Sewing and Alterations Uxbridge

I had a sports equipment alteration that needed to be done in a hurry. It was a tricky alteration, but Margaret was able to figure it out. Margaret did an amazing job, and the quality of work was excellent. So lucky to have found her. Many thanks to her.

Had a couple of hockey jerseys modified since our player has grown mid season. Great work and really fast.

Also just had repairs to the seams in a goalie chest protector and pads. Awesome work, I wasn’t expecting Margaret to be so good at equipment fixes as well!

They are AMAZING! We had a raincoat fixed and also a tarp for a tent. Both done perfectly and now look new! The tarp had been shredded by our dog and now looks better than when we got it (if that’s possible)! Would highly recommend!

Margaret is amazing!
I accidentally bought a dress with some tricky straps, making it tough to adjust the top to fit me better. She came up with a solution and had the alterations and hem for my dress done within a week!
I will definitely be calling her again if I ever need alterations done and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her!

Margaret is simply the best! She altered 2 pairs of pants for me that needed the waist taken in. The pants fit perfectly now and the alterations are flawless. I went to Margaret for alterations of my Mother Of The Bride dress, the dress had to be shortened by 5 inches. There was two layers of fabric and it was a lot of work. Margaret did a fantastic job and was a joy to work with. The dress was done in two days. I will definitely recommend Margaret for sure!

I wanted to have the zipper on my jacket replaced but didn't want to spend too much money. Margaret provided excellent service at an affordable cost and in a timely manner. She took off length in the arms and made nice cuffs to fir comfortably around my wrists and she shortened the length of the coat.

I just had 3 pants modified, all to hemmed and two with wastes taken in. Perfect results and fast too!

Margaret replaced a zipper on my son's coat that had been previously replaced by another seamstress just 7 weeks before and it broke. Margaret replaced the entire zipper and in less than 2 hours I heard back from her that it was ready. It's excellent quality and she even put a toggle on the zipper for my son to easily pull it up and down. We are very happy with the finished product and Margaret was a real pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend her!

I had several pieces that I took to Margaret and she was AMAZING. Very friendly and warm. Lovely family around her too. AND her sewing was GREAT and very reasonably priced. I had three pant hems done and they were perfect AND she took an old bridesmaid gown of mine and altered it to be a short cocktail dress. It's so adorable now!
