Just make sure you have all your papers and id's, and for proof of citizenship if not born in Canada, make sure you have your citizenship card, passport is not sufficient.

A very bad experience for past one month, firstly when I came to Canada on 23rd Aug, I forgot to take it from the airport, so I applied online and on 30th August I got an email saying that documents were not updated correctly, then I visited the service Canada office, they said there is some fault with my study permit, then I went to border security agency and got it rectified and again visit the service Canada, then they told me they can’t issue me SIN as I have applied online earlier and it got rejected so I have to wait for there call which they said it will come after 20 days, and it’s been over a month, and I still didn’t get a call from them and nor the service Canada office executives are helping me to get the SIN, it’s really frustrating for me, I can’t work as a part time due to this, when I called on there helpline they said, you can go in person and get your sin, but when I again visited there, they said it will done online, I don’t know what to do, , it’s the most worst frustrating experience one can go through, which was not even caused by me, the problem in study was there fault and even after rectification of the issue, I can’t get my SIN, I don’t know what to do, they say it will take months, I guess I would get graduated by then

I went to get my SIN number and it was very simple. The employees were very nice and I got my SIN number in just a few minutes

Quick & easy visit, was greeted as I walked in by the gentleman at the front desk and asked what I was there for, explained what they could or could not do. I waited maybe 4 minutes before being seen by a specialist, they reviewed what I had brought and explained in detail what I needed to do for an issue that was out of their hands, but ultimately solved my issue through the advice I received. Would recommend everyone bring a piece of unexpired Government issued ID & SIN card to have your needs serviced.

Went for passport application’s for myself and child. Very friendly, professional staff. *Helpful tips:
1. Book an appointment! We had our appointment booked at 0930hrs, we arrived a bit early and were seen within 10 mins of arriving.
2. They don’t take passport pictures here. You have to supply them yourself.

They decided to close 17 minutes early. It’s not bad enough that every single door is always locked and that it’s as inconvenient as hell to park down there. I paid money to park, lost my big screwdriver trying to run and pay for parking anticipating that they would close early. It’s the government. Anything Trudeau has to do with is a disaster. Imagine if Costco or Loblaws decided to close that early, it would be all over the news.

Went here to get my SIN.just be super early and ready yourself for a long queue outside.there’s no priority lane.even you’re pregnant, a person with disability or bringing a baby you have to line.i was pregnant and have to stand for hours outside in the cold weather.ended up going home because they can’t accommodate all of us.

I went on a busy day and the wait time was about an hour in the registration line up. But once you are seated it took another 30 mins. It wasn’t that bad considering how busy it was. I was missing an important document and they allowed me to go back home for it and return that same day. So I’d say the customer service is pretty good at this location.

The queue was long, I waited approximately 3 hours to get my SIN but people where very polite and helpful.

SO FAR MISS LEADING WITH INFORMATION AND MY CPP CHEQUE FOR DECEMBER IS ALREADY SPENT BEFORE SENT ON THE 21ST OF DECEMBER 2022

I would like to thank the lady that help my mom at the door and not letting her standing for a long in the line up outside, and wish if I know her name, but she was with the security team maybe standing at the door building. The Staffs were very helpful especially this lady. Thanks again.

Long que. Like it takes forever before someone will attend to you. Literally lazy people doing nothing and happy to see people waiting for a very long time. Poor public service I may say.
