I expressed to the worker who was submitting my passport that I need to pay the extra 50$ to get my passport faster. He kept telling me and my mum that no, we have been putting them out very fast. You'll get your passport within the 10 business days from December 14th (day we submitted my passport). So he only charged me for an adult passport (120$). And now here I am, almost 10 business days later and needing to apply for a visa in the next few days, and still no passport. Now I'm having to pay 110$ EXTRA to POSSIBLY. Get it on Friday, December 29th. I really liked how quiet it was there and how fast it was. So that's the reason for the 2/5. I am absolutely so disappointed and mad about how I could have just paid 170$ when I submitted my passport but now I might have to pay an EXTRA 110$ on top of the 120$ which equals to 230$. I guess the government really needs the extra money.

Applied for passports for my kids today (Tues, Nov 14). Arrived at 11: 30 am, left at 1: 15 pm. There was a full waiting room plus a line of ~20 people in front of me when I arrived. There were as few as 4 and as many as 10 booths open at any given time throughout my waiting period, presumably to accommodate breaks. Everything seemed well organized and professional. I would recommend this location.

UPDATE: Picked up the passports two weeks later, on schedule.

Went in thinking I would stay in line to get the passport but not only did I not have to wait, the staff was very nice and helpful

I was impressed by the service. Reached at 7.50 AM. Office opens at 8.30. By 8AM there were about 25 people behind me. Best time to reach is little before 8 AM about 8 people ahead of me. Staff was quick. All the counters had officers serving customers and line up was moving fast. I was out at 9.15. Very happy with the service and attitude of the staff. Keep it up.

People who helped me were great and polite and very helpful. It’s the process that makes no sense. They served one person at a time even though there we available staff. 4 behind the cubicles chatting and not working (def not on a lunch break which would be understandable). There is just no sense of urgency to get through the lines, they just don’t care. They walk around like zombies like they have all the time in the world.

Terrible waiting time and no indication of how long the wait is. Staff were friendly but clearly not motivated or properly managed to actually work. Often getting up moving around, chit chatting, etc. Don’t come anywhere an hour before or after lunch because they seem to take 1.5 hour lunches. They seemingly call 1 number at time as well even though there’s multiple staff. Very annoying for people that take time off work to get this done.

Wow our government employs people in areas they have no idea what they are doing, I guess no investment in training them properly so they can be efficient I just waited an hour 30 minutes to just drop off a record of employment the guy had absolutely no idea what to do with it at the end he told me to go home and he was going to give it to someone else to put it in the system just wow.

Waited in line for 2 hours in the hallway on the ground because they would not allow us to sit inside in the empty seating area. Severely understaffed so they were only taking 1 person into the office at a time. After 2 hours only about 10 people had gone in before we were told they were closing and no one else would be served. We were then told the best time to come is 7am (an hour and a half before it even opens!)

I showed up at 9am on a weekday. There was a line but it wasn't out the door. I did a walk in application for passports and was out by 10am. Everyone was polite and helpful.

We have been standing in line outside the store for over 1h and no one has moved yet. Looking through the window we could have at least sat on a chairs waiting for our number to be called instead of us here watching the empty chairs inside… Makes no sense. They need to be more organized.

Everybody working in this location are nice!

I got there 30 mins before the opening hour and there were about 20 people. I thought I might have to wait for a long time but everything (including the waiting time) was finished within an hour.

I want to give some advice, not on this location, but in being a human being:

I saw some entitled people absolutely treat some of those poor service workers with so poorly.they don't deserve it.i was there for a simple standard priority renewal and watched this lady get angry at herself for not understanding but tool it out on these public servants.incredible.lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on theirs.

BE PREPARED.

I wasn't.i had to spend extra time filling out forms. STILL IN AND OUT IN AN HOUR.

This unit moved to a new address and didn't notify who already have appointments booked for the old address. I only found out when I arrived for me appointment and it was too late to go to the new location.

After reading on official website, got to know that Meadowland (East) center is shifted here (Orleans).
Reached Orleans center at 7.30am there was only 1 person before me. By 8.30am when the office opened the queue grew to 20.
It took only 15mins for my work & I was out by 8.45am.
