If I could give 0 stars I would. This location has the rudest older woman I’ve ever encountered in a customer service role. She made a lady wait OUTSIDE IN THE COLD even though she had an infant in a stroller! Then she barked at me, “What are you here for? ” When I told her she snapped, “Well, you can’t just walk in here, you need to have a time to speak with someone! ” There were no signs with this info and her rudeness was overwhelming so I decided to go to the Kitchener location where I was treated with kindness and respect! I related my experience to the staff in Kitchener and they knew who I was talking about right away. I will not return to the Cambridge location again and I will encourage everyone to go elsewhere too. They should not have that older woman serving the public at all. She is toxic.

I visit their to extend my sin number and it was so bad experience receptionist was so rude

Seriously this is service canada service as, only 4 counters are available inside to serve the people as, I do not understand if government knows that population of the Cambridge is increasing than why they are hiring more employees. People have to wait outside and inside forever such a sleepy and careless system in Cambridge.

Their service hours are until 4. If you go in anytime after 3 they turn you away. Regardless of if your forms are filled out.

Don’t worry though you can book an appointment 2 months from now!

Most if not all of the employees that help with the customers have an attitude towards you. And no mater how broke you are if you don't reach requirements you still don't get anything and they just leave it at that and not try to help you out with you situations.either fix the system or get rid of it cuz like what the point then.

The staff are decent and they mean well. Some circumstances are out of their control.

Slow service and can’t meet deadlines.

The staffs where super helpful and I got my SIN number in exactly after 10 mins of entering the office.

If you show up with ALL of the right documents, your experience will be smooth. I had 5 passports to process. There was NO wait the day I went, the staff including the people at the front who greeted me were extremely delightful. I would 100% recommend coming to this location. Thank you for making this experience nothing but amazing. Props to the staff, you're doing a great job!

I went there January to renew my passport and was told they have 10 people capacity and they ask me wait outside in the cold winter weather and would not even allow me wait between outside their office and the outside door.

Very kind and patient security guard and front desk people. We did not have an appointment and only waited an hour. Therese was really helpful to me and effiecent.
PS. If you want your passport expidited you cannot do that here

They had everyone waiting outside in the cold rain, everyone said something as time went by (lots of time” and they did not care, there was elderly people and support people that were sent away because of “capacity limit”
It’s March 2022…
I asked security if we some people can wait in the first doorway as no one was in there and it was a big space and they said no.
This is disgusting to me and everyone that was there but what choice do we have but to wait …
Even a lady that had an appointment had to wait outside for a while …
And all for what? They had 3 security guards.for what?

My four-month-old baby should get some sort of award for waiting two hours at Service Canada and not making any noises (baby). Especially since two (three total but one had an appointment), people got to butt in front of us. No reason was given from the workers as to why they would serve them first, despite us checking in before them. Thank goodness he was in a great mood. Or else it would have been hell. Man, Passport Canada needs to let everyone applying for one to come in. I never had to wait that long before at Passport Canada. In and out within 15 minutes at most.

Other than that, workers were friendly, but PLEASE make sure you have everything you need, and the forms are filled out PROPERLY. Not only is it frustrating for the workers, but for us waiting as well. It took one worker an hour to work on two adult passport applications because the people applying filled out the whole application completely wrong (read the instructions, folks).

Overall, this location is better than the Fredrick street, Kitchener ON location. I'd come back here before EVER going back to Kitchener Service Canada.

I had a horrible experience with Therese. She is very rude and umpolite.
It was the second time that I have a bad experience with her.
I really think that she needs retire urgently.she can't work with people.

The agent Therese helped us for our paper. Our experience with her was more than terrible. It’s the worst experience we have ever find in service Canada. When I greet her with hello, her answer was rude. We felt so insult when we came here in service Canada, Cambridge. She should not be here for harassing other people as other people have commented the same for her.

This office is now located at 299 Hespeler Rd in the Raffi Jewelers building. The agent there named Tracy resolved my issue and was wonderful to deal with. Yes, there may be a wait due to covid, but that shouldn't be a suprise.

My experience was an all over 5 stars. The security guy was really nice and made me feel welcome. Would 100% recommend.

Overall my experience was bad here! I went three time for walk in service! Poor customer service as Staff is very slow! They are taking more than 20 minutes to serve one customer! They guys needs to be fast!

My experience at service canada Cambridge was really awfully, the guard was polite but the lady who’s dealing with me was really rude. I came all the way just to get disappointe. Really bad! Didn’t expect this.

I give one star since I couldn't put 0. The agent named Therese who helped me was very rude and asking personal questions which was not supposed to be asked. She was raising her voice on me, where I kept silent and felt so bad in my heart. She made me feel insulted for the way I talk. I felt so horrible. And at the end she was like throwing my documents on my face and saying rudely " you can go" and never even waiting to hear my Thanks and walked away on me from her counter.
It was a terrible experience and I felt like crying. Hope she doesn't act like this to others.

Please update your online information to state you are not currently open. If you need a passport and are not travelling within the next 30 days - mail (recommend courier) is your only option. Travel within 30 days, phone your closest passport office and book an appointment.

The person helping me was very understanding of my dilemma. She helped me out not once but the second time I came back as I had screwed up.

Amazing experience. Everyone was so polite and professional. Got my work done within 20-25 minutes even in COVID situations and they have so many preventive measures to stay safe.
