We ordered catering for my nephew's birthday. Everything was amazing and our guests loved the food.

Tasty food with wide varieties of dishes to choose from. Loved their tikka and Achari aloo baaingan. Recommended.

Had catering done for 30 people.

Hands down the best catering. We’ve been getting catering from there for a long time now. We’ve tried several other places but still go back to shaheen foods. The food is fresh and authentic, prices are very reasonable and service is always top notch. Highly recommend their chana, veal pulao (very flavourful), and fish pakora. Their karhi pakora is really good. A must try!

Just a heads up, since their food is made fresh everyday, they do run out of specials, so call ahead!

We had Shaheen Food Centre for our holiday party in our workplace. All the staff are surprisingly and absolutely love the food we had. We called them 2 days before our party and they catered us even it is a short notice. The price for delivery is very reasonable considering our workplace is in Toronto West area. We only pay $50 for the delivery charge. When the food came, it is still hot and fresh. The food delivery package is completely secured and clean.

We had party trays of Veal Biryani, Kofta, Chow mein, Fish fillet, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Chana Masala, and Naan. Plus they gave us complimentary sides and salads. The best BUTTER CHICKEN and BIRYANI in town.

I am highly recommending this place for your next party or event. Aside from very accommodating and friendly staff, the quality of food is very commendable.

We catered food for 215+ guests and it was amazing. Received many great compliments and everyone loved the food, I 100% recommend Shaheen for any small or big event. The taste, packaging, quality, and presentation of the food was excellent, will definitely be ordering from Shaheen again in the near future

Excellent catering service by Shaheen Catering for my 220 guests and the food was a super hit with my guests. The barbecue was amazing and got lots of great feedback from my wedding guests about it.

Shaheen is now my go to place for authentic Pakistani cuisine.
I have been ordering a weekly takeout for the past 2 months and have not been disappointed with the quality and taste of their dishes.
On my list is their Veal pulao (this one disappears really quickly), Veal korma, Nihari, Kadai chicken and Chicken korma.
Bun kabab is a must for a quick snack.
I do drive for 30 minutes to reach this venue so that should say it all.
This resto offers value for money and the staff are always cheerful and friendly.
I would ask foodies to try this place and see for themselves.
You will not be disappointed.

Ordered food for 40 people including veal Biryani, chana masala, chicken karahi, beef seekh Kabab, ghulab jamun, naaan
Good: Authentic spices and taste in everything.
Need improvement: size of chicken pieces in karahi were very small and uneven.
Naan is not really a tandoori Naan what we generally get at restaurant. Quantity of seekh kebab is not enough for 40 ppl and need 20% more to accommodate. Spice in Biryani was medium but felt in between medium and hot.

I ordered catering from here and my order was wrong and incomplete. I didn’t receive the salad that I ordered and they gave me crispy naan instead of the ones I ordered. I am so unsatisfied with this service, what is the point of ordering catering if the host is to make things themselves because of a restaurants incomplete service.

Food is tasty and fresh. Only qualm I have is they refuse to give receipt when the payment is in cash. I wonder why they do such a thing.

Tried their chicken biryani. Chicken pieces were somewhat burnt on the outside. The rice tasted wierd. It had some soft onions in the biryani which seemed like onions in the gravy had not been cooked properly. Pretty wierd taste, not at all anywhere near Pakistani food. Sheer disappointment.

In Ramadan we did catering for iftar, veal biryani has no meat literally no meat.when open the lid of tray, Guest said oh no meat only rice.

I travelled different places and tried different styles of Biriyani in India and Pakistan and I know each Biriyani has its unique flavour and taste. The veal Biriyani in Shaheen Foods is one of The Best Biriyani in my list. I enjoy the favor and taste of the rice and meat in every bite of my mouth and it’s so tempting to eat again and again. I tried chicken and goat Biriyani at Shaheen’s but Veal Biriyani is outstanding. The meat is marinated to perfection. I am a huge fan of Biriyani and I was hunting for the best Biriyani in and around GTA from Scarborough to Mississauga and read multiple reviews and drive to different restaurant to try the taste and Shaheen’s Veal Biriyani is still no1 in my list. I am sold to the person who prepares the Veal Biriyani at this place. Their Veal Biriyani is only available on Friday and it well be sold out by 1 pm. I call them and place the order in the morning or it will be missed. Long live Shaheen’s Veal Biriyan master! “Taste is in the tongue of the beholder” I found mine, wish you find your favourite!

I frequently get food from this shop and honestly they’re the best in the GTA. The owner is so generous and really nice too. Sometimes if I drop by when the shop is closing he gives EXTRA food for free. The food is ALWAYS fresh and tastes AMAZING. My family and my friends always come to this place for catering and take out. Literally every time we cater from here our guests want to know where the food is from. The owner is so nice too if there’s ever an issue he’s always ready to try and resolve it. They have the best customer service and the best food!

Quality has gone down the drain. Small Briyani tray had less than three pieces (not legs) mean one and half leg of chicken. Tray heaped with rice. Just Caveat emptor so that customers will notice it. See the quantity of rice without a single bite of chicken in it. Disappointed as it was consistent for the longest time. And I am posting it after noticing it 2nd time.

Great staff and great good on the go (not a place to dine in from what i saw). However i often ring them up on Saturdays to order there Veal Palauo's. Incredible taste. We get a small raida with it (green sauce) that compliments it very well. Great price too for the volume you get as well.
There bun kebobs are great as well, especially if you order it with the egg. Again, great portions and price!

Extremely uncourteous staff. Tried to order food for take away. They said they are busy that day and bluntly said sorry can’t help or take orders and shut the phone.

Yes you will get hot and fresh Indian Pakistan food. They do catering also, and you can shop grocery there. Its locate across the Rogers office on wolfdale Rd.

Oh my God what a worst food they are selling. They don't know how to cook. Everything was bad. Haleem u can't get haleem taste. Biryani was not fresh.smelly. Even they can't make a good naan. I recommend to people don't waste your money in this restaurant. In my whole life I didn't see bad restaurant like this.

Shaheen was once a legend as we had arranged catering from her at my wedding, my brothers wedding and many many many other events. My last order from there put a really bad taste. Large Biryani tray DOES NOT have chicken pieces but a leg cut in four which is the Karhai cut and NOT Biryani cut. There was virtually no chicken in there and our 18 guests asked whether this was indeed chicken biryani which was a great embarrassment. When we called to complain about this we were told that this is the way it is whether you like it or not. Their customer service has also gone down to zero. Never again!

Genuine and authentic Biryani! One of the best I've had in years. You will feel the warmth in the story of this family business. Shaheen (falcon) the chef has mastered this recipe for the past 20+ years. The staff is kind and friendly let alone caring and clean. I have more good things to say, however I'd encourage you to go try it out and enjoy the tasteful experience.

Desert however was ok - I ordered their kheer and it had a slight burnt flavor.

The food is usually very good (though they've definitely had some off days). They also have a small selection of grocery items. Customer service has always been great.

The girl at the counter is extremely rude! They gave veal biriyani with just boiled veal added in the biriyani rice. Called them to exchange it and was told to get it in an hour.

When I went to exchange it the girl misbehaved a lot and biriyani was not ready and take the cash back.

Extremely bad and rude behaviour from a customer who gets food from them regularly. Pathetic!

We are their regular customers, and we have to appreciate their wonderful customer service. The owners were amazingly cooperative, they immediately addressed our concerns and replaced the food without any additional cost. It is advisable to let them know personally if you are not satisfied with the taste/quality of their food and rest assured that they will take care of it. Wish them all the best.

Mostly consistent food and friendly customer. It should be five stars but their Briyani is a little dryer and salty lately Still lot better than many others.

Best veal biryani and veal pulao, Ordered a tray, they were accommodating although they dont make Veal biryani daily they agreed to make us a tray as a special order.

Don’t trust what they say about availability of an item. I had a very bad experience. We called for availability of Pulao. We were told over the phone pulao is available and the shop is open until 7 PM. We were at the shop within 10 minutes of our call. Once I got inside and asked for pulao I was told pulao is finished and that they only had one package left when I called (something that wasn’t on the phone) seemed a tactic to get customers to the shop, once customer is in the shop they will buy something.

Authentic Pakistani taste love the veal qourma and bbq is top notch. It is quite spicy so pick your battles wisely.

Reasonable prices, compared to the other fancy restaurants, with hit/miss taste in various dishes.

Tandoori chicken is great at a very good price. Biryani is good. Channa Masala is also nice. Bihari Kabab were ok. Haleem was really disappointing in taste and weirdly, their large serving is actually the medium container you will find anywhere else.

Overall, the food is 3.5 star but that rating is not possible so we thought 4 is better since its a family own business, very clean place & accomodating customer service. They also have day-to-day dishes like Daal, Karhi, Bagharay Baingan & Pulao which we will definitely try and think about improving the rating.

If you are looking for best taste of the Asian Food, Shaheen Food is one of the best in Toronto. I ordered for three occasions last year and now last week. Everyone there was appreciating the taste of the food. Apart from quality and taste, we find these people so humble and cooperative. They were always few minutes before the time there for delivery, and also there was follow up to check if we faced any issue. A marvelous service i must say and recommend all.

One of the best tasting Pakistani food take out restaurants in Mississauga, must try Chicken Biryani, Behari boti/roll and Nehari. They have many other dishes on menu. Highly Recommended spot for take out or Catering.

Overall the food here is decent.nothing to special, naans I purchased from my last visit were burnt, the kebabs had a bit of a rough taste to them and the pulao was quite bland, visits prior to that the food was better. Overall I hope quality will be consistent like it was before

Shaheen Food Center's food has been part and parcel of all our family gatherings for years. Their tandoori chicken is to die for, my personal favourite! All our vegetarian guests love their chana masala and aaloo baingan. Not only the food is on point, it is always more than enough in quantity and very reasonable too. Their food has been the jaan of our parties; thank you!

Food was okay, but veal biryani did not have enough meat, all guests was complaining, and the beef kabab had a bad taste. When I tried to give feedback to the owner he insisted my feedback was wrong and that they are right. I had been catering from them for five years, and now I realized how bad the customer service is. Very disappointed about the inability to take feedback and service.

We usually get food from here and it's normally good, however we got catering and it was not the quality we're usually used too. The veal pulao had tiny peices of meat, and it was not enough. The karhai chicken was overcooked and there were lots of boney peices. Lastly, the beef kabobs did not seem like they were made fresh like mentioned, rather they seemed like they were frozen kabobs. Very disappointed in the catering this time.

One time bfr buying we wanted to taste biryani if it’s not spicy (they let us taste many things before buying if we r buying something first time.as we go there whenever we have chance,) but the guy refused our request n we felt awkward it ddnt make any sense to us what’s the point to refuse while you let taste other stuff.it was so embarrassing that time.
