My mom, sister, niece and great niece and I went to the Sharon House yesterday for lunch. It was 12: 30 and we were the first lunch guests of the day. We were nicely greeted by the a staff member. Taking our seat, we noticed the decor was in need of some touch-ups, but please do not let that deter you from the good food! We each had a different dish.the Tuesday wing special was a good portion, meaty wings, veggies and dip included; the chili and garlic toast was just enough spice, the personal pepperoni pizza was more than enough and piping hot; the hamburger/fries special was huge and the crispy fries were the best I'd had in a long time! Coffee was good, hot and in a good size mug!
A few other patrons filed in over the next hour which was good to see. It is not in a a very busy hub for a weekday lunch hour, but if you get the chance to drop in any time, you will be glad you did!

Was actually a great time karaoke Sunday 3 til 8 very busy older crowd but very good time food was good boneless wings medium bit of kick but tasty will go back for sure

We try to support local businesses in our neighbourhood. We have had a pizza from this restaurant in the past. We ordered a large pizza tonight and when I went to pick it up, it was a small. When I asked about it they claimed I didn’t specify a size when I ordered. I told them that doesn’t make sense. Then they said they were training a new person. If they had said that from the beginning I would have been fine and re ordered a large. But their first thought was to blame me the customer. Unfortunately a local place lost my business.

Absolutely loved this place! Great food and drinks not to mention efficient service. Couldn’t recommend it more. I had the buffalo chicken wrap which was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

My friends & myself enjoyed great service, food, company and karaoke. We attended Friday evening. However when ever I have visited this location It’s always a welcoming environment and the owner is a gem of a human. If you’re looking to get over served with alcohol and get drunk I recommend this place. They let all the regulars get pretty wasted. Then they just watch them leave and drive home. Pray no one has an accident or kills someone when they drive home. Hoping the owners read this and STOP over serving their neighborhood locals. And yet it still continues. I posted this a while ago and the over serving still continues while patrons continue to leave impaired and driving home. And again it still continues

Food was great but i was disappointed that there was no kids menu especially being located in a subdivision with lots of families.

We had an amazing dinner. Penne a la vodka was creamy and delicious. The lamb shank was flavourful and very tender. We also had buffalo cauliflower bites and soft cheesecake for dessert. We love the food here.

If I could give this negative stars I would. I witnessed the Health Inspector tell them the washroom was unacceptable and the dishwasher had no cleaning chemical at all. The manager was too busy pretending not to understand questions to notice we were there and another customer said never touch the food here or eat/drink out of glasses/plates cutlery but beer from cans is safe enough. GROSS

Too bad I didn't get to try the food or the venue since the storm hit Barrie and the police advise people not to travel. But I look forward to dining there once the weather improves

Great restraunt. Little nervous when we went in on their decor but the food was very flavourful. Waitress was new and showed a little but very friendly and certainly did a good job. Definitely recommend the Indian flavors. If I could suggest perhaps move the smokers and tables outside the front doors so you do not have to walk through it.

First time at Sharon House, the food was fantastic! The bruschetta and Thai chicken bites were a great start and happened to come in on pasta night so cheap pasta - had the seafood linguine.oh man! The extra seasonings in the sauce too, everything was cooked perfectly.

This place is delicious, and the service was incredible. I cannot rave about the butter chicken enough. Highly recommend:)

This was my first time at Sharon House Kitchen and Lounge and I was totally impressed! The waitress was so sweet and attentive. She suggested the Shrimp Alfredo and it was FABULOUS! One of the best I’ve ever had! Not at all I was expecting for a small community restaurant! Definitely worth a visit!

I have Celiac Disease and was worried as I had never eaten here before. I had the Penne A La Vodka with chicken, and although there was an issue with the first dish given to me, what I received in the end was not only delicious, but I also had no problems or symptoms. I would suggest to try their gluten free pasta options here anytime!

Amazing service! I had the jerk wings and they were perfect! They were large, had a great flavour and I'm definitely going back!

Ended up at Sharon House last night, not really expecting much.throughout our years of living here, it's changed hands and names so many times I've lost count and we stopped going.but I think this time we may have a winner! (Fingers crossed). Not only did they have a KILLER band last night, but the food was pretty darn good! Not JUST pub style food (although that's basically what we ordered). The entrée options go beyond that. My daughter had the pesto penne and loved it. I just had the cauliflower bites and a drink, just to watch the band. Our friends had fries and mozza sticks. All good. Server was extremely friendly. Place was dead, but it was Kempenfest. They need to have that band back, I have no doubt the place would be bursting at the seams. Pat Riel Band all the way!

Brought home the shrimp diavola pasta tonight and it was fantastic! Just the right amount of spicy. Very nice large shrimp. Staff was very friendly.

The food is really really good! Not microwaved like the last couple places that were here. KJ (owner/chef) cares about making good food, and it really shows. The wings are massive, and are honestly the best wings I've had in Barrie. Mussels are not a typical item I would order, but until you try them, you don't know what you are missing. I haven't had a meal here that was bad. Stop buying garbage pizza from box stores. The Pizza here is great and super affordable. $7 for a medium Pepperoni pizza! I bought 4 the other day and the guys working for me were super impressed. I can't say enough good things about this place. PLEASE SUPPORT THIS RESTAURANT. You will not be disappointed.

Saturday steak and surf & turf are to die for. $26 for a full meal, with sides. Entertainment is always great, friendly atmosphere, and tentative staff. New ownership and it shows. Their homemade pizza is made to order and a great price for walk in or dine in. Always something going on here

Had a spicy curry chicken. Naan bread had garlicky and smoky taste. Overall combination was amazing

Better half found this place when searching for somewhere that made gluten free pasta. She ordered chicken parmigiana with gluten free rigatoni, our friend had the chicken parmigiana with traditional spaghetti and I ordered the jambalaya (spicy).
I have to say that this was the best jambalaya I’ve had outside of New Orleans. The portion size was great and did not skimp out on the shrimp, chicken or sausage. The two chicken parmigiana dishes were also excellent. This was our first time here but definitely will not be our last.
A special shout out to Kaley (our server) …. You were fantastic!

Amazing butter chicken! Not too spicy not mild just right, the owner is making you feel so special and warm. I also tried their California sandwich great as well if you are really hungry cuz portion is big!

I love the beer deals. I was very surprised at how good the food is here. I've tried a few items from the menu now and was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The servers are very friendly and prompt. Love this place
