Eric did a great job fixing our sink. He cleared the blockage quickly and ensured everything worked before leaving. The fix required running some new piping. He was very efficient and everything is now better than new.

My wife and I have used Shanks Plumbing for over 30 years. Recently Shanks had finished a total renovation of our bathroom ensuite. They did an awesome job from the demolition right up to the final vanity installation. They have a ton of experience and are honest as they come.

We have a very old home and a young man by the name of Mark was able to remove and install a beautiful new laundry pump! He arrived on time, was organized, and very courteous! He knew just what to do and it was very complicated in a small work space as well! Thank you Dave for visiting our home initially to figure out what we needed and then sending such an excellent technician by the name of Mark to our home to complete the work! We used this company 3 years ago for an emergency repair. We were pleased with their service. Yesterday we needed a good plumber and again called upon Shanks Plumbing and Heating. On Thursday Nov 4 2021 they attended and fixed our problem. The plumber who attended was courteous, knowledgeable and did a great job. Last Friday we had Eric D.come and do some work at my mother-in-law’s place. We were so impressed with him! He did a great job installing new kitchen taps and even reinforced the counter underneath. He also guided us on the right shower head. While he worked on the kitchen taps, we went and purchased the correct shower head. Eric was also wonderful with my mother-in-law. I would definitely call him again.

Eric was just great also Brian who made sure my appointment was fulfilled. The service was one of the best I have had courteous all covid implementations in place, we also spoke little about film and a respectful young man, also cleaned up meticulous and it was job well done. I definitely give Eric an A plus. And his company a superior 5 stars. Nice talking to you Eric and accommodating us since you knew it was our landlord.

While doing the dishes, I discovered that the P trap under my kitchen sink was totally corroded and the water was draining into the cabinet below. I figured I should check the P trap under my bathroom sink and a gentle prod punched a hole though that too. As much fun as it was having buckets in both sinks and emptying the dirty water into the toilet, I was really glad that Shanks was able to send someone really fast. Yusuf was great - he was quick, tidy, and explained to me what he was doing. Shanks was recommended by a couple of friends who used them, and I will definitely recommend them to anyone else who needs plumbing done.

We had a new refrigerator delivered today. I, wrongly, assumed the water hookup would be the same as the previous. We got it attached but there was a small leak. I have had small leaks like this before I was not at all excited! I called Shanks and they were able to find time to fix this for me the same day. I know that is not always available or easy to do but they did dispatch a plumber and had us up and working within a couple of hours. I am pretty sure lunch break was scarified for our water connection. I have used Shanks for a number of jobs in the past and will continue to call them for all my plumbing needs. Thank you

I cannot comment on the quality of their work; however, I can comment on the aggressive and angry demeanor of at least one of their drivers.

Apparently backing out of a driveway and slowing one of their vehicles down is cause for rage, which progressed into dangerous tailgating because I drove the speed limit in a school zone during school drop off when there was a red light up ahead anyway.

In my experience, how you treat others when representing a company in a company vehicle says a lot about the overall character of the service technicians. Based on other reviews, that seems true in this case as well.

I had problems with my shower faucet for some time and had difficulty finding a plumber who could repair the problem. I tried Shanks Plumbing to see if they could repair my shower faucet and they did. I found them to be reliable, helpful and trustworthy. Eric is very skilled and did an excellent job. Brian, at the office and Eric go above and beyond to help. Shanks is now my go to plumbing service.

As an interior designer who has many renovations under her belt, I have worked with my fair share of trades, including plumbers, some of which have proven problematic. This was the first time I have worked with this company, and I was absolutely ecstatic with every part of the project. I used their services for the plumbing components of a complete gut of a 100 sq.ft.master bathroom in a luxury condo, as well as a major repair in a guest bathroom. Not only was the work itself in terms of installation and repair of the utmost quality, but communication throughout, regarding scheduling of appointment dates (and great lead time), arrival of parts, etc.was incredibly professional. Mark, their plumber who worked on all components of my project was very friendly, great at helping me sort out several design options, and a joy to work with. What a relief to know I now have a wonderful, worry-free plumbing company for future projects.

Shanks did a great bathroom renovation for us. Dave gave us an initial estimate which was the same amount we paid upon completion. He was very helpful in our initial decision making concerning layout, fixtures, and cabinetry. Dave provided excellent trades people for the electrical wiring, painting and dry wall taping aspects of the renovation. Steve did a fantastic job doing the lion's share of the renovation with an exacting attention to detail. He did a beautiful job. Steve is very responsible, personable, and is a pleasure to have in our home. Would absolutely recommend Shanks for your renovation!

Last year, I purchased and had installed a new Moen faucet from Shanks. Came with their full repair/replacement warranty. When the faucet proved defective, Shanks ordered a new one and replaced it quickly and professionally.

Immediate response, very professional, problem solved quickly and work done right away neatly and great quality. Proactive and provided full knowledge and information of the tasks to be completed. Very friendly and respectful service. It made the experience stress free. Thank you.

Worst plumbing service ever! Tenant called them in to investigate a leak in the house, they found Nothing the first day and left with an invoice of $180. Tenant called them the second day as leak remains, they started working without quote and my consent and left with an invoice of $1290+, and admit themselves the problem Remain Unsolved. I took photos and consulted a trust worthy plumber and get an entirely different diagnose of the leak and quote of $250. Shame on you Shanks! You are conducting a dirty business, you lost your professionalism and honesty! Whoever founded this company 70 years ago will be disappointed how you are carrying the brand right now!
