Shanghai Korean Chinese Restaurant

The day I went with my two other friends. We ordered combo A including one sweet sour crispy pork, one jajamyeon and one seafood noodle which is recommended for 2-3 people. But it's a lot and the price is very reasonable. Also, the food tastes delicious.
The environment is also very chill. Highly recommend

My Korean friend recommended this restaurant to me back in collage, and it is still one of my favourite Korean restaurants, I have a few black beans noodles in other place, but this one is the only restaurant I always return if I go to yongefinch, or I will just go and have the noodle take out.

Ordered a Combo A for me and my husband. Jjiamppong was really good as other reviews also said. The soup is tasty, not too oily. They used fresh mussels! Pilled-off shrimps and squids were yummy too. Didn't taste like frozen seafood mix. Jjiajiang noodle was also good. Tang suyuk (fried pork with sweet sour sauce) was also very good. One suggestion though: the sauce can use a bit more salt and less ginger powder. Apart from that, it was an excellent meal. Value for money and served very fast. The owner was super kind too.

Small place. I usually just get the takeout. The Black bean noodle is good. It’s called ChaJangMyun.

My favourite restaurant in Toronto for black bean noodles! The fried rice and sweet and spicy chicken were also delicious. Would highly recommend!

Food goes crazy! The Gang and I went crazy on the menu for 4: 20. After going here with casper and DK for a while; you start to pick up on some words.for eg, YOBO, 여보세요, 애참, and more. The overall vibe is good, with loud K-pop music blasting.

We got Combo Special A. Combo Special A came with Deep Fried Pork in Sweet & Sour Sauce, Veggie, Beef & Black Bean Sauce on Noodle, and Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup! The Deep Fried Pork was crispy, the S&S sauce was wonderful, it made the perfect pairing for Jjajang Myeon and Jjampong! Jjajang Myeon was flavourful, and their Jjampong had a RICH broth but we hoped it was spicier. Overall, this combo was such GOOD value, and we enjoyed the food a lot!

This place is absolutely underrated! Deep fried chicken with sweet and spicy sauce is a must to try! Highly recommended. Price is on point by the way.

My gang and I tried several dishes in several occasions at this restaurant. Most recently, I visited looking for some hot and spicy noodle soup called, jjamppong. It was not disappointing, but the dish was not served as hot as it should be. The spiciness was also mild. It may be a good degree of spiciness and hotness for first timers, but my seasoned taste in Korean food was left wanting a little more. We also tried seafood fried rice which was good but wanted a bit more flame taste in it. Donkatsu was a bit dry.perhaps overcooked a little. Overall, this place has a formula for success and it needs a little more care in handling and cooking the food. I might try this place later on to see if the owner can show a successful mentality in the increasingly competitive ethnic restaurant market.

Don’t know why this restaurant is so underrated. I have nothing to complain about their food and service. Considering the amount of food you get, their pricing is more than reasonable (especially for a restaurant at Yonge/Finch, where everything is overpriced).

Here are my recommendations of a few things people barely mentioned in the comments: fried rice with seafood and vegetables (must-try if you are a fan of fried rice), yang jang pi (stir-fried crystal noodles with vegetables, beef, seafood and yellow mustard sauce)

Beware: the amount of food is HUGE

My go to place for Chinese Korean food! We always order jjamppong, jjajangmyeon and kanpuggi (fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce) combo for two of us. The portion is generous and they taste so good! Especially my husband loves kanpunggi from here!

Ordered jajangmyun (짜장면) and tangsuyuk (탕수육). Those two are the must when you go to any Korean chinese restaurant. The taste of those two dishes will pretty much tell you how the rest of the menu in that restaurant will taste.

The overall rating of those two dishes are 4/5. Point missing because I like my ja Jang Myun sauce chunky. Service was 4/5.

Place is good, price is good I liked it. The food and the service was fairly good. Wouldn't recommend to go with groups of 7 or more, because of the space.

I have been here twice and both times the food was delicious. Service was fast. Price is fair. Excellent portion sizes.
