Waited in line for 20 min.to be told to take a form, and go fill it out, and get back in line and wait for my turn again. It literally took me 30 seconds to fill out the form, which they used to fill out themselves, and then wait for another 20 min.for my turn. Next time I will be driving to Port Hope.

I absolutely love going to smaller towns and cities when I need services like Service Ontario. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Busy location much like most serviceontario locations but they were fairly fast in processing people in what they had to do.

Very poor customer service. The clerk I spoke with was miserable and disrespectful. She treated me like I was beneath her. After she had assisted me, she let me stand there for 3 mins without telling me she was done. I told her she had poor customer service and she should treat people better, she looked over to a co-worker and they laughed like two high school kids.

Hands down, the fastest & easiest experience I’ve ever had a Service Ontario location. I made an appointment for 10am and arrived about 10 minutes early. There was one person sitting in the chairs waiting ahead of me & about 2 minutes later, I was called up to the counter. A few minutes later, I was back in my car with my updated vehicle registration in my glove box & I actually pulled out of the parking lot before my 10am appointment time. The office is a dingy little hole in the wall, but I appreciate the quick service.

They close the doors early. I am not talking like 10 minutes early but more then half an hour before close and it doesn't matter how long you have been waiting if you are inside already, as soon as it is close they just kick you out. Horrible customer service. Also apparently both employees came to work sick that day and the one lady was more concerned about keeping the door locked before close that she left one lady to do everything and the line did not move. They are very rude too.

Nice ladies, sooooo nice and helpful, but their organizational skills and team work is absolutely trash, I've been waiting at the front of the line for 10 mins watching 6 ladies chat, then some other guy comes in and gets service before me without an appointment also 2 of the staff say they can't help me because they are new, waiting another 5 mins. Lady says we are in the process of transfering on new staff for their shift. Wth are they thinking so many people are using their lunch breaks to get services done, this was not helpful to the public. When I was helped the lady just started her shift she was so helpful and nice and I got everything done super fast.

Made an appt in advance for d/l renewal and new licence plates. The lady that helped me was lovely and friendly. All the staff in this little office are cheerful efficient and friendly

Small but efficient location.
There is almost always a lineup, (common for most Service Ontario offices) but the line moves quickly here.
Friendly Staff and close to home are a big plus for me!

Showed up on Saturday morning at 9: 15. No one here working on June 25th. Entire lineup of people who waited till 9: 30 to leave. Really screws up my day as I had taken the morning off to come here and now will be forced to go wait at another location. No answer on the phone number and nothing posted anywhere about it being closed.

Hours for month of JULY are 9am-1pm. Not open on Saturday.

People who work there are really nice and trying their best to get everyone through in a timely manner.

I went here tonight and the older woman wearing a green sweater and glasses publicly shamed me with other customers in line. She assumed she knew my story and acused me of being out in public jeopardizing people's safety as I said I have been trying to access my covid results online but the postal code is wrong. I was tested 10 days ago, the duration of an isolation period. I have never felt so small and embarrassed. I went to work today, passed the COVID Screening questions. I am a responsible adult and understand the severity of this pandemic and this woman has the audacity to publicly shame me and accuse me of putting people at risk. People are losing their minds. She should not be dealing with the public sector. I still feel terribly embarrassed. I will be driving t the next town from now on. Her behavior was absolutely unprofessional and she should be ashamed. Stay home if you are so afraid of this DEADLY virus. A very unpleasant experience. She refused to give me her name when I asked. Shame on her.

Unfortunately the lady who served me either hates her job or was having a bad day, she was very rude and took her bad day out on me would not recommend this location.

The essential task of governing bodies is essential services and policy making. In order to make good policies communications is vital. Nevertheless, during these unprecedented times all you get is a voicemail for communications. If you don’t want people to visit then pick up something called the phone and communicate and educate the public about their options. This will decrease unnecessary people visiting, decrease your workload, and decrease wait time.
(Don’t forget to assign a well articulated and informed phone operator as an information ambassador).

It was actually excellent. The service was fast and friendly and that is something I am not used to at Service Ontario. Well done, I am impressed.

Lineups are non stop be prepared to wait at least 30-40 minutes (that’s just in line) don’t listen to what the other reviewers are talking about.

We had to go in today with a complicated situation We were helped by Jennifer who was kind, efficient, polite and very knowledgeable. She helped us get what we needed done and we were very happy with the service she provided us!

WOW! This has to be the BEST ServiceOntario in the Province. Efficient, clear, kind, patient. The ladies there juggle multiple issues at once with ease! Just such a pleasure to deal with.

Workers are always very rude, always dread having to come inside to get something done as it’s always just a terrible experience. Workers talk to each other about you while you’re right in front of them making you feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Bowmanville one in another location. But they had staff and I was in and out in less than 45min.

Went to place an order for a Certified driving record after seeing online it has to be done in person. After waiting, I was told that they can't do that and it has to be done online. So after traveling back home, I decided to call the help line to see how to order it. Turns out, it can be done in person, not online. Looks like I'll have to go back again.

Great service but when I went there were only 2 clerks. There is a line up outside, the fun part is that there is another one once inside the building, it's fair enough.

Wish there were more clerks.

Waited out in the freezing cold for ages, why can't you take phone numbers and call you while you wait in your car until your number is up like restaurants? Would save people getting sick waiting in the freezing cold.

The counter staff here are great considering the circumstances going on and the nature of the business. Most customers are unaware of what they need until at the wicket

Never had a bad experience here, so people giving bad reviews must be the entitled ones. Service Ontario is not owed or ran by the Ontario government. It is a private entity. Staff alway helpful and knowledgeable. God lord people are whiny on these reviews

5 stars to christine. This young lady was knowledgeable friendly and provided Excellent customer service. She literally renewed my faith in the name of quality customer service. Not only did she go over and above by helping me remove my plates as i was unable due to an injury, but when i didn't have proper paperwork she was patient and put my old plates back on so i could get correct paperwork. Then when i returned she immediately got up out her chair to help me. As i have recently become temporarily injured, i sooo appreciate good genuinely kind people.

Great place, friendly staff, lots of parking. I heard they are changing locations within the building (larger space), once that is in place I hope to hear less whining. LOL funny people putting 1 star like others actually find your complaints helpful. Absolutley no life with these 1 star people. Enjoy your trip to oshawa.

I’ve been there several times this past month for various reasons. Polite friendly staff and abundant parking compared to the old location!
