Worst experience ever. The man at reception desk is so terrible and not polite at all. Not even doing his job properly doesn’t accommodate you for anything.

Always full, with at least a 3 hour wait. Don't have exactly the right paperwork? Too bad - come another day. Some of the reasons for denial I've overheard while waiting on my 4 hour excursion were ridiculous. Have some humanity, people.

Horrible wait timings.only 2 counters were open out of 6.arrived at 9 am and waited there for around 3 hours for my turn.

Worst location. Went for OHIP card, my employment letter states I'm a full time employee, still they didn't accept it when already other location told me they do accept the letter if full time is written. The staff is rude and will not cooperate in any way.

Worst service ever.the guy who is working at the front desk is very rude and he didn’t even listen what we are saying and then he said just grab your papers and move.we went there to apply the heath card for the first time.i dont know his name but the guy was too rude and egoistic person. His hairs was curly.

I recently visited the Service Ontario, and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service provided. The staff members were polite, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to solving my problem. I highly appreciate their efforts. My only suggestion would be to book an appointment in advance to avoid waiting in line. Thank you to the entire team for their exceptional assistance

At the reception they did not verify my documents correctly… I took the ticket I waited more than 2: 30 hours for the agent who attended me to inform me that I had incomplete documentation. And I need came back other day….

Awesome location and all employees are nice and waiting time is also very less.

Bad service, the staff is highly inefficient with their time and I was waiting here for 3 hours to have my health card renewed. There are 6 service desks but only 2 operating at any given time. Rest of the staff was busy walking around, going breakfast shopping to nearby Sobeys or chatting with their fellow colleagues.

YOU WILL NOT BE SERVED IF YOU COME AT 4 PM EVEN IF YOU SHOULD BE UNTIL 5 PM. I was there at 4: 00 pm. The office should be open until 5pm. I waited in a long line to the first counter to get a ticker. Just as I was about to get a ticket, an officer came out and told all the people in line that we probably wouldn't be served today even if it was only 4: 15pm and we have to wait until all people in waiting room will be served first to see if he can give as a ticket. What is going on in this country? Canada used to have excellent custumers service, now it's terrible. There are fewer and fewer SO offices. It takes hours to get to them. Even if you get there 1 hour before closing you won't be served. You have to take 1 day off to go to Service Ontario. Who will pay for this 1 day off? If the store closes at 5 p.m, all customers who enter it until 5 p.m. Are served. If at 4 pm there are 20 people waiting for a ticket to be served in the Service Ontario, then the office should be open longer, not kicking our customers at 4: 00pm. What's going on in Canada? Where does the 30% of taxes of hard working people go to?

I walked in here 8: 30 am on a monday morning. 15 people in the line which is not too bad. 1 receptionist and 5 tellers. By 10 am they didn’t serve a total of 15 people. Slow, entitled, tellers check their phone between each person they help. They type with one hand using 2 fingers. I have genuinely never met a group of people who worked so slowly and to think these are government employees! Do not visit this spot. Waste of your time.

Had bad experience at this location. Very rude black lady at reception. Has too much attitude and giving people hard time for no reason. Doesn’t have people skills at all. Waiting time is super long if you don’t have an appointment. Can take 4-5 hours to stay inna line. I’ll never go to this location again.

Don’t bother booking an appointment here, it’s completely useless. I booked for 11: 35am and the front desk completely discarded my number before heading on their lunch break. I waited two hours unknowingly and only got to the front desk after asking for a new number. Waste of my time.

Sorry but really very very slow service. They don’t even allow to enter. Stood outside for 1.5 hour. Luckily finally just before close they let me in.

Good place to visit for making your OHIP. The whole process took only 10-15 minutes. Very kind and helpful staff including front desk.

I came here to apply for my first Health Card in Canada, The service was very fast. I didn’t have appointments and it took 40 minutes.

If you are not able to talk in the front desk lady’s language. She will disrespect you and misinform you!
Yesterday, when I entered the office front desk lady didn’t let me get a ticket and started talking in another language. When I said I don’t understand her she asked why I came for. Then she asked for a document that I didn’t have with me. I came back within 40mins with the document she asked for. The moment I entered the office, she shouted at me and asked me to wait outside! I was confused and I asked her why she is behaving like this. She said they are not able to serve me anymore! It was 4.20 and a few people were inside. I attached a picture of inside, when didn’t let me inside.

While I was there she was informing other customers that they are fully booked for 2 weeks and directing people to other Service Ontario offices; however, on the west end this is the only Service Ontario that can extend health cards for certain people, and they don’t need the document she asked me for! I came to know this today after spending one hour commuting to go to another office and waiting in line for 2 hours!
All in all, if you decided to go there except to be disrespected and misinformed!

Without an appointment the wait is over 2 hours. Even if you have an online appointment, be prepared to wait 30 mins.

My visit to this office of service Ontario was flawless today, Friday.
I made an appointment 2 weeks back at 11 am, came early 30 mins before, and was lucky as apparently no lines, no waiting time. Officer was professional and quick on my responses. I finished everything in less then 10 mins. Thank you ServiceOntario for excellent customer service.

Do not go there with out appointment, 3 hours waiting time and you may not get it at all. Appointment need to book two weeks ahead, if you have to walk in, prepare water and charge your phone.

Awful service, first I called to comfirm about my paperwork they told me it was ok, and when I was there they told me it was wrong, I waste one day of work.

Very fast, efficient, king and caring from start to finish. The gentle man who dealt with me was very nice. This is my second time, I went 5 years ago and got the same treatment.

I visited here 7 july 2022 regarding health card. Front desk lady is very rude and don’t understand the customers situation.

Even with an appointment I waited two hours, over an hour after my appointment was scheduled. The people were nice enough, though. Just be prepared to wait.

Today, I renewed my child's OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan). It just took me a blink of an eye, it was so quick. First, because I make an appointment and second, kids do not need picture. It was very quick, I was surprised. The person in the information desk processed it because I have everything all ready: filled up form, resident status (Permanent Resident Card or PR card), proof of Address (My Ontario Driver's License because my child is under 15 1/2 years old), proof of Identity (my child's Passport).

I scheduled an appointment, I arrived 10 minutes earlier and went to ask to the guard at the door and they let me in. Everyone was so nice and helpful, spent around 20 minutes to get everything done with my request for a new OHIP.
This is a full service centre.

Don’t bother making an appointment online, you will still be waiting in line when you arrive. My appointment was supposed to take 15 mins and ended up taking longer than an hour.

Came in to extend OHIP because i could not do it online. Processing of application was rejected because i was late for 8 min.
I have arrived at 4: 53 for appointment that was booked for 4: 45. No line up. 5 officers at their desks and 2 of 5 processing other people.
However, those 3 that were free have refused to do their work as it was 7 min left before closing!
Can somebody please tell me they were right?

Terrible they have no idea what there doing there and infact after being told I had to redue all my paper work for a transfer into my name, I went to another service Ontario the same day and got it done. Thanks jake

This place is very rude. They indirectly were discriminating against people who needed their service. Instead of answering their questions that were needed; they proceed to yell and act so unprofessional. Imagine coming for a question and leaving feeling embarrassed because you're getting yelled at by the staff. Stay away.

This office was kind of far from my home. But when I reached there I did not regret. Information desk lady was so polite and helpful. Nice comfortable heated room, No outside line in winter. Underground parking kind of expensive but didn't bother me because I'm not going there everyday.

Book an appointment before you head in. A lot of bad reviews at this location is from frustrated folks who didn't do that prior to arriving and were forced to wait much longer.

I would recommend parking at the TTC surface parking lot across the street for a flat rate of $6 between 5am - 2pm and flat rate of $2 between 3pm - 2am.

Had an appointment recently and was in and out within 20 minutes. Service was good, quick, efficient and friendly staff. Would recommend this location!

Absolutely horrible line up over an hour as they let everyone line up making a huge line up creating more of a crowd in the mall. (DURING COVID HA GEEZE) makes no sense! While allowing online bookings in constantly and the line continues to grow and they just ignore the walk ins. Lady at the door completely dismisses you if your a walk in. RIDICULOUS obviously doesn't follow covid rules

They say you have to have an appointment, but you still wait more than 30 min past your scheduled appointment. Staff are friendly but can't help with time frames, If you choose this location make sure you have the time to wait. Seems to be a very busy location.

(Pandemic review) A bit of a wait - we waited 30min past our appointment time, but great line management and helpful, patient staff. Make sure you make an appointment before going in, or your wait is going to be MUCH, MUCH longer.

The security guard and the receptionist were very kind and uplifting.
However the people at the counter treated me with absolutely no respect. They did not accept my the papers I had brought the first time so the second time I went I took the papers that they requested for and they STILL did not want to accept it. This was an absolute waste of my time and energy. Going to avoid this place at all cost

The agents themselves are doing their best. Also the security person is doing their best to keep the line orderly.

However, the system of online booked appointments vs.in person is extremely frustrating. Did you know you could book an appointment online? I didn’t! Nor did about 50 other people in line with me. Unfortunately, that meant we all had to wait in line for more than an hour, while dozens of people with online appointments bumped us and got in earlier. (And we all got here within half an hour of opening).

Why does a single online booking bump every single person who has been waiting? Why doesn’t ServiceOntario reserve some capacity for walk ins? Because God forbid you’re not able to access, or don’t know about online booking.

To day I visited the service Ontario office at 3300 Bloor St West I delt with a

lovely lady Daisy was her name and she was just great.friendly and proffesional.i got my Health Card issue corrected and got my application in for my I. D Card all done inside 20 min very impressed at the service at this location.

Security kindly greets at the entrance. All workers are professional and kind and care public health. Greatly recommend to visit.

I’ve been here twice already and this is by far the best Service Ontario I have ever been to. You’re in and out very quickly and the people who work there are very nice including the security guard that stands outside! If you want things to go even quicker, book an appointment!:)

Good service, and I was able to make an appointment when I had to go in although there was no one else there when I arrived.

Best Service Ontario. Very fast and offer all health card services. There were no lines and I was done in 5 minutes.

I visited today for health card application for my self and my son. Very nice staff and great service.

I finally found a Service Ontario branch that is not super busy as downtown and you can get things done quicker.
Staff seems friendlier as well.
They do renew your OHIP if you’re under a work permit.

Perfectly capable and willing to let you wait half an hour only for nothing to be done due to nonfunctional office equipment.

Just had another great experience at Service Ontario, specifically the branch at Islington/ Bloor. The nice lady at the counter, Nicole, was friendly, helpful and really knew her stuff. And I only waited 15 mins to boot!

Too bad this full service ServiceOntario that's close to an immigration office has a hard time following the list of requirements. My Proof of Residency in Ontario item was not accepted due to the fact that my bank account statement didn't list transactions (note that transactions are not mentioned as a requirement). I was also advised to instead print my hydro bill for my next visit even though it clearly states that no print-outs are allowed. Maybe someone needs some new training and a lesson on service (yes you with the red hair and glasses!) because the lady in the front at least knew I had all the documents I needed for my OHIP application.

I can’t complain, service was exceptional right from the guy at the front desk to William who served me and the kids as we applied for our very first Ontario Health cards.

My old Red & White OHIP card was no longer being accepted by hospitals and clinics, so I had to obtain a photo card to replace it. I waited until a Friday to do this. I arrived at 13: 20, was given a number and told to fill out a form and wait. To my surprise, my number was called after a 35 minute wait (I had been told the delay was 60 minutes). The young lady was satisfied with my ID so she took my photo and gave me a temporary card with a new number that I can use while I wait for my permanent card to arrive via Canada Post. All in all, a very pleasant experience, taking a total of 50 minutes. I recommend this Service Ontario location.

So slow I could type faster in my sleep common now! How long does it take to insert information on a form. & why are the under staffed or have one finger typist I stress of Fast Data entry people. Too busy to keep so many people waiting!

Usually on the Desk aisle there is a woman who very professionally knows her job, but they planted a young guy who doesn’t know and I don’t blame him but unfortunately when I waited my turn I don’t have exact information about what I need to do and I turned to the person named William I just I sent it off just sent without explaining anything and I turned to the assistant adviser for help and she was very unpleasantly cold and did not want to help, she also tried to get rid of it was obvious that she had a dislike for mimicry was very unpleasant Shade pleasure to work with such people I had the feeling that she gives her last penny out of your pocket. Not very Professional service, It is a pity that such people work in Canadian public institutions.

I really don’t like it how was provide service but there are some who is a present service Ontario name of persons William skip to resolve my issue with documents and wasn’t answering my questions just send me away. Then I turned with questions to senior advisor the woman who is was very cold and unpleasant unfortunately I don’t know why she was so hateful and not helpful at all I was not expecting to see such a people on service Ontario representative

Absolutely insane these politicians get re-elected by YOU. $30 parking ticket balloons into $90 and you can't even pay it online!

The place is supposedly open till 5 p.m on Friday but when I came at 4: 15 on Friday, the lady with glasses, sitting at the 1st window closes to the exit said that we won't serve me. Said that there was too many people already inside and won't give me a coupon number. She was very NOT professional and mean. She shouldn't be working there. I asked for her manager and she said he's not here and said that her manager told her to not serve anyone else and not give coupon numbers. IF SERVICE ONTARIO IS OPEN TILL 5PM, MEANS THAT IT'S OPEN TO 5PM NOT 4: 15PM. THIS IS PURE DISCRIMINATION.
