The gateway blvd service ontario location is the world's worst place in service. The staff over there is seems like they dont wanna work. They iust pick a file and wander here and there for atleast half an hour after that and most of te time they spent in the lunch areas.it seems like most of the staf are not on their designated places and do work. There is a long wait just because of the slow movement and laziness of the staff.worst ever place, recommend to go to other locations.

I have been in here waiting for 2 hours (still have not been seen).
they just made an announcement saying walk ins will take a lot longer because they prioritize appointments and returning customers …. If they would have told me this 2 hours ago I wouldn’t have to sit here for hours waiting for my number to be called, worst place ever!
They have enough people to have one exclusively for walkins

Today, we were went to Service Ontario for renew our health card and the man from we got service his name is Mr. Allan and he is so polite, kind and co-operative and specially very understanding person.

We feel so glad to get service from him.
Thanks alot to him he is very nice and good person I have ever met in my life in the government service office.

Excellent service… Just today I visited this service Ontario along with my kid for health card, I reached there by 12 noon, I got coupon on time, later I came to know that the job Letter must include some specification, I arranged job letter from my employer by 4: 41, my earlier coupon got expired, I again got new coupon by 4: 45 pm my turn comes at 4: 57. Hats off to the staff (3 boys, including lakshya) who assist me beyond the time just sake of humanity, and helps me in getting health card no. For my husband, my daughter and me.thank you so much to service canada for hiring such staff. Special thanks to lakshya, who was making announcements again and again in entire hall regarding the requirements of health card application.

Thank you lakshya, other 2 guys at desk and the security guy, for assisting us at closing time. We are thankful for the entire team who were there just waiting for our application to be done.
The incident is……my wife and my kid were there from 12 pm but due to improper documentation they didn’t proceed with health care application. Once she arranged all documents, and got turn at 4: 57 pm, above mentioned guys give their best, didn’t care about time and focused on customer/society services. You guys can even say no, come tomorrow. But, you guys did a great job together and we get our health card no.

Keep the humanity alive like this.

Worst service ever. We have waited in the line with my kid as well, provided all the required docs, still they need more and more. My friend got her health card without any issue in barrie with the same employment letter. That means there are no set of rules which they follow, its just brampton location where people are suffering and wasting their time.

Never visit this. Someone needs to take a look here, 2 hours wait out side in line. You go in, wait another 3 hour. Pathetic!
Security guard said half of the staff is off today, I mean, on a working day, they just took off.
I saw old kids and women just standing outside for hours. Imagine the frustration. Someone can easily faint who is low on sugar.

Very poor services, staff were so slow, only running 2 to 3 counters at a time, taking lot of time in-between the next person, compared to other service Ontario location wait time for walkin is horrible give your half of the day to do small work. Should shut down this place or hire professional staff that should know how to work in time manner. Newer visit this center again.

It was great & warming service by Lisa (counter 6). She been so friendly & was really easy to talk to her confidently. I loved her customer service. ️

The employees all take their lunches together and only one person at the desk. It took me 5 hours to been seen. Horrible service!

I went with appointment, if you get a slot please go with appointment. Else too much time waste.

For new health card application make sure your employment letter has all details as per photo attached and employment letter should be with current date.

I don't even like to post my experience there. It was the most worst experience I had faced in Canada.

I waited an hour and a half in the walk in line just to get a ticket number. Worse location. Only good if you have an appointment (if your able to make one). Not good for simple tasks like renewals. Very busy location, focuses on new immigrant’s applicants.

I left before I received a ticket number and went to the location across the street.

Anyone who need to apply for health card through Work permit this is the only location in Brampton that offer this, documents required for this so that you don’t need to revisit:
1. Job letter (must mention permanent or contract for at least 6 months, full time 40hrs, date of start, your role and pay, sign and contact number of manager, employer must be in Ontario, on company letterhead)
2. Work Permit
3. Passport
4. Driving License
Address and name must match, additionaly you can take bank or credit card statements if you are on spouse WP

Its better to book a appointment but you don’t grt it very easily so walk-ins are very busy, you need to be there at least around 7: 30am so that you can be in first 15-20 person, they take only walk-ins from 8: 30 to 9: 15, then the appointment starts and they move both lines consecutively but preferred the appointments ones. So, no guarantee of getting the services if you are in walk-in as its a long line event around 9AM

So be there early and have documents handy because it will take time, you normaly require till 10 or 10: 30am if you are here before it opens as system takes time to update the info. Staff and guard is very friendly they will guide you. Hope it helps

Thank you to Garrett or Garnet at this location! I was waiting in the queue for over 20 mins when he came out and spoke to everyone waiting that there was another location across the street that can assist us with everything driver related. I went to 165 crystler across the road and was served in less then 5 minutes. Thank you again

Very slow stuff here and not all windows running.door keeper who issue the tickets is also so much talkative n do slow work 0 out of 5

Long waiting queue but met helpful two officials Ms. Lila and Ms. Lisa, both are very patient and helpful. Had a good experience

It is always better to have an appointment as, appointment is given priority as compared to walk-ins. We had an appointment at around 1: 45 on Thursday afternoon, but we reached half an hour early. We were accepted and got the token number. We waited for around 30-40 mins after getting the token number for our turn and it was done within 10 mins.
The staff is very good and fast, they try to help you as much as possible provided you are prepared and have all the documents with you. We had an amazing experience as there was no rush.

I had a seamless experience. I went in early at 8: 20 am. There was a small que waiting for the service center to open. It took me 45 mins to get my new vehicle permit.

My recommendation would be to book an appointment, as there is a dedicated line for the service appointments. Also, the appointments are prioritized over walk-ins.

Overall good experience.

Unprofessional staff, so rude and they have zero communication skills. If they don’t want to attend the public ethically they must resign from their jobs.

Today visited this location Service was really quick and staff was really nice. The lady on counter who give token was really sweet. Apart from that Joanne (counter no 2) lady she is so sweet and nice. Did an amazing job and was very helpful. Thank you so much for such a nice service.

You will either spend 1-3 hours waiting in a line or 2 weeks waiting for an appointment to come. They could hire more workers to speed up

Excellent job by a staff who attended us inside. We appreciate that and like to remember that staff on next Diwali time. Security guy was courteous. There was a long line of over 50 people outside. I mean traffic of people. Whose job is that to look into, you know very well. It took our two hours to wait and reach upto the door.

When I was there there was a long line. It looks like shortage of staff. I had to wait 90 minutes to just get token. There is only one staff on reception counter. They are taking long time for verification. Sorry to say, but their attitude towards work was not appreciative.

Worst place to go. I’ll recommend to go any service Canada but don’t go at this location. Longggggggg longgggg waiting. If they gonna take the person with appointments only then how they gonna do with walk-ins. They should mention that these particular hours for walk-ins and these for appointments. I wish I could give a ZERO STAR.

Rude and un professional. I waited for 2 hours in the line and the lady was not willing help at all. Avoid this location please.

There is no option to give a negative star otherwise I would like to give that. All staff there knows only how to tell some excuses. I went there 3 times and each time they say different things and they themselves don’t know what they need.

This service Ontario location needs considerate staff. The security personnel here is pathetic and rude. People are okay to wait for sometime but with this arrogant behavior of their staff near the doors, it makes it much more difficult. Kindly consider to change the staff, especially the security.

Worst service i have ever seen.the staff have poor skills to provide service.i have been here for 3 times and again on tge third day they come to know that they are not servings walkin.the lady gave illogical reason that they are short staff.

We have to wait 2-3 hours, if we come without appointment, So always take appointment first, then go. Otherwise lot of time waste.

Service ontario this location is very good, I want to appreciate the staff over here for thier efforts to accommodate all the public in a friendly way and according to the need, especially in this pandemic situation.

Continuously the staff including the officers checks the people in queue outside to see if they can address them at this location and if that service can be done online and if they need appointment etc,

Very Very bad service. They are not ready to take walk in persons. Just taking who booked appointments.
They should hire one person atleast who can deal with walk in people.

After my 4th visit here to get a OHIP application in after satisfying all the requirements on the Ontario website, they asked me to come back again because there was 1 missing word in the employment letter. I have given up on my pursuit of getting a OHIP card thanks to this incompetent service Ontario.

If you are in an urgent situation, do not visit this service Ontario as all they'll do is waste half your day and ask you to come back another day. Tbvh, I have seen better services in the third world country I've immigrated from. It's terrible really.

Worst service ever in my life. Trying to slack off by letting fewer ppl in as much as possible they could do. Had to wait 35 degree outside for an hour and half the other day. Plus, could not find a work-ethic from any staff in this location. Strongly recommend to visit other Service Ontario. This location needs to be closed permanently to save public's time and resources.

Very poor service.had an appointment at 3pm and still waiting until 4 because lady is busy in her stuff also just went off from her counter.please tell them to focus on us because we take off from work to get our documents and they are just ignoring.

Worst experience i had an appointment today at 9: 30 am and it takes around 2 hours to get in and the security guard from skyview security is very rude and also the front desk lady very rude they don’t know how to talk

Worst experience ever. They dont tell people in advance that they prefer appointments only.walk-ins are not entertained so people have to stand in line for days. I went there at 7 am, the lady there didnot tell us they would only accept appointments, when i asked her around 1pm she said there is a very less chance of you getting in because they accept appointments only. Worst location. Security and staff are not professional and just think they own the “Service Ontario”. Just avoid and get appointments somewhere else.

The security guard girl with glasses was managing the lines impressively. Today I visited for my health card appointment 9: 45 am and she responded very nicely and she was moving the lines very quick n smoothly and also provided forms to fill to save everyone’s time. The staff was also good. I was really impressed by the management of young Punjabi security girl. Thanks for helping me out:)

It was really crowded. We went there @ 4 and the security person said there is no chance we can make it before it closes.

There is one more serivce Ontario right across the main road. It always empty.

It’s government official we can’t do anything don’t know where to complain. Who ever is in possession of taking action kindly reply with contact details or email I’ll tell full story.
Staff needs serious training.

Please please take appointment, they take walkin but occasionally. 30 people waiting more than 3 hrs and 4: 45 they say them we dont take walkins. Other S. O.redirects to them for advance services like health card and sorry to say but they are not service oriented. Security dont even tell anyone that they are not taking walk ins - No sign board nothing printed says they are not taking walk ins - We need better service after paying huge taxes atleast this is what we deserve? Security did not gave priority to pregnent lady in queue.but she allowed one random girl who lied she has appointmenr they did not verify and adjusted for one who dont have appointmnet.they strictly prioritize appointment only.dont care if person in walking waiting for 4 hrs.

The customer service was worst-ever at first desk. That customer service lady looked like she doesn’t feel to serve customer in a respectful manner

It was worse and worse experience for me. Lot of people waiting even they make an appointment time. I spent my whole day from one location to another and did not get any result. It was head for me to get a day off from my work. In brampton according to population there should be more locations and staff as well something to do online it is not easy for work permit holder to get result from online process.

Very very unfriendly and rude staff. This is the 3rd time they rejected my application. Every time they just make new excuse.

This location is getting worse and worse. Lot of people waiting even they have ran out of their appointment time. I don't know shortage of staff or even they have mentioned book an appointment online at their premises.

What is the point of appointment if you are not taking people in on time. My appointment was 11: 15 and on 11: 30, security guard still calling for 10: 30 appointment. Worst experience outside. Prople who are with baby or elder atleast they should care about their time. Waste of time. Should respect people’s time.

Worst service in whole Canada. Actually being a Canadian I’m ashamed such places are allowed to exist in Canada. Security lady (very rude) runs the place & tells the manager of the center to go sit inside in her office & not come out. They made a very weak lady the manager of this center & no employee over there listens to her. It’s actually funny

Worst experience. I didn’t find them helpful at all. Booked appointment for 3 times. Visited branch and every-time they refused my application for health card with different excuse. Seems like they doesn’t want to serve people. Even I booked appointment then also have to wait in line for 2 hours. Security lady seems to be very rude. I requested her that I am pregnant cant stand in line for long hours. I have booked appointment if she can send me as a priority. I answered to stand in a line and wait till my turn. I didn’t understand why people come for job if they are not ready to understand someone’s situation.

Worst customer service ever.employees don't know how to behave especially that receptionist (12 pm Wednesday)
