S&G Fries and Burgers

Went there with a friend and got a poutine, food was hot and fesh, fries remained crispy even down to the last bite! Cheese was excellent and gravy was perfect, and the man who served us was so kind and pleasent, have told all my friends to check this place out! If you're considering trying, I HIGHLY recommend!

Hay best poutine in Ottawa. Amazing portion size for the $$$. Been going for years. Why go to a fast food franchise. Spend less and get more food. Interact or cash. Picnic tables out side.

Good fries and good poutine. Onion rings and chicken burger was ok. Could have been better. Nice place to eat out. Good service.

This was a big disappointment. Everything we got left a literal bad taste in our mouth. Not sure if it was the frying oil or what but it was awful, we had to go eat ice cream to cleanse our palate. Fries were soggy, gravy was burnt tasting, only the cheese has any flavor. Just go literally anywhere else.

I’ve stopped by here for the past decade and it’s always consistent. This was the first place where I tried poutine so I always stop by when I’m in town. The previous owner pasted it down to his nephew I think, who’s also doing a great job and staying consistent. I’ve only had the poutine but they do have a more elaborate menu. The gravy, cheese curbs and fried make a perfect combination and very easy to share. If you’ve never had poutine, this is a must.

Their fries are really good, well seasoned and reasonably priced. The owner is also super friendly in a genuine way.

The service is efficient and I never have to wait long.

During lunch time there are a lot of kids as there is a school around, but otherwise almost little line up.

Very friendly owner, always willing to talk shop and is very polite. On top of this he serves amazing food, you can tell they have many years of experienced by the quality they put out. I would give them 10 Stars if I could

Their poutine is my favorite but they NEVER open at the time they say they will. I’ve waited more than 15 minutes past their opening time, super frustrating especially if you plan your lunch break around it.
