How can you write a test here when the lineup wraps around the whole place and people are arguing/phones are going off and there’s absolutely no professionalism being enforced?

To someone patient, gentle and kind in the Collingwood driving centre who's name starts with "L". Perhaps Lisa or Lynn:

Went here for my g2 road test. The ladies at the front desk were helpful and cheerful, and my examiner, Ron, was very no-nonsense and straight to the point, but he wasn’t rude or otherwise unpleasant. Would recommend based on my experience!

They refuse to pick up the phone to answer a 30 second question that would save me 40 minutes of my life for them to say “we don’t do those tests today” in person. Apparently if you don’t work for service Ontario your time isn’t important. Improve your ignorant selves.

The energy you give is the energy you receive. I find it humourous they have so many signs up about how to treat them, but the service they give in return is pathetic. I knew a lady once who wasn't hired because she wasn't aggressive or pushy enough. You don't provide a service and you certainly need a refresher in basic manners and positive energy.

The people there makes us feel to die.sad that we cannot choose not to go there as we need things get done. I prefer 1 hour drive to Owen sound or Barrie and it is much better than seeing those people there at Collingwood. 06/01/2022 morning staff gave me the worst day of my life.

It took longer to figure out how to use the parking metre than to lineup and get all my license and health card renewal needs taken care of. Great job

This is the worst service Ontario location I have ever been to. The employees that I have had contact with are rude and seem to take pleasure in not providing a basic level of service. Go elsewhere.

The tester here is the absolute rudest person I have ever come across. No hello, didn't even tell me his name, and made no conversation at all in attempt to make me feel comfortable for my test. The route is not very good either, roads were very uneven and potholes were terrible. On top of all of this, the tester is very, very rude, and miserable. Please do not go here for any test.

Fantastic service and extremely friendly staff. They might have hired new people because I didn't find these ladies rude or impatient at all.

Went in to Service Ontario this morning, the staff were friendly and had zero attitude. That was refreshing compared to past visits over the years. Thank you staff for being friendly, professional and efficient!

Took 10 minutes to renew licence. Staff were friendly and service was exceptional. Will continue to use them for needed service.

No complaints. Avoid the lunch time hour rush. They do give you a few options when choosing your plates too instead of the first one that they grab. Been going there since 2009

Terrible experience- took my m2 driving test results so I could get my my. Told they could not do as they are not drivetest location at the moment so I needed to drive to Owen sound to do. But Owen sound is closed on Friday- could they not have mentioned before I drove over an hour. Unfriendly and unhelpful

Service ontario and drivetest two separate parts of the government the people that give you road test are examiners not instructors considering the verbal abuse that I have seen directed at the service ontario ladies it is not a wonder that they stay as pleasant as they do

Extremely understaffed. Needs to be open more days per week to reduce the absurd waiting times. More than half of your life will be spent waiting in line at Service Ontario for trivial matters. Online methods of obtaining documents should have been implemented a decade ago.

The Drive Test examiner is the rudest person I have ever met: Did not even bother to say hi for common courtesy, talk super fast and like a robot. Once I passed my test I said ‘thank you’ and she did not even look at me and just got out of my car. At 9: 30 am she was already done for the week. Clearly the people of Drive Test have no soul. The only nice person is the young lady that checks you in. I am glad I passed so I never ever have to go to that place again.

Rude staff who get off on making people wait 3 hours to boon a road test. Give you health cards forms to go full out after you wait in line for 40 mins than you fill out the info wait on line another hour and than than tell you or you son is 16 he needs photo I'd. Couldn't tell you that 3 hours ago when you get there and tell them you are there for your teens health care. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND GI TO BARRIE, ELMVILLE OR STAYNER WHERE THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL.

Receptionists extremely rude and refuse to give assistance when needed. They seem to scowl and roll their eyes whenever I asked a question, so I ended up leaving out of frustration. Anyone who is considering doing any sort of licensing should avoid coming to Collingwood at all costs. The service in Barrie or Owensound is much better.

Great service, usually no lines. The staff are courteous and efficient. If you're not prepared when you come to the desk, even when ALL the info is online and you received forms and instructions in the mail.then you are the problem, not the staff. Negative reviews here tell me that those people are the skids who expect someone to explain everything and take up everyones time when they could have done their own homework = Losers. Don't blame the great staff in Service Ontario.

Driving examiner was fair but needs to talk slower! Phew she talks fast! The lines are really long though, so if you’re heading in give yourself at least an hour so you aren’t late. Parking lot is very busy and full so be careful.

If you have what you need, the ladies are very nice! If you don't, they can be a little short but I'm sure they deal with all types of folks that get very angry

Julie from service Ontario driving instructor is not fit to test young people and give them there start in the driving world she is rude and negative and bullish she should be fired and replaced with instructor who make it easy and a friendly environment for young people

As everyone knows, the service here is terrible, with employees who couldn't care less about their clientele - and why would they, they have no reason to, as any complaint about Service Ontario branches go nowhere, and their union prevents any of them from being reprimanded or let go. Their rules are archaic and the people enforcing them lack any common sense in figuring out the point of the questions they ask. It's pathetic. They're leaving a horrible impression of unions and the public sector on people, and it's too bad because they're feeding into the very stupidity that will eventually have their union jobs destroyed in place of private sector positions where there are actually consequences for poor performance.
