Got here at 08: 10am and they opened at 8: 30am. I was in and out within less than hour. I’m so glad I came early because the line started to pile up and the line was longer.

The staff were really nice and friendly. I was treated well and my questions were answered.

For passport application: it’s 25 days instead of the 10 days at the actual passport office.

I opted for this option because I’m not in a rush.

Friday feb 2, arrived at 7: 45, was the 3rd in line. By 8: 30 there were about 20 people, line up is all indoors, not in the cold. 8: 30 doors open, i was in right away, passport renewed in under 15mins. Dont get mixed up with the immigration line which is much longer, passport line is left in the large glass area of building near the coffee shop

Very organized and very friendly staff. Went to renew passports and Lori made the entire process easy.

Came here on a Friday afternoon and left very satisfied with the service. No lines, efficient staff

My husband and I went there for applying for husband's OAP, and CPP.
One of offic staff her name is cibelle who explained nicely, clearly and slowly so we understood easily even our English is poor. She made us really happy. Thanks cibille, God bless you!

I had an excellent experience at Etobicoke's Service Canada office. The staff provided fast, efficient service and explained the passport process thoroughly. Their dedication and knowledge were impressive, and I'm highly satisfied. Kudos to Julia for being an amazing professional.

A great experience! I went with my friend to get his new passport so that he could travel a month from now.
We got there around 8: 20am and there were a 8 people ahead of us. Surprisingly, we were met with a person as soon as the doors opened at 8: 30am.
She was more than helpful, especially when met with a few complications-I won’t get into that ‘cause this review will be way too long lol.
Even with those complications, we were out the door by 9: 20am.

The service was great, the person that helped us was amazing, her name is Cibelle btw. She was patient, kind, and more than willing to give us a helping hand by offering solutions to resolve our problem the same day. Which it was.
Definitely recommend going to this location!

Excellent service by Service Canada! (Dundas street office)
We went there for getting our Social Insurance Number (SIN). The process was very smooth. Well guided by Dinesh at the front desk and the staff in counter number 1. We got our SIN number in 15 minutes.

Great customer service and has quick service! I was able to get 2 passport applications processed within 45min without an appointment. I really appreciated how personable the agent that helped me was. Jennifer was great to speak with

Friendly faces. Go over and above expectations to help. In and out in 5 minutes. Will definately use this office again. Thank you all!

Is inside the building on first floor and its the first one to come on that floor.

Crown Jewel of service in Canada in terms of Service Canada; and trust me, I've seen questionable treatment in other Service Canada locations; but when you come here, from the entrance until the work is done, you'll be treated with courtesy and respect.
First time in my life dealing with Service Canada, my appointment was honored; I didn't have to wait more than 5 mins in waiting before I was serviced. The lady (Desk 3?) was amazing, she was very courteous, polite and helpful!

Quick important notes:
Parking: Parking entrance is a the back of the building, enter it from the back, using Subway Crescent Road! DO NOT try to find parking in nearby TTC, it'll be a waste of time. You have to take the ticket with you and pay it inside the lobby (scan/pay, newer machine). You can use back door to enter the lobby, very easy to find.

Entrance: At the lobby, at the front, ask the lady/gent at the door that you have an appointment, he/she will help you skip the line

Washroom entrance is near the security guy.b.

Experience at this service centre was so smooth.
Right from the Security at the entrance to the initial agent Natasha, to Lori who processed our SIN was so kind and helpful.
Lori especially went above and beyond to give us tips on how to get started! Highly recommend this Centre!

Came here for my passport. The employees were very nice and accommodating. The nicest government workers I’ve ever dealt with.

I should have written this back in October 2020 but got busy with stuff. I went there to renew my SIN and the officer named Ranjan at the entrance tried to put false allegations on me as he suspected me to be a person who didnt quarantine after returning from my home country. He got suspicious because I didnt renew my sin for almost 9 months as I was stuck In India for lockdown. I was in India before covid started and I was bound to travel back by the end of march but lock down stopped me from travelling back to Canada. Although, I understood the officer's concern that I might be carrying a virus. To help him outgrow his concern I showed him the boarding pass and passport stamp of the date which I entered canada and it clearly showed I arrived a bit more than a month ago. He never wanted to listen and started profiling me saying i mightve forged the information and raised voice. (he was very nice to the white lady infront of me with his tone) I demanded the manager to come as I knew my rights. The manager came (the man tried to lie to the manager that I came to service Canada without quarantining) and put him in his place saying he had no rights to question me for evidence (inspite of it I provided him with enough evidence, including the address I quarantined at). Is it just me or is it true that brown people dont like each other especially when they are abroad.

Arrived at 730AM and was already 26th in line so had to wait outside. Service relatively takes 20mins but there are many people so prepare to wait. Arrive as early as you can. I left at 10AM (2.5hours all in all)

Excellent location and friendly staff. Well organized queue. I was there at the location @7: 45 and came out by 9: 10 am for child passport service. I was 9 in line at 7: 45. I didn’t expect everything to go smooth considering the people reviews about other locations in mississauga and Brampton. But at this place I was in and out less than 40 mins.

The staff in side are very good people, only the security guy was very in polite, rude and not helpful. They are very rude when asking to check the documents, but what they are doing it for? ! I waisted 3h of my time and only when I got inside they saw mistake on my document that I could not indicate before. As well they told me to go to the airport that did not help me because airport works only with arrivals. As well security, this woman is impolite and do not know about manners and how to speak with people at all.

Got there at 9am, and there was already a line outside the door. Didn't end up getting in the building until about 12 30pm and didn't actually get seen until 2pm. I just needed to change the name on my SIN, and they actually did it fairly quickly, ~10mins or so and everything was all done. Staff are nice. It was cold outside so I think they should let more people line up inside, because it was ridiculous having to wait for about 3 and a half hours in the cold. The only reason it gets 3 stars is because my problem got solved quickly and again, the staff were nice. My advice: get there EARLY.

We went to this office for applying SIN, they made us stand outside in such a cold weather when everyone was freezing outside and they had enough space to accomodate more people inside.the worst part was the security guard she was so rude with everyone.

I’m very impressed by the service at this location. I was here today to apply for SIN number for one of my colleague. We got here by 2: 30 pm and we were around 20th number in line, and got in by 3: 20 pm. (Walk in)
The whole process inside took less than 10 minutes in total. Line moves really fast. Security guard was also very helpful. Staff members are also very nice inside and very quick and hustle free service.

Overall, I had excellent experience at this location. This location is little far from Brampton but I will say it is worth to go there rather than wasting your time by going to Brampton locations and getting nothing.

Don't be surprised by the long line if you come at 9 am. It took me 90 minutes to get in. After that you are greeted and handled by a professional staff that is knowledgeable and helpful. Time spent inside is 10 to 15 minutes. Just come early whether you need passport or a sin.

I went here for SIN no. Took appointment through their website. Got a call & representative booked my appointment 8: 30 am. I went there 8: 25am… they allow walk-in as well but appointment one will be priority.
Over all process completed in 15 min

I’m very impressed by the efficiency of the staff at this location. I was here today (Jan 28) to apply for a new SIN number. I got here early at 8: 15 am and I was third in line, and got in by 8: 35 am (they open at 8: 30 am). The whole process inside took less than 15 minutes in total. I see some comments about the security staff, but I found them to be alright. I was waiting for my Uber inside the building after my appointment (my mistake), but the security staff was polite when he asked if I could wait between the 2 front doors.

Overall, I had a very good experience getting my SIN here for the first time.

Service was to the point, especially the behaviour of security lady was way too polite. Officers took 5 minutes to assign me SIN number. Thank you team.

The whole office is amazing. The staff is just superb and so polite. I loved being in this centre.

Showed up nice and early, 7: 45,45 mins before it opened. Fourth in line, the guard was friendly, let me in and waited. When I had my name called and went to the little cubicle I had, by far, the nicest Service Ontario or Canada Person that I've ever met. It was 8: 30 on a Monday morning and Danielle was so nice and helpful. Really friendly and polite. Is it possible to reserve interactions with people instead of walk in? Because I doubt there's many so nice.

Only 5-6 people left hardly and these guys closed the office by 4pm atleast they should finish the 5-6 people because they are waiting from a long time.

I had a good experience here.wait time was normal as any other government office. I was there to obtain my SIN, Ashish was very helpful and easy to talk to.staff seemed very friendly.

This place is right inside the building where people get their Permanent Residence at IRCC office. The lineup for the people applying for SIN would be like 50 people long But they have only one person doing SIN numbers. Keep extra 2 hours for this purpose. I got to the top of the line after waiting 1.5 hours and the person working just closed the office door and left. Do not waste your time waiting here. Go to a different location.

I've never had such a positive experience at a gov't office before. I came when it was pretty slow so I'm sure that helped, but both the person at the welcome desk and my agent were very friendly, engaging, helpful, and treated you like first-class human beings; it seemed their interactions with other people were much the same. It was truly a positive experience and genuinely shocked me, considering my usual interaction with gov't offices and their understandably stressed-out staff. Well done Service Canada:)

Employees there are soo nice and so helpful and trying to exhaust all the resources they've got to help you out with any problems with your whatever documents, supporting documents.yesterday I went there to resolve some issues and I don't know his name (he was african background), he called that specific employee at some other department on behalf of the issues and resolved that issues on the spot. I was so impressed by his service and the way he was truly concerned about out issues.very rare nowadays.on the side note: he should work in mental industry.cause he seems to be very conscious + not repressive and people like him are much needed in mental industry.

Avoid this office, worth customer service. Visited the office three times and every time the same lady made mistakes and I had to come back again. Zuhr provided wrong information but he thinks that he is very professional. Spent hours for nothing.

I went in yesterday and after waiting 15 mins I was helped by Ashish. Very knowledgeable and you can tell he takes pride in his job. Unlike most government employees just wasting hours to get a pay cheque.
I would recommend this location to anybody looking to have a worry free experience.

Great staff at this location! Had a really good experience with Ashish, who was a big help in getting my inquiry addressed quickly. I was also very fortunate to have my SIN processed by Jemalle. Thank you all for making the process of extending my SIN so easy!

Before I went, I read all the reviews. Some of the reviews were so critical, so I expected bad experiences. To my surprise, my experience there turned out to be pretty smooth. Yes, there was a bit of wait and the waiting room was crowded, but, at the reception desk, I was told roughly how long was the waiting.
The person received my case was Ranjan K.who was very knowledgeable about his work. My whole case took only 11 minutes, then I was out of there. When I expressed my compliments to his excellent work, he was very modest. He told me that his team leader Jemalle C.taught them how to work hard to help the citizens in need of Service Canada. Kudos. Please keep up the good work.

Some of worst service I've ever had. They made me wait 2 hours and people who showed up after me were getting through.

Wow! This was my best experience in a government office, I actually enjoyed it. Friendly people, the service was amazing. I was greeted by Ashish, who looked through my documents and was very helpful, and with a smile, you could tell he really likes his job and helping people. I only waited for 20 minutes for Peter

Peter looked after me, reason for going to Service Canada was to complete my dad's documents after his passing. Peter was so wonderful and compassionate. He was quick, complete all that had to me done and also with a smile. Peter is another person that takes his job seriously and is fantastic at it.

Fast service, the wait was less than 5 minutes, the person that I spoke to was really nice and friendly.
I was so defensive as the information lady wasn’t friendly at all (like every government office that I’ve been to), but once I was called the service was great!

Ashish helped me get a SIN for my son and he was very friendly and helpful. Service was very quick.

Best government service I’ve ever had - Efficient & pleasant!
Went in for SIN# for my child at 9am on Friday before long weekend. Was in/out in less than 20 minutes so didn’t have to pay for parking.
The gentleman at the intake desk was efficient and pleasant, and the main agent that reviewed my docs and provided SIN# was one of the best customer facing individuals out there- friendly, respectful, very efficient and never made me feel like a number to process. Thank you and kudos to Zulf for his 10/10 service.

Idk where to start.
Walking in I just needed help with my EI application but I ended up with a discussed feeling about the place.
The attendant who served me (located right at the entrance) was a very nosey, annoying man who JUST NEEDS TO MIND HIS OWN BUSINESS.
Where am from, the language I speak, how long I have been in Canada or whether I have visited back home since landing is NO BUSINESS OF YOURS!
I tolerated that because I did not want to be rude.
Customer service should remain just that, not a time to get to know the customer on a "Personal level" or whatever.
Like do you job man! Ethics! Be professional in your place of work.

Worst customer service! Came with my mother to assist her and the lady was rushing and did not carefully explain anything there wasn't a line behind us and once we figured things out practically on our own she was still there at her desk looking around as if she was looking for something to do.

This is a government office. And thus should hire people who actually want to be there and isn't just another paycheck or paycheck with benefits.

As someone who works in customer service this experience was repulsive. Just before we got to the desk we were next in line just standing there for 5 min the other gentleman on the desk was busy at the time and the lady saw us and walked away telling her coworker she's going on her break.

When we got up to the desk the gentleman was much more helpful and informative and actually provided us with next steps.
