Inspite of having just 1 2 customers they still forget to put your toppings and also the wrap was very thin. And after updating that you forget 3 toppings still they just put only 2. Bad service and also wrap is ok.
Our family has Shawarma Frenzy on regular rotation. The best Lentil soup—there’s no dairy in it, and it’s puréed, not chunky like the photo online. Always tasty Falafel or Chicken Shawarma Platter. The people are so friendly too!
First time trying this place, got a chicken shawarma wrap but almost every topping was an extra item and i had to pay for even basics. Hardly could find any chicken in the wrap! Even the cup for the drink was an extra item The food was meh, the staff was not professional. Not recommended
The staff was really nice but the food was not enjoyable.
I ordered two chicken shawarma plates. They give you a lot of rice and salad but they only put a thin layer of meat on top. I got extra hot sauce but the hot sauce wasn't hot at all, it was very acidic
If you want shawarma that is falling apart, with a tiny drop of chicken and a lot of lettuce, this is your spot.i am not coming back.that little drop of chicken tasted good though, thats why 2 stars.
This has to be the best Shawarma I have had so far in Toronto. I have been to a total of 12 Shawarma restaurants and none of them compare to this. I say this for their Chicken Shawarma Platter. Few reasons: - Good quantity of chicken - Best rice (so much flavor!) - Salad is quite diverse and filling
This place is good but unfortunately the increase in price does not reflect inflation. The small chicken shawarma plate used to be 9$ with tax and is now 12$ that's more than 30% increase and inflation is not 30%. Food is great but no longer a deal and in fact more than competition
We used to get the Shawarma plate twice a month. When the price went up significantly, we stopped going. Two weeks ago, we decided to try it again. The salad was bland as there was hardly any dressing. The Shawarma plate had lots of chicken, but the chicken was completely dried out and barely edible. We will not be back.
You are paying for the salads and pickles. I hardly find any chicken in my chicken frenzy shawarma. The one star is just for the taste, as the sauces and tahini are really good. Really disappointing for the meat lovers.
This is my new favourite shawarma place! The portions are very generous and the flavours are so good! My photo doesn't do it justice.
Got a falafel wrap (just half pictured) with everything on it and extra pickled turnips as well as the shawarma poutine. There were so many fries in the box that the hummus got a little squished when it was closed. Fries have a good spice blend on them and great shawarma meat, sauces, and onions. Will definitely be returning! This was enough for two generous portions. $20 and change for both.
This is by far the very best shawarma you will ever have the honor of having. It's the chicken. Whatever they do to it, however they spice it, it's just out of this world. I have driven 1.5 hours just to have one. Please please please pick this place when you decide you feel like a shawarma
Genuinely some of the best shawarma in the city and the rice is some of the best I’ve ever had. Its my favourite spot in the city, it’s just on the more expensive end Travel 30 minutes all the time just to come here
I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap for pickup. It was ready by the time I was just halfway there. It was hot, delicious, and HUGE. I’ll be eating this again for tomorrow’s lunch. My grandson who is vegetarian doesn’t like falafels so I tried him with lentil soup. It was a huge hit. I’ll be back!
I could give them 10 Stars, hands down one of the healthiest but most delicious and flavorful shawarma ive ever had. I literally crave this every week, definitely worth the 30 min drive:)
Excellent shawarma wraps, very tasty and fresh. The falafel took a little while to cook but was worth the wait. Personally I find the cost to be fair and we enjoy supporting our local Pape Village favourites. See you again soon!
This place provides great service as well as enjoyable menu. My favourite place ever. The food served quickly and the prices were inexpensive. I recommend this place.
Loved it the first time and tried it another time. Ended up with a cabbage filled shawerma with some chicken in it. The flavour is good but ratios were off.
Honestly, best shawarma in the city but on top of that, the folks who run this place are some of the nicest people I’ve met. Always smiling and actually care about providing good food and service.
I loved the shawarma platter. I had it with salad, fantastic portions, amazing flavor and great service. It was exactly what I was hoping and looking for!
Really yummy chicken shawarma plate! Lots of shawarma spots have bland chicken but this was so flavourful! They also give good portion sizes and love that they give the salad on the side. Will be back:)
Have been getting my shawarma here for a few years and the quality is always consistent. The servings are generous, price is great and the service is fast and friendly.
I was very impressed by the size of the shawarma sandwich I got until I bit into it only to realize that over half the sandwich was lettuce stuffed into the pita bread. I honestly would've given this place 5 stars as their chicken is fairly good, the customer service is passable and the store is clean. However, my Chicken Shawarma sandwich should probably have been renamed to a lettuce sandwich with shawarma, which I'm not a big fan of. Going to give this place another shot, and will edit the review at that point.
I ordered a $20 shawarma plate through Uber Eats, to my surprise it was 90% rice and 10% chicken/toppings. If I wanted to eat rice I would’ve eaten at home. Would not recommend.
Excellent food! At first thought the prices were a bit high but then realized how much you get for the cost! So tasty and filling, unbelievably fresh and the salad was a great size and tasty as can be. Best shawarma I’ve had in TO, undoubtedly will be back!
THE BEST PLACE FOR SHAWARMA IN EAST YORK. Get the falafal and shawarma wrap for under 20 dollars and it's enough to keep you full all day! Everything is homemade and delicious! Support local!
I was very surprised by how much care and skill was clearly put into my wrap.
It was a clean half circle that I could pick up without a wrapper, toasted just enough to hold its shape. The inside of the wrap was packed neatly edge to edge without extra folds. From end to end you could see the clear consistent layers of ingredients. It seems like there was even some effort made to make sure all the long ingredients were aligned with the direction of the wrap.
On top of that they have clearly made some specific choices with respect to how they cut the ingredients. The turnips are just a bit thinner than usual, the onions are a bit thicker and the chicken is fine but not shredded. It meant that you could make clean bites without accidentally pulling out too much.
Not to mention it actually tasted good. Veggies were crisp and the chicken was juicy even after delivery.
Very friendly staff and owners. Great shawarma at a great price. I have consistently been eating @ this place for over a year. The food as well as the staff is just fantastic. If you do not like this place you are most likely just an unhappy person.
I absolutely love their shawarmas. Have been eating from this place for a while now. They’re probably the best I have had of late. The chicken is fabulous and the sauces they put in the shawarma are yummy. Also they load it with veggies just as much as the chicken which is simply amazing. Will be visiting them again today.
Fresh. Friendly. Fast. The fact that their prices are so reasonable is a bonus. My kids love the shawarma wraps. Clean and roomy place for a quick bite. The owners are genuinely lovely people.
The food is good but I always order meat and get charged extra for garlic sauce that should already come with the meat, while other restaurants near by give free garlic sauce and pita with the meat. Hopefully this can be changed.
They make the falafels fresh on the spot. From the batter to cooking them right in front of you for each order. You may have to wait a few min longer then other falafel joints but it doesnt get any better!
One of little places where large means large. Quickly prepare it in front of your eyes. Very nice staff and very decent prices. Place seems to be brand new.
I absolutely love falafels and this place makes them so so so so tasty!
They are fresh to order. I saw them make up the falafel batter and scoop them out and into the fryer. They are homemade and fresh! If you are in a rush, perhaps this wouldn't work for you, but if you want good falafels, this place will not disappoint!
I ordered a falafel platter for me and a falafel wrap for my husband to go.
The falafel platter had a salad, 3 falafels (they are quite large) and hummus. The tahini and hot sauce on top complimented the dish. I had the small platter and it was filling. It hit the spot!
The inside has plenty of tables, suited for groups of 2-4 people. It was clean and well maintained.
Service was super friendly and inviting.
I would go back again and again for their falafels. So good.
The food, portion size and price are excellent! The only problem I encountered was that when I entered with my bf and the women which was older, smiled at my bf in a way which was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. I expect some girls at 15 to act this way, not at 45 to 50 years old. The man serving us was nice, polite and smiled appropriately and professionally. Other then that, the food, portion size and price are excellent and that's why I give it 5 stars.
