. If you are planning on visiting this location, please dress for the weather!

I didn't even make it inside the building this trip before turning back. Waiting in line outside while there is extremely loud construction next door? No thank you. I hated this experience.

Can’t believe how inefficient these people are! Just writing the review standing in the line outside. It’s been about 2 hours waiting to get my work done, apparently 5 counters working at the moment and just 1, one single person moved ahead to go inside! It’s a shame! Very very disappointing!

Absolutely disgusting service at the entry wait line from the security staff. They are extremely rude to people waiting. You do not shout at people and you certainly are not allowed to yell at people saying "I better not see people passing a line". This security guard definitely felt authoritative doing this; shameful to have happened at a place newcomers to our country are getting there initial papers done and have to witness these acts. Definitely not a great impression.

I would make sure to onboard some customer service protocols and measures for the security staff handling wait lines. Could replacing staff with the current third party commissioned companies taking lead on lineups be a solution?

A smile to start would work, followed by a please and thank you, the standing wait time can go up to 3 hours outside. I saw this first hand while waiting in line, this luckily didn't happen to me.
