We were planning to go to Mississauga location of Al Zaeem and found out that they have in Burlington also. It’s near our home (Oakville) so decided to dine in here. We ordered chicken and beef family platter. Food was delicious and generous. Quality of shawarma is undoubtedly comparable to the best in GTA. Definitely a place to come back and eat again.
As a mississauga resident I am a big fan of Alzaeem in general, ive had it over 20 times and can comfortably say its the best in Missisauga at the moment.
When i saw that they had another location in Burlington steps away from my buddy’s bodyshop (Global Tech) I thought perfect let me grab them some lunch. Boy did they deliver to expectation
Made a takeout order over the phone and picked up the food, here is my review
Restaurant vibe/cleanliness: 9/10 it looked well maintained and has seating for various group sizes, clean tables etc.
Staff: 10/10 everyone there was friendly. Warmly greeted, smiles, when i questioned why the fries were expensive im guessing the owner took a few bucks off for me because i had ordered 3 shawarmas which I thought was really nice of him and in all honest the fries were good for 3 peeps.
Food: 9.5/10, yup Alzaeem lived up to its brand. When you go to Alzaeem their chicken is solid but the main event is definitely the beef shawarma. Portion size was very generous and is inline with its pricing. I would have given a perfect 10 as I had asked for no tahini but they did add it anyway. Not a biggie.
Overall: 9.5/10, I found it even more impressive than the mississauga location, especially with the generosity on how much they give u vs $$$. I really hope they stay that way because a lot of middle eastern places start this way and begin to cheap out. Keep it up gents!
Amazing place for Shawarma. My recommendation is to get the beef lamachune, light on the pocket, delicious to taste but heavy to satisfy ages of hunger
Best shawarma in Burlington! I grew up in Windsor where they have the best shawarma in my opinion. I've lived in Burlington for over 13 years and have been searching for shawarma here in Burlington that compares and have never found any until now! And their manakeesh are AMAZING. They have a little wood burning oven so their dough comes out perfectly soft, their zataar is perfectly lemony. I felt like I was back home. I've tried manakeesh at many places in the area, including some chain restaurants and theirs is by far the BEST. They also have a beautiful seating area for dining in.
Shwarma? You want a shwarma that will blow your mind.this is the place. Also, the Saj is absolutely unreal. If you're in the area and even a little bit hungry you have to go here. Also a really great bunch of lads.
The place not only serves great shawarma but it is also run by people with a heart of gold. They offer free food to those who can't afford it at no cost. May Allah give you the reward for this, we need more people like this in the world.
True 5 star, food is top quality. They are doing everything right, including quality and attitude of employees. They are all so caring. Made me feel so special on my first visit. I will be coming back
Excellent shawarma wraps, ordered the ones available on opening day. Came back for more shawarma, the mixed shawarma family platter is a delight, very reasonable pricing. Quite busy and highly recommended. If you have any concerns, try to voice them to the owner. They are adamant on improving their service.
Definitely recommend, i went a couple times and each time my food would be hot and fresh, the customer is very good and the owner is really nice.the food was really good too!
First time visiting Shawarma Alzaeem and now understand the high reviews. We got the family platter and it was more than enough for 5 people! Huge portions and amazing taste, what more can you ask for!
