Closed half an hour early because they are over capacity. They posted a note on the door which apparently makes it ok to close essential public services out if schedule.

Service is contracted out by private corporations, Ontario pays them per service rendered so they don't care if people waste their time in lines or can't get something done. Leeches!

The girl with black and green hair is disgustingly rude and speaks down on minorities who struggle speaking English. She’s a minority herself so I don’t understand why there’s no empathy for older immigrants.

This isn’t my first time visiting this location. It’s been years since I started going here and without fail, this particular employee never fails to trigger me everytime. Luckily I’ve never had to interact with her but the way she causes a scene and berates people at the counter is unsettling.

I get that people have long, hard days at work and it’s not easy being in customer service. But to berate and humiliate your first customer of the day?

To the green haired employee:

You work for the government, and the people you serve at the counters are all tax payers. Get off your high-horse and treat people with respect. Reevaluate your life and quit your job if you’re so unhappy. Don’t take it out on customers - it’s literally your job to provide customer service.

Horrible wait time don't even bother wasting time going here drive out to a location with less population

Rude staff thats on a power trip. The green haired service lady was utterly rude and condescending. If this is how beaurucrats are taught to behave then you're better off not coming here. Will not reccomend you come here. I'd give a zero star if it was possible.

I have an appointment for health card renewal and photo card. I was done in less than 5 mins! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Book an appointment so you don't have to queue. According to the staff, the best time to book an appointment is between 10-11am on Wednesday as that's their lean time.

One person was attending during the time I was waiting, it took me 2: 30 just to replace my license. Most of the time one person was in the phone talking and there’s no consideration for peoples waiting on line trying to get service. I waste my all afternoon.

Extremely under staffed. Every single time I come here the line extends well beyond the entrance. I am counting 26 people lining up and only 3 clerks, one of them with constant camera issues, not to mention the people that come and bypass the line because of X or Y reason. They need to understand the value of people's time. Don't be cheap and hire at least 2 more clerks

Very nice service and quick. Though it is Tuesday so I came hoping it wouldn't be as busy as Thursday through Monday.

Great customer service and staff. Very helpful. Always go usually in the morning and in and out within 5 to 10 minutes. This location is a must to visit. Never rude. More locations need to be like this.

Only 3 offices open on a Saturday in the general area. Online says that close at 1. But They close the doors due to high volume at 12: 30. Even if you were in line your not get in. Maybe we shouldn’t have multiple families of seven go into transfer a vehicle over.

The are at least 3 people not working on their stations. Plus they keep entertaining random people outside queue

Arrived at 3: 15pm been one hour and they have addressed only 5 people

This privately owned Service Ontario is terrible.staff are not trained well at all about government policy.

I had a terrible experience with Service Canada at this location. Despite their only being a few people ahead of me in the queue, I still had to wait for approximately 1 hour to renew my son’s health card. When it was my turn, It only took 2 minutes to finish my renewal.

The black lady sitting in the Q&A desk is rude and lack of professional knowledge. Worst human being I have seen during the past few years. Hopefully the Mercedes car key you clipped to your lapel will bring you some wisdom.

I would highly recommend not going to this location. The customer service is absolutely horrendous. There were 5 ladies along with a gentlemen working when I went in. The lady who assisted me, I believe her name was K had the worst attitude I have ever experienced. It was very disappointing to see that an office that is supposed to serve the public is employing people that are so tremendously rude for no apparent reason. What made the situation worse for me was when she called her manager who was another lady to verify a document I submitted. The manager once again, was extremely condescending and not willing to listen to the person standing in front of her, even when she later realized she was at fault and did not read the document provided correctly. I really hope this was just an off day and the employees at this branch are usually better than this.

I was there on Sep. 22, to renew my health card & saw that I was 17th in the queue & mentally I prepped myself for a couple of hours wait.
But I was done in less than an hour.
The ONLY guy (with glasses) was the one who processed my application & he was superfast.took about 7 mins, with photo & I was out.

I visited this location on July 29,2022. I payed fines, changed address and renewed my plates. Terrible experience. I paid my fines and was issued my registration with the wrong address. The clerk admitted their mistake and informed me that they would have to charge me again to fix their mistake. I paid the almost $250 again and was told that I would receive my money back in 10 business days. I have yet to receive my reimbursement now going on day 15. When inquiring on how to follow up regarding my repayment I was told that I had to write and mail a letter to do so. A word of caution when visiting this branch of there is a sign on the clerk’s kiosk that says “in training” avoid at all costs, even if they say that they can preform the task. This was the single worst experience I have ever had dealing with Service Ontario. Good luck.

Extremely poor srvc - wasted time in queue for over an hr and in the end i was informed that the info provided on fon by srvc ontario was not accurate

The waiting lines are very long, office is very small, Staff is polite but not very efficient or determined to help rather they keep on creating excuses to not complete the task.inuding travel it took me 3 hours to visit here yet my card wasn't created

Friendly staff and quick service. A small place that can quickly get crowded. Has an accessible counter which is not visible. Wish they had that counter first instead of the last one.

We were in this location Saturday (9 July, 2022) around 12 o’clock and we had a frustrating experience. First of all the employee (a girl, I don’t know her name) underestimated me by directing a joke to my husband because the one who pays the bills and take care of things related to our amenities is usually him. What does she have to do with it? Sarcastic, inelegant and inflexible. Couldn’t renew the car’s sticker because, as she said, the insurance’s system was off… She also refused to renew my document, because was not satisfied with the paper we provided. Leaving there we went to another location, where the employee did everything for us in 5 minutes with extreme competence, knowledge and politeness (which is curious because I believe the system is the same and we certainly provided the exact same items). A little empathy never hurt anyone…

Pathetic experience, most unmanaged service Ontario location.
We waited in queue for nearly two hours only to hear that new health cards are not made in this particular location and were redirected to other location.
There should have been someone to check and validate before wasting so much time.
They should introduce a basic token issuing system to categorise services and speed up.

Fast service if renew Ohio card and Ontario card, small hall, social distance fills it up with only 20 people, 4 out of 5 counters working, less than 40 minutes done for me (long line up)

Had an appointment booked for 10: 30 today and showed up a few minutes early. I was called up just before 10: 30 and everything went smoothly. Very impressed with the experience I had today at this location.especially since I thought the appointment time would be treated like a doctor's office.

Adequately staffed and barely a line up. I was in and out in 15 minutes, including me getting my DL from my car which was needed to do the vehicle registration. They even fill the forms for you at the counter.

Wrong business hours posted on the door. It's closed on Thursdays. I called up central contact center of service Ontario and they had no information about it. As per them it should be open till 7 pm on Thursdays.

Usually service Ontario lines are awful but this location wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. I was in and out in 20 minutes. I didn't get the name of the representative that helped me however I was treated very well.

Fast kind reliable. Lots of people walk to the desk not prepared at all, and just yell at those guys I feel very bad

Went the 2nd time to update my g2/m2 as per directions by driver test centre. Long story short, since November 24 I was given the runaround between service Ontario and the drive center in order to pay $90 and get my new card issued.

Went to service Ontario 930am on a Thursday and I was in and out. Good service after all. Got my g2 finally issued but I don't appreciate the runaround was given.

Quite place, never knew it exist, staff were polite and quick.no crowd at all, the best place to get your things done quickly

This is a necessary evil as you have to interact with this agency for many things. There is ALWAYS a lineup, so I don't know why the government doesn't address this.

Weekday morning wait times are OK (15-30) mins. Prompt, friendly service, no appointment currently needed

Got to 257 Dundas E. Service Ontario & no lineup outside - waited maybe 20 minutes to renew my health card & get a new photo. Extremely friendly & helpful people.

Service was prompt and professional. Conor attended to us and he was friendly, efficient and professional. Recommended.

Like absolutely any ServiceOntario licensing front you’re going to wait. I suggest showing up in the afternoon when the lineup isn’t as bad as the early mornings. However, I’ve come here multiple times and appreciate the staff because they have a good time, and the organization (although now a days we line up outside so the fresh air and sunshine helps to calm the wait time).

I visited this specific location of service Ontario with my wife for her address update on basic documents and updating our license plate. Overall we had to wait in a queue for about 20 minutes, which is too less as compared to my previous experience with other branches of Service Ontario. The lady over the counter was friendly and very Helpful. Overall process was smooth as glass!

Terrible experience, I left the place shaking. I went in to renew my health card and this young lady, in the last chair from the door, was talking down to me from the beginning. They need to follow instructions, of course, but not everyone is familiar with the process, and some of us need a little guidance, not a humiliating experience.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had was at this location with a kind gentleman named, Ehsaan. Helped me with all my wants and needs, very professional and kind. This is going to be my go to service ontario location moving forward and I urge Service Canada to give Mr. Ehsaan a raise or promotion as to how professionally he deals with his customers! Hats off to you sir & looking forward to dealing with you in the future!

Typical Service Ontario location, under staffed small space and too many citizens needing to get government business done, staff tries to keep up by being helpful and as pleasant as possible.
Let’s do the math, 4 staff trying to serve a line up of 25 people, if it takes 2 minutes to serve us that’s a lot of time standing in line and we know it’s more an like a minimum of 5min to serve an individual with the various gov items that need to be taken care of in person.

Why only open from 8-1pm on Saturday and not open on Sunday?
Upper management needs to wake up and staff up on the weekends so we the tax payers can get Government of Ontario business done.

Worst place in earth to go for any services, staff rude and not knowledgeable.avoid at any cost.other location are better in every way.

This office just work for everything related to traffic so if your intentions is to do ohip this office doesn't do that check other location

Definitely one of the best Service Ontario locations i have visited. I went here to get my license plate sticker renewed and the service was quick and prompt.

Worst Service Ontario ever. If possible please try to avoid this location and go to another. Giving hard time for unnecessary reasons and they are making their own rules those are government had not required.

I had an interaction with Rania the hijabi lady, she has an outstanding courteous manner towards her clients, she explained everything thoroughly and helped me with every step of my transaction, I just can't thank her enough and I heartily hope she becomes the manager bcs of the excellent knowledge and patience she has got, it will 100% profit the company and the society

Today I visited that place for updating some documents and I attended by the first counter girl. She was so cooperative and helpful that she not only updated my documents but also treat me.

One of the worst locations to visit. Absolutely no customer service skills, the staff look miserable and are pretty rude to patrons that come in for service. They eat at their work desks, which to me is unacceptable.

I went there to apply for health card for my husband, daughter and myself and we received good service from the lady wearing a hijab. She was very nice and gave us some tips how to proceed as a new immigrant in Canada. Thanks a lot.

As a newcomer I got a bad experience from them. I used the first counter (which is a table actually). The staff was in her mid 50's maybe, and was very rude.
