If you are assigned to Susan Johnson for your claims, I suggest requesting a different staff member. You won't receive your cheque for over a month nor will she do anything about it.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of responsiveness and support from SGI. From September 19th, 2023, to November 23rd, 2023, there was no action taken on my son’s claim, leaving me to cover the costs of a rental car out of my pocket despite their minimal $1500 coverage. Their focus seems to prioritize their own benefit over customer satisfaction. As soon as I can, I’ll be switching to a different company. Would strongly advise against choosing SGI due to their inability to assist and prioritize customer needs.

Rates increased $60 a month for absolutely no reason, except “inflation”. I was also given no notice of the increase, it was just applied. I am not your prisoner. There are other insurance companies and today I will be switching. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

My husband was in a car accident on May 22 rd - called SGI to file the claim. Have heard nothing since. Called again and filled again to make sure they got the info. NOTHING. I can’t even believe it. We are out of pocket for a rental and the car was written off. It’s a week since his accident and no one has cared to call back to make sure we are ok or to expense us for the rental we do have coverage for or to touch base about getting our car dealt with the towing company. Do Not use this company if you actually want to be cared for. We used sonnet for 5 years before and switched here in October for 50 bucks less a month. What a huge mistake. Clearly id should have paid the 50 bucks a month for actual prompt service.

These people don't care about you. Don't waste your money. If you are in an accident they have a policy that allows them to send your car to the scrap yard before its even been determined a total loss. These pencil pushers that are making these calls are not licensed mechanics and should not be making decisions like this with out an actual estimate completed by a licensed mechanic or repair shop of the clients choosing not the adjusters. My car was hit in Kitchener so instead of sending it back to my dealership in Brampton they towed it to London 150 km in the wrong direction because that is where my adjusters preferred shop was. (its in my recorded phone call).

Not bad, but rates are being raised for a miraed of reasons, no tickets or fines, same as the rest, start off great, downhill ftom there

I'd love to go into detail about fabrizia and her inability to do her job and the list of excuses as to why there are so many "delays" but the end result is the same, AVOID this place!

I was given a quote $109 a month. They called me a couple of months later to tell me they made a mistake, and it's now $165 a month. Not impressed!

I would not recommend this place. They auto renewed my car insurance and increased the cost $800.

If I could choose no stars I would have! Worst customer service experience to date. Have been waiting over 3 months to have things finalized with an adjuster. Claim has been passed around between adjusters, zero communication unless I initiate it with multiple attempts, my daughters physical
Medical condition is now
Being exasperated by the lack of action on their part as well as my mental
Health. Insurance is a binding contract and they clearly can not meet their end of this agreeement. Our adjuster Nikhil has done nothing to reach out to us and we have had our broker attempting to contact him as well as ourselves. Clearly next steps need to be ombudsman or legal council. Beyond poor business! Do not put yourselves in this position! Go elsewhere!

Tell you they have the best prices when their prices are not even close to the best, I came to find out other insurers were over $1500 a year cheaper yet once your policy is started there is a $900 cancelation fee. Horrible service times but at least they offer callback, highly don't reccomend they just want to take all your money. I made sure to set a dozen reminders to cancel my policy at the end of the year

Would give 0 stars! Stay away from this company! They will not help you out during an accident, even though you are 0% at fault! Keeps giving me the run around and now stranded for 2 months with no vehicle! Worst customer service!

I have very bad experience with SGI. They cheat with costumer's. They also black mailing. The lady name is saminah Roy she try to took my last my payment. She's threating me.

Un accommodating. Was with them for not even a week and switched based on the lack of effort. Also they will never answer the phones.

I have mix reviews, some of the brokers are great with excellent customer service, but when it comes to payments they take it whenever they want it seems then play dumb. Prices are good, no complaints there.
