My name is Syed. I’m using my wife’s account to leave review because I’m having some issue with my personal gmail account.
Today, I took my Mother to this place to apply for her temporary Ontario ID card. We been served by a lady name ‘Jag’ at counter 6.
First, rather than looking after our request to apply for Ontario ID card. She started asking why doesn’t your mother apply for G1 instead. I said she is not prepared for G1 yet. But she was like no you should apply for that because when in future she will apply it will be a long process cancelling Ontario ID card first and apply for G1. I didn’t understand that in the first place. Why she doesn’t simply do what we asked for and keep forcing to go for G1 license. When I said no madam go ahead with what we asked for. She got rude right away and we clearly see anger on her face and then she gave my mother a paper to fill and sign. I asked for help and she got made why you don’t understand I told you three times. I said why are you so rude, have some respect and talk nicely. I think she had a long day or an old lady like her shouldn’t do long hours, maybe, or require attitude training for sure.
Before leaving, I asked her name. She said her name is ‘Jag’ which I’m sure is not a complete name because I’ve so many Indian friends and I know this is not a full first name. Well, I asked is it full name or you’ve last name as well. She said this is my full name.
I request the manager or concerned person there to please do some counselling of your staff on regular basis and make sure your staff stays nice with customer even in the last hour of work day. It was around 5pm today. Our ticket number was 228. Any questions, feel free to reply. I can visit again to discuss this. Thank you.

Unprofessional service, specially management not helpful at all, forcing pay the fees for non sense service, pointing and referring to call back to online for help, I contacted called them, telephone line service Ontario representative confirmed that the manager at that location was giving incorrect info and she should help, they escalating higher

Where do you find these grumpy people to work at gov't offices? Went in for an ID card and health card for my just landed wife and the lady at the counter only heard only health card and asked for proof of address. How can we have a proof of address unless you give us a proof of address which is the ID card? Hire some people that smile and are a little happy to help instead of these grinches

Very poor service by a lady at desk #3. Went in for a simple health card renewal for my child and made it the most difficult process I have ever been through. I left and came back while on the phone with a customer service representative to clarify if I had all the correct documents -which I did- she reassured me this should be a easy process, double checked with 4 of her colleges to make sure if everything was good. The lady at desk #3 seemed as if she was determined to have me waste my time.
If you need anything done at a service Ontario, I suggest you go to the one on King Street by Jackson Square. This one is a joke.

Efficient location. Waited 15-20 minutes with about that many people ahead of me.
