I prepared all of my documents and needed absolutely none of them, apparently! I made an appointment, and it took longer for me to walk there than to actually get my photo card + health card renewed. Skip the line and book online, it'll make your life easier.

I don't know where to begin…I went here at 12pm lunch waited about 1 hour until I can get service. Once, I spoke with the agent asking for some help about my stolen license plate, they told me “fill out the form and come directly to my desk”. And so I completed the form went to the same agents desk and she told me line up behind everyone. So I did…waited about 45 minutes to get service again. When I finally went to an agent for service I gave her the form and then she said “oh you also need to call this number and then line up again”. This was something she should have told me beforehand. Not only did she say that, she presented a very unprofessional attitude. I called the number she provided and it was just another number with service ontario customer service. I went to the agent who provided that number and asked her why she just did that. She gave me a look and said “I can’t help you”. I needed help but instead I was provided with the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced with service ontario in the past 15 years. I will never forget what kind of customer service I have received from this location.

I mean, no one is really excited that they have to go into a Service Ontario, are they? This little center is usually busy when I've been there but the employees are friendly and helpful. I understand that if the line gets long it's because they are doing their best to help and sometimes that takes time. Having said that, if I arrive and see that the line is back to the door, I come back another time if possible.

Incompetent staff. Supervisor shakes her head and uses hand gestures when u ask her simple question similar to the behaviour of a toddler. By the looks of it the girl with blocky eyebrows and glasses always has one up her a$$ cause she was giving attitude to a very nice gentleman and he killed her with kindness. Everyone in this office clearly needs to get laid.

March 27,2023 at 2: 15pm. Worker with a bib red hair bob was so rude and unprofessional. I started to line up and because the line was out to the door. I had asked her I have question and she proceeded to tell me hurry up she very busy and that she will answer with yes and no. I didn’t end up staying because they couldn’t help. I would have been in line for at least 2 hours had I not asked her.

Incompetent Staff! They don't know how to do the job they are hired to. Went to change the ownership. The lady behind the first desk, from the right side, had no clue how to proceed with it. Instead of transferring me to someone familiar with the process, she went three times to ask someone else and every time would ask for different documents. I had all the documents Service Ontario website asked for but apparently it was not enough.
GET TRAINED! And knowledgeable on the job you are getting paid for before treating people as if delinquents. Such a waste of time!

Don’t ever go to this service ontario…worst customer service ever…and the girl with the glass and the white old lady infront are racists…they made me to come three tomes here for my wife’s health card and again saying me to come back…. They both are rude and very bad in customer service…I don’t kw why they hiring these type of idiots for work …. They don’t kw how to talk to people either…. Never go here again…need the authority to take care these type of people …health card is important here in this country and they denying my right here…have all the documents with me the. They doing this

Absolutely useless, took two elderly in a snowy day for their health card replacement but it looks like we owe the person who was serving us! She tried her best to make us come back again for some unnecessary paperwork.but we went to different location, job done same time same day! What a waste of taxpayer money!

I went for my Health card and Photo ID renewal. I got my Health card by mail on time, but the Photo ID never came. Now I have to do the whole process, again!

I dropped in around 2pm and there was no traffic in terms of waiting. Got my ohip card and D. L renewed and was out of there in 10mins. The clerk was very friendly and pleasant. Great location!

Rude clerk had my Health Card Renewal Form with my address on it right in front of her and typed it in wrong on the Photo Id Application. Ink so faded I didn't notice it. Waited 6 weeks for the card that never came. Check Everything They Do Here or you are doomed to be a repeat customer.

Last visit in fall when discovered OHIP card expired at 10am there were at least 200 people waiting, today just past 2pm maybe a dozen people in line which moved fast. Then it was my turn, photo, no hats or glasses, and it was done in less then 15minutes. Fantastic, card in mail within 4 weeks. Heads up if you dont drive, like me, bring a current bill with name and address and youre good to go. By the way expired ohip cards can be renewed until September.

They wouldn't process my declaration of intercommunity transport for vehicles under 10 passengers because it was something they've never seen before. They're supposed to do it - the government pays them to do it (they're a private company awarded the contract by the government to process these things). But this isn't something they're familiar with, so they just refused to do it. They're supposed to call the government help line who walks them through the process, but they were just too lazy to do it (the lady at the desk I went do was picking the dirt from under her nails, waiting for the clock to hit 5 so she could clock out) so they said it's not something they do.

So I had to go back because after renewing my health card and showing so many pieces of ID they messed up with my apt number.
Went today waiting outside with a group of friendly people, talking, laughing trying to stay warm. Women opens door we started to walk in she tells us to slow down.sorry we were out there for half an hour. I said good morning does not respond.
Sad to see they start there Morning with such a rude attitude hate to see them in the middle of the day. No apology for the inconvenience that I had to come back. You need to train them on CUSTOMER SERVICE

Something happened to my ownership and I could not renew my license plate stickers online. I visited this location twice and got the issue resolved. The first time I was assisted by a lady named Carrol. She did everything that she could and was very patient and calm. She called the head office and took down my information saying that she will call me back as soon as there are updates. I visited again after a week of waiting and spoke with a lady named Dina who was very understanding and promised to put my issue on her priority list the following morning. She kept her promise and got everything done for me. There was a lady on the phone named Nicole who also provided assistance. Big thanks go out to Carrol, Dina, of the 2700 Dufferin St Unit 54, York, ON M6B 4J3 location, and Nicole on the line. Keep up the excellent work!

I was relieved to see the line up was not long and there were quite a few staff members working. But the woman at the desk (signed document with an initial Z) was so incredibly rude! So much so that it outweighed the positive feeling I had in line. Judging by the other comments here, her misery is felt by the people they serve.

Terrible kiosks! I waisted three hours under the cold and snow just to get the proper documents in order to simply renew my health card. Also, one of the Filipino lady argued with me for over an hour just to simply show a document that required my name and address (when clearly I have shown all my passport and other bank documents to prove my address and name). Just simply avoid this place if you respect yourself!

Fast and efficient. Went in at around 1pm Wednesday to renew my health card, there was little to no line up. The whole transaction was less than 5 minutes.

Currently this location closes early at 4: 00 pm, unlike other locations which close 5: 00 - 6: 00 pm. Fairly long line up outside, but it moved quickly and once inside I was processed very efficiently and it appeared others were also processed efficiently.

Really poor service from the young lady with glasses on the outmost left. Went in for a used vehicle information package which on their website says you could use a license plate number or VIN, i used the license plate number and she said that i needed the VIN. When prompted that online says you could use either, she went on a power trip.

There was a little bit of a line up when I arrived, but it moved quickly enough. Once inside, the line wasn't quite as quick, but still the wait wasn't overly long. This was almost an in and out trip for me. Friendly service.

Lady with the glasses and tge purple hair was really rude to deal with she said they don't deal with immigrants and this location just because I had an accent I had all my residence papers snd she won't even look and them just kept saying go to a different location didn't expect that from a government agency

Service was extremely fast and efficient (OHIP card renewal and address change). Wait of only 8min at 9am. Staff I interacted with were freindiy. Limited number of people allowed in at a time.

Nearly empty when I went at about 3pm today. The employee who helped me, Dana (Dah-Nah), was very professional, efficient and helpful. She wasn't sure why I asked her her name but when I said to write a positive review she was happy to oblige.must be a rough place to work. The entire process took 15-20 minutes and I didn't have to wait outside at all. Very satisfied with my Vehicle Registration experience.

I had a great experience at this Service Ontario location. I was there to renew my Ontario Health Card. The line up was very small and I waited only minutes in order to be serviced. The process was efficient and fast and the representative was super helpful and kind. I also felt safe given all the social distancing and sterilization measures that I observed inside and outside of the location. Highly recommend this location!

Went on a Monday morning. There was a short line outside about 6 people ahead of me. The staff is efficient and organized. Due to Covid, they allow roughly 9-10 people inside at a time. 6 people in queue inside the building, while 3 people are being served.

Was the on August 14,2020. Yes, i had my papers done in a timely manner and the person who helped me was helpful. However, I don't understand what makes this place excempt from other indoor establishments where NONE OF THE STAFF are wearing masks at all. No gloves and no masks. No PHUKS given. I went to 3 other Service Ontario and they were very strict on the whole masks AND gloves. This place? A joke. You want Covid, go to this place.

Not very good experience. I would find a different location if you can. Personally the experience was bad. The lady/manager at the front directing traffic due to COVID was more pushy than helpful. Secondly, they wanted a mailed statement or physically signed lease copy to prove residence. We had just moved to ON, our banking is all online, the lease was signed online. Everything is a digital copy. They wanted an actual mail and denied service. Even the bank asked us to print the statement view online for address proof, which these guys said will not be accepted. The lease is a printed copy that they refused to accept as well as it was signed online. It's beyond me that they are not using their logic considering the circumstances, in this day and age with all transactions being done online. One of the ladies at the desk agreed saying well everything is online these days but couldn't help.

This is probably the worst Service Ontario in the city. The people at the counter are extremely rude and do not understand the policies and procedures. I tried getting my OHIP and I was sent back 4 times for some odd reason or the other. I called up the helpline and they advised me to go to the Service Ontario on 777 Bay and as I got my work done within 10 minutes. Extremely disappointed by the service at this centre.

The young lady I was being helped by was very nice and understanding unfortunately the manager is a nightmare and denied my documents to change plates. I had been in 3 times and the requirements set by the terror manager changed each time without any helpful advice, finally went to another location on Sheppard Avenue W and they took all my documents and gave me my plates, in and out in 15 minutes.

Terrible terrible location.

BEST PLACE to renew the license!
Very helpful, and efficient representatives!
Already in August I visited this place, thought was an isolated incident, that I had everything done in half hour.but apparently that's the regular time at this location, versus other places, where you wait hours!
Today my husband went there to take care of the renewal process, and finished about half hour as well.
Highly recommend!

Visited here recently regarding issues with my driving license, wait time was very long as always, about one hour. I was very offended by the staff member helping me, the tanned women with glasses kept telling me I could have done this all online but I prefer the human contact experience, she kept huffing and puffing, aggressively typing on her keyboard, she then told me "you foreigners will never learn. " I'm not even foreign, I was born and raised here in Canada but how offensive to people who visit/immigrate here from abroad.

Terrible experience, terrible customer service and terribly trained staff and management. This office reflects very poorly on the Ontario Gov't providing basic services to Ontario residents. The wait is only so long because the staff (I waited long enough in line to notice this) just find excuses to keep turning everyone away so they don't have to do their job. Negative people in customer service is always such a shame; now I, among many others who really need it, are denied basic and free government services like health care even though you bring proper and sufficient documents. Absolutely appalling experience.

Three people working with 29 people lined up and the lines were moving super slow. Give yourself an hour if you need anything.

They should really have more employees working at this location.

Employees were nice that’s why I gave a two star rating or else it would have been one.

I've gone to this office for services about 6 times in the past ten years and the kind of service I've received depended entirely on which service rep dealt with me. There is a Vietnamese lady there who is just terrific. How do I know she is Vietnamese? Because we got to talking a little and I asked her and she told me. She was completely polite and willing to be either as friendly or as business-like as I wanted.

Then there is another (Caucasian) lady who seems to be in her 50s and seems to think she runs this office. But she doesn't. As a matter of fact, she seems to think she runs the whole world. But she doesn't do that either. I have seen her interfere in different reps' conversations several times. It's as if she listens to the other reps' conversations and takes pleasure in interrupting them and giving a hard time to either the reps or the clients about anything. This woman is a horror - absolutely dreadful and they need to terminate her. When I called the Ministry to complain, I learned these offices are not run by any govt ministry but are contracted out to private companies. IMO, that is why some of the people working here feel they can be as rude as they want to be. The experience is very different than any govt ministry.

I think that is also the reason why every single review I read is either entirely wonderful or entirely dismal. It all depends which service rep you get. They seem to have the freedom to be as nice or as rude as they want to be.

OMG! I just finished reading all the reviews of this office. There were about 50 and absolutely every single one was either the minimum number of stars or the maximum. Every single review either said the service was absolutely wonderful or absolutely terrible. As a result, I believe the problems people have had here are due to the fact the people who work here are not govt employees but work for private companies and they do not have to follow the same rules as do govt employees.

Employees need a course for patience and customer service. Screaming at a customer to be quiet is not something someone representing the country should be doing.

The line up might be to the door but I always end up being dealt with in 10 minutes or so. I've been 3 times this week, my own stupidity, and never had to wait longer than 10 minutes. The staff are very competent and always friendly.

Horrible horrible horrible service! I will never forget this! One of the service Ontario employees, tanned middle aged woman with a short/bob cut and glasses, screamed at us at the top of her lungs and we weren’t even sure what was going on. All of a sudden we hear someone screaming at the top of her lungs, as we were getting ready to leave: “EXCUSE ME, CAN YOU WAIT, I’M TAKING A PICTURE HERE! ” We were at the last counter and she was at the second last counter screaming. No one even gave a primary warning that a picture was being taken. Everyone was so confused and it looked like we did something so awful. People all the way at the front, everyone, stared. What kind of customer service representative yells at the top of her lungs? It was so embarrassing and everyone was looking, as if there was a big scene going on. I wish a manager was nearby so I could voice my concerns. Her coworker, sitting beside her was even mortified at her yelling. Service Ontario screen your employees before you end up with frantic ones making your institution look like a joke! Look into investigating your different branches, especially this location that is known for rude customer service. Sincerely, a customer with 10 years of customer service experience.
