Quick service, but the attitude from the people that work here is horrendous. Just because you have a government job doesn’t mean you’re better than everyone else.

This location is the best in whole Ontario, the staff is decent, cooperative, we are car dealers and have visited almost every service Ontario, But these guys are GREAT, LIZ, STEPH, Shanon, Sharline, everybody is Welcoming

Very Rude and as typical not helpful. I had a complete package from Mercedes financial that Mercedes obviously send to hundreds of people everyday and they looked to find one thing slightly irregular so they wouldn’t have to help me
1 hour of my life wasted, yet again, at a service Ontario.

My poor mom and sister went in to work on car stuff just after my dad died. The woman serving my mom was so rude, grumpy and unkind. No condolences, just a grumpy voice and annoyed attitude about what my mom didn't know about or have with her. My other sister had to drive back and forth, almost twice to ensure documents were there. Who has an updated will and paperwork fully organized within 2 weeks of their husband dying. So frustrating. A simple condolence and a kind waybof requesting documents would have been enough.

Tried to be friendly with the agent, who had absolutely no sense of humour and didnt reply to anything I said. Sorry you got my daughters name wrong on her health card and I had to come change it because you dont know how to spell properly. You could have at least smiled or done anything to prove you arent an overpaid government robot. Oh well, what else do you expect from service Ontario workers. Mistakes then rudeness.

When looking for a service Ontario to use I suggest going downtown. This location can't seem to provide the same service in the same capacity as they can down there. While other service Ontario locations are run by an outside company the one Downtown St Catharines is actually run by the MTO apparently. Stick to the originals, go downtown and avoid the long Waits. You will get more done to as well.

Almost every time i come to this service ontario im faced with a rude worker. Im not sure why this always happens. You guys need to work on your employees attitude and professionalism.

Service was terrible at the dealer line, the lady with the mole on her chin was unnecessarily rude.

Great staff, keep the line moving well, shame about the yellow walls and depressing lack of decor or ambient music.

Very poor customer service. The employees very rude, looks like they don't have any desire to be there, work or even talk to anybody! Very moody, not welcoming, not helping, snobby talking.big lack of communication, you feel like you're in a funeral home!

The place is a dump, staff member who "helped" couldn't help us with 4/4 things. Customers should not have to waiting in a line outside to be served.

I'm so confused. I've never been in and out of a ServiceOntario so fast. I've waited longer in an A&W.

I have never been more humiliated than I was at this place trying to register my RV. Talk about sexism! I am a 60 year old widowed senior on disability. After standing an hour and a half in line on a Friday afternoon, I was told that my motorhome was not a registered motorhome (even though it clearly stated RMV), IT was apparently not entered in the correct spot in the system) I had to get the man who sold it to me to come down and he got immediate service. They changed it no problem. Meanwhile if he had not come. They were going to make me get an appraisal, and then to register it I must find somebody who would certify that it was indeed a motorhome and had been altered to be one even though it had been a motorhome since it was first made. It was ridiculous and I have never been more frustrated or embaressed. Don't go here if you are a woman because the women here only give good service to the men. It's disgraceful.

20m wait outside in the rain due to pandemic rules. Once inside, they were quick, efficient & effective. Great staff.

Women at desk was rude and unwilling to help. Made no effort to explain or help with my situation. Was hearing alot of rude comments and sparky words after I asked questions. I don't know what these peoples problems are but everytime I come in for help I walk out feeling disrespected

I have had good service this location. If your patient you will be fine. If not renew everything online.

Worst service Ontario I've ever been to. Most staff are rude and short with you, not all but most. Tge lineups are terrible, I'm pretty sure I've never once been there while they had short lineups. To top it off they make u stand tye whole time, like come on people put some chairs in there and do the take a number system! Like they do at a couple other Service Ontario's I been to

Very rude staff, gentleman and I in line were told to keep quiet over a harmless conversation. When I got to my turn in to the desk (which took almost an hr) I was not helped appropriately. I was told 3 weeks prior when I transfered ownership that I needed a safety to get temp plates. My cellphone died and have not received pink slip for insurance cause it hasn't come in the mail yet. I have correct info for insurance as my policy # doesn't change. I was denied paying for my plates even for just a temporary sticker. Her reason is that vehicle is unfit for the road even though I have safety to prove that it is. Absolutely unacceptable service, with poor attitude to boot.

Need more employees. People standing outside in the freezing cold waiting for service. Line does not move very quickly as there are limited employees.

I won't recommend this place the people that work there are very rude all they want is money. If I could review the place 0 star I would have. Please stay away from this place

This center never seems to actually do anything. They are extremely rude, they lose paperwork, and they are very abusive verbally towards people. If you have ANY issue that involves Service Ontario, go downtown to St Paul and get service from the actual Ontario Government

I had to renew my license today and because i have been going through chemo i have lost my hair. I asked if there was any way i could use the picture on my license as i have no hair right now. It's the only thing I'm vain about. The clerk made a phone call and because i was also downgrading my license they were able to do it for me. Wonderful compassion and empathy and an overall great experience.

Good service Ontario location. The line moved pretty fast on a Friday morning. More services should be available online to make it easier for everyone, but the staff here were friendly and helpful.

I was the eleventh person in line out of sixteen waiting at 0830 hours. Due to covid restrictions only nine were taken in the first time. On my turn the lady behind the counter was very polite and provided excellent Customer service. She was very efficient and my two plate stickers were processed in less than eight minutes. I walked out of the door at 0855 hours. Great job and kudos to the staff at this location.

The staff member I dealt with was rude and condescending. If you can go to a different location, I suggest you do so.

Tbe staff here are great and worked hard and helped us out with a complex situation today and were AWESOME. Very helpful, professional and a pleasure to be around.

Of course there was a line up outside as they were complying with Covid-19 rules. There was a hitch-up outside as a “gentleman” wouldn’t accept the explanation he was given that he had to go to another location to get what he needed.
I had a multitude of things to get done and I was served with a smile and patience.

Aside from the 45 minute wait in line and then answering 3 questions at doorway my visit for a renewal sticker was 10 minutes in length. As grocery stores allowed "seniors" that one hour of shopping to avoid crowds & lineups it would be appreciated if ALL businesses & retailers would offer that one hour courtesy to seniors. It would make a big difference.

Pleasant surprise, top notch service.

My drivers license expired this month, where picture need to be taken as well. After checking reviews, and knowing how last few months made us all stressful, I was little bit apprehensive.

Experience was total opposite:) Arrived Friday at 8: 30, waiting line outside was manageable, and moving at decent pace. Officials were so nice to talk to, and extra helpful. I was out before 9 with all done, picture taken, health/drivers/vehicle sticker renewed.

Today I went to renew my license, but the employee in the middle (old guy and wearing a white shirt) refused to serve me just because I was wearing a medical mask. Such a horrible service. Never expected a government-based service to behave this way.

It was very busy when I arrived and the line of customers was almost to the door. Thought I would have to wait for a long time but all the stations were open and it actually went quite fast! Was probably there for about 20 minutes. Staff was friendly and very efficient. Got my things taken care of and was on my way. Pleasant experience. (A little dirty but what can ya do.)

I unwittingly let my drivers license lapse and I was due for a new Health card. I called ahead, asked what I would need to bring then went there. Sure, there was a line-up but hey, these folks are entrusted with delicate and personal information about all of us so wouldn't you rather they didn't hurry and possibly make an error? When my turn came the gentleman was professional and prompt. I have no complaint what-so-ever. Perhaps if you've had a poor experience it could very well be the people ahead of you weren't properly prepared. Maybe it was your attitude that put the Employee off, whatever the reason quit complaining. At least we can acquire a drivers license, at least we have access to Health care. In some oversea's countries the necessary paperwork can take weeks or months - if possible at all. We're Canadians, so relax.

What a pleasant experience. Although busy very fast and friendly service. Refreshing and even open on a long weekend.

I went to the Service Ontario office on 350 Scott St Unit 110, St. Catharines, ON L2N 6T4 2 separate occasions.

On both occasions, the line for service was nearly out the door and the estimated wait time was around an hour.

Ontario taxpayers are paying for service - not to wait for an hour.

Staffing should be adjusted to the volume of work!

First come, first serve; no take a number. I went first thing on weekday morning and line up was literally out the door. Was there 1hour for vehicle plate sticker renewal. Only a few seats available for people who cannot stand for any length of time.

First off, You gotta wait, no biggie, that's life.

BUT.
Horrible. Lazy staff and zero empathy. Trying to renew sticker for over a week, go with all my paperwork, and their "system" doesn't recognize my insurance, although the NRP can!

The wait times are absurd. I waited in the same spot in line for over 20 minutes, god knows how long I would have been in that awful dingy, cramped little room if I didn’t give up and leave. Another time I went, The woman I dealt with was very rude and completely unhelpful. She ended up providing me the wrong information even after calling head office.

First time visitor. Friendly and efficient service. Despite some seating available for the elderly and disabled, you must stand in line. My wait wasn’t long - maybe 20 minutes, despite a long line when I arrived.

Went on a Saturday, about an hour before closing and waited about 30 minutes or so, which was expected. The staff were very friendly and polite.

I've only had to go in a couple of times. Each time I find the staff pleasant. I also love that they having a waiting area for seniors and people with disabilities. Neither applies in my case but I definitely appreciate that they've made a clear effort to be accessible. I'm heading over again shortly so hopefully my experience will be another positive one.

I went there make my health card renewal first time they ask me addressed proof and last dates of job I amPR Card holders and when i second time bring all documents they told your travels history not mach I don’t now send your all travel information.very poor service and information they provide to people.

Hrs are amazing for a government business. Great for people with jobs. Don't care if I hafta wait in line (which is never for long)
