Used to be my favorite place to order Persian kebab. Today, I got Barg, and without any doubt I received the worst ever Barg ever in Toronto.

Absolutely horrible.

We called in an order for 10 people.
When we picked it up, the staff was not at all friendly. I asked if they had given me everything we ordered. They said yes. I took it to the car but as I was driving a fair way to get home I decided to check. They gave me the rice and tomatoes, but no kabob. Good thing I checked. I went back in and they gave me the tray. No apology, nothing.

Like many restaurants these days, way too expensive.

Worst part though, the food was terrible.

Chicken was ok but the kabob, especially the barg, bad cut of stringy meats, over cooked, and way, way to salty. Couldn’t even eat it. So bad. Never again for this place!

Food was yummy. Employees are so nice and welcoming.

BUT the MANAGER was VERY RUDE to me and to her employees. I was asking the cashier if it's possible to get salad instead of fries, and with an angry face she unprofessionally interfered and talked to me and her employee in a tough and arrogant way and said NO YOU CAN'T.

It used to be a good quality product however, I see the food is not good as before. The rice was definitely reheated! I can say as I have been cooking for 45 years!

They reduced the portion to half I paid $27.67 for this! I used to go there all the time and now this is what we get! Shatter Abbas going downhill!

Maybe because I’ve taken 2 years off of Persian food and in the same time made adjustment to my diet. The food is very tasty and service very good. I felt really thirsty after the meal and drank more water than I usually do. Like twice more water

The food, friendly service and the patio are all worthy of the five-star rating. This place is on the pricey side but the food will not disappoint!

Any miserably restaurant owner that posts the menu on the web in very small letters that makes it impossible to find out the pricesof their restaurant menu is because wants to con the public in general, has something to hide. Avoid being ripped off-DO NOT GO THERE, so simple.

One of the best cashier in the entire world.

Out of the three locations in Toronto, this is probably the best one with fine food and quality packaging for takeout. Rating 4 because they usually overcook the food and they are very overpriced!

I recommend this place, this place is my first to go place. Their koobideh kebab was so delicious and tasty, also nice and friendly staff. They made my day

I came here on a whim and at first, I thought the prices were a little high so I ordered the Koodibeh wrap meal and was pleasantly surprised. I was starving and it definitely hit the spot. The sandwich was delicious! The staff were very nice and friendly. I would eat here again!

Tried the kababs for the first time it was lovely. The staff is very welcoming and charming. I recommend this place to everyone to give it a try.

I had the Vaziri and the beef burger before that. Amazing taste and texture (the meat for the burger was too thick for my preference but still good). Planning on trying every item on their menu.

I got a kubideh and a hamburger both are uncooked.rice is uncooked too and cold. I don’t give them any business anymore. I don’t recommend them.

Decided to go in here for the first time as it's right next to my house and have been recommended by many Iranian friends. The reason for my one-star is not to do with service or the taste. The girls taking the order we're really friendly.
I ordered the Gheimeh as it's a traditional dish. I paid $17.99 plus tax and tip Total was about $24.
For a dish that comes with beef I got four little tiny pieces of beef and the rest was all lentils.
Please get your portions correct don't think I will be coming back to this location to try the other dishes.

Amazing customer service and the food is delicious. They give you a generous amount of food for the price you pay. My new favorite lunch spot

The people are so nice and food is good! Ordered the chicken thigh with rice and was enough for 3 people. Definitely recommend this place

Horrible! Overpriced and long waits for food gone bad. Got a chicken leg with rice and gheimeh with rice. Rice was edible but over boiled and the garnish on top did not go well with it. Chicken had probably gone bad. The sauce was almost sour.and after two bites I was afraid to get sick so we threw everything out. Same thing with the gheimeh, it had a bad taste to it. No food should taste like that even with bad seasoning unless it has GONE BAD. It was the worst persian food I’ve had. This place needs a check up from public health before someone really gets sick.

The food is delicious and the service is top-notch! The owner's were nice enough to open early just so we could have our food picked up and delivered on time for our catered lunch at work. We really appreciate the effort:) Will definitely order again.

Always love taking out different Persian foods from this place and or their other location. The quality was always good whatever we ordered and taste almost like back home considering decent price range, which is great when you are homesick and don’t want to go to a fancy restaurant ;)

Their food quality has gone down. Both Koobideh and Chicken burger was very dry. When I was leaving the the restaurant, I told them they did not put the pepper in the Koobideh box but they insisted it is there. But when I came home, I found it missing and called them. They initially wanted to deliver it. But later she changed her mind and hanged up the hone. Extreme poor service.

I repeatedly told them to put the salad on the side for the burger. Yet they put it in the burger. English?

This place has become a complete ripoff.

I was SHOCKED. A cheese burger, olives and yogurt.
The quality of food has also dropped alot. I use to love the burgers but today was just awful. Dry, undercooked, bun was tough and elasticity, NOT the quality and taste remember.

Very expensive compared to other places, the kabobs were sooo salty baba. I don’t come back baba!

I ordered from this place because it was the only restaurant near me that was open during the storm. So I drove there in the storm. They told me my food will be ready within 30 minutes but it wasn’t. I didn’t mind it cause this was the only place that was open. But when I went back in to get my food, the guy who was working didn’t realize that I entered the store and I heard him talking about me and using very bad words. When he realized that I heard what he said, he didn’t even bother to apologize. The cashier gave me a free yogurt as a way to apologize but this action is way too rude to be forgotten with a free yogurt! Every time i go there, they make the customer feel not welcomed. They need to improve their customer service!

Not a great place to dine in but who are you kidding just take it home and ENJOY. I had the kebab barg and my friend had the baghali poli. Both were AMAZING

If I could give a zero star I would. The chef behind the counter is rude and obnoxious and yells at customers for complaining about the awful food quality. Unless you want food poisoning please don't visit this place.

The food is overpriced, bland, pathetic sized portions, and fast food quality disguised as gourmet homemade food.

The worst of it all I had a stomach ache right after eating here.

I would not recommend this place even if you're starving.

One of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. The koobideh meal is absolutely impossible to finish, and so good you will probably make a midnight meal out of your leftovers. Always friendly and staff that will remember you by name! 5/5 for sure!

I have ordered food there previously, before the pandemic, and was reasonably pleased with the food. When I ordered from there on the weekend, I was blown away by the price increase. I paid over $70 for 2 skewers of chicken with rice, and one skewer of beef. They didn't even have take-out menus so that could compare prices to the last time.

Expensive and horrible quality kababs. Rock hard and bread tasting kabab kobideh.
Their size shrank and the price went up and down went the quality.
Sad how this restaurant is behaving like this.
Once used to be a top kabab place is now on the bottom of the list.
Do not recommend. Look else where.

There are a lot of other Persian places just as good if not better and cheaper. The kebab torsh is really the only thing worth getting altho there’s not enough meat for how much rice they give. It’s still amazing though

I love this place! Their portion is GIANT! I ordered two skewers with rice for around $15, and they gave me a party tray tin container, I was blown away. Not to mention their good taste good and yummy! And their patio on the side is very nice and quiet.

We used to be a regular customer before pandemic. Tried again this weekend, the menus is not updated the food quality and freshness significantly decreased and prices drastically increased.

This place has the worst costumer service. I wish I could give 0 stars. They always make mistakes and they are so cheap and unprofessional. The people that work there are very rude and disrespectful as well.waste of money.

Their food is amazing and we have tried many dishes. We are fans of their Special Hamburger, their fries (the best ones we’ve tried in Canada so far), and the rice with the kebabs that reminds me the Brazilian barbecue and our rice too. The Olovieh (with mayonnaise as base) is also amazing and it reminds me of a Brazilian dish as well. With the lack of Brazilian restaurants, I’m adopt the Persian one from Shatter Abbas which is amazing!

The service in this place is so bad. It is slow and the staff spend most of the time talking so loud, it is impossible to even stay inside.

I was their regular customer until recently that I noticed a big change in quality and customer Service. It seems that the management changed.

I asked for no tomatoes in my salad. It couldn't be accommodated so I decided to get eggplant instead of salad. When I picked up my food, I was given extra tomatoes with my chicken meal and no eggplant at all. Very disappointed.

It would be better to have the option to add onions or cheddar to the "special hamburger". Moreover, additional white sauce will make it event better.

Joojeh, and koobideh are my favorites. Koobideh wrap is also great!

Unfortunately, the Ghormeh Sabzi made me sick for two days. I will not try that again from this place.

Shatter Abbas Sheppard location offers tasty Persian cuisine and one of the most popular meal at this location is their "Special Hamburger"; Persian-style burger. Perfect combination of spices are used, large portion and fair price. The Special Hamburger makes this location to be my favorite Shatter Abbas location by far.

Barg Kebab and Koobideh kebab taste really good and were cooked properly. Jooje Kebab was fresh and cooked with right amount of spices.

We ordered a "Baghali Polo" and a "Fesenjoon". The polo was tasteless and the meat was almost raw. The fesenjoon was not fresh at all. I had burger from this place and it was god. I'd say their Kebab menu is way better than the other foodd they offer and serve. Order kebab or burger if you are ordering from this branch. However, the other branch which is located on Thornhill has a better food quality and service.

I liked their chicken kobideh, and also the charcoal bbq peppers as side. The kobideh itself was good too.
A bit pricey though.

First time trying this place. The portions are large and the food is delicious. Ordered a mixed kabob and a chicken leg meal. Had enough to feed up to 4 ppl. Love this great find. Must try.

Their Koobideh kabab quality is not delicious as it was before! There is too much onion in it and sometimes food is too salty.

The new guy as a customer service is very rude!

If he doesn't like your name, he will make fun of you in front of you! He's vulgar, interrupting people, careless, and bully!
He keeps you on the line and either do not answer at all or tell you to wait and put you on hold until you hang up!

When I asked why don't you answer the phone response, in a rude way, was that when we are busy we don't take orders by the phone!

My suggestion is that if this is your policy show some courtesy to your customers and put a message in the phone stating that we don't take orders and you have to come here all the way to place your order and I assure you that other restaurants in the area will be very thankful to you!

The previous group working there were more organized and we were appreciative of the work ethic and customer service! However the lady's attitude had problem, too!

Food was tasteless, pricy, staff not welcoming and bad service. It was a big mistake going there for a dinner.

Reliably and consistently tasty food. Very generous portions. Would love to see a few more veggie-based sides as options.
We love the Sampler Platter with 2 ground beef skewers, a chicken leg skewer and a beef tenderloin skewer. It comes with a massive portion of rice and grilled tomatoes. The Mast o Khiar is a tasty yoghurt dip similar to a raita or tzatziki — really tasty with meat.

Awesome little joint. Real & authentic persian food. I highly recommend their burger. Its definitely one of the best in the city!

We were dining at their restaurant ordered Koobideh and after that I felt sick and was vomiting for more than 6 hours along with stomach upset and abdomenal pain. I am violently ill, vomitting throughout the night with horrible diarrhea. They should close your dirty restaurant

Possibly the worst Persian restaurant in the city. Not fresh and very expensive foods. Not recommended at all.

Their burger is big and delicious. Steak sandwich is ok but not as good as the burger.

I love their food. I don't know anything about Persian food, only kept trying 3 menus in last 4yrs but just like it as is. Then I visited couple days ago, noticed they had some changes store interiors and menus. I liked it, it's better than before but also menu price changed as well even they had not too long ago. If im not wrong, new menu changed last year, but noticed price went up again!
Koobideh was $12.00 on early 2018 now $14.99 but portion seems bit smaller. I like one of their sauces so, I asked on the side. He charged me $2 for literally 2oz container. Im pretty sure if I have eat-in I can just ask the bottle. (They never charged before, even I asked on the side)
So ended up paying $19.25, year ago $13.55 when I don't really feel upgraded on food other than store interiors and new menu design.

Today I bought hamburgers from this restaurant but was so expensive, usually we bought our food from there but today was sooooo expensive 30$for 2hamburgers for take out. The cashier was so nice and polite. Just I have complained from prise it is so expensive and taste of the food was totally different than before and not so good. Last time in SHATER ABAS.

I have visited this place yesterday and today before checking the reviews here. The food is amazing, the service is superb and the portions compared to the price are perfectly satisfying. I don’t know how those bad reviews are here because I talked to the employees and the chef and they served us and our group very good. I feel the bad reviews here are because of language barrier and people are prejudging, just the fact the owner is responding to it one by one shows they are trying their best!
