SHAWARMA FUSION

New customers. My wife goes in to order me a shawarma plate.we live 30 full minutes away so I ask her to tell them salad on the side, because who wants to eat a disgusting hot soggy salad in a hot box sweating for 30 minutes? Lo and behold, my food arrives, and she says not only did they reject the request, they declared it is not permitted! You know you could just say you need extra for a side container instead of being deliberately obtuse

No dressing on the salad. Chopped vegetables in a box is not a salad.

I had the pleasure of trying their shawarma recently, and I must say, it was quite delightful. The flavors were well-balanced, and the meat was tender and expertly seasoned. While I thoroughly enjoyed it, I couldn't give it a full five stars because I've had shawarma that I found even more exceptional. Still, it's a testament to their culinary skill that I can give it a solid four stars. It's certainly worth a try, even if I've encountered slightly superior shawarma elsewhere. Also the wooden forks they give you are awful since they add an odd flavor to the meal. At first I thought there was no way to heat it up a bit but then I found out they do in fact have hot sauce. 5 stars!

Absolutely horrible customer service. They clearly don’t have any regards to how dirty the restaurant is. Food is okay at best

Wasn’t sure what fusion meant, but walking in you can see that that this place wants to be everything - Indian, Middle Eastern and Western - Butter Chicken, Shawarma and burgers.

Whether you buy plates or wraps you only get 5 toppings or you pay $1 extra for all the rest of the toppings - a first I have noticed at Shawarma joint. Disappointing.

The falafel on fries or rice were OK. The fries and rice not seasoned at all. I am guessing they rely on dousing it with garlic sauce to make it better. But as the garlic sauce has eggs we didn’t take any. The falafel freshly fried but were too dry for us. The little hot sauce we put didn’t help either

Lots of food, great value and very tasty. Asked for lots of hot sauce but didn't get any on mine.

The most disgusting shawrma I’ve ever eat, too much small, nothing come with the combo, the chicken not done well, my advise no one eat there it’s not good

I'm addicted to the Shawarma Rocks and Falafels. Food is always fresh. Staff is friendly and will patiently answer any/all questions. Nice clean and comfortable environment. You won't be disappointed with anything you order.

Food was delicious. Prices were average for today's standards. Portion was a bit small for me I got the shawarma wrap. Would be a regular if you weren't limited to 5 toppings in your wrap

It's a great place to get a quick and tasty bite. There was a good balance between the meat and toppings. They also have coleslaw as a topping option if you're interested in having something a little different.

Have been coming here for years for their shawarma Greek salads, always been consistent and has been me and my spouses favourite shawarma place to go to, whenever we are in guelph we make it a point to come here! Tried many different shawarma places and this is by far the best we have come across

Been a regular customer since they opened. Very disappointed with there customer service after coming to you guys for so long a nice smile or effort would be great. It sucks. You guys need to make more effort with customers. And to top it off the food has gone downhill. Fries not cooked well and chicken that tastes like rubber. Won't be coming here again.so much better options else way.

I tried veg Falafel and Falafel Salad. They are both great portions and great taste. Better than any big brands.

Completely terrible service. I had to ask the person 3 times to put in extra onions and then got only 3 small slices. I asked for no hot sauce in both shawarmas.
When I got my second shawarma they said it had hot sauce in it, despite me clearly saying yes to only garlic sauce.
Both employees behind the counter started loudly arguing saying they heard me say yes to hot sauce. When I explained I didn't even hear them mention hot sauce they said that they heard each other say it. Why would I lie about hot sauce?
Completely unprofessional and rude service. I would recommend the owner to do an internal review of the ridiculous workers here. The food was mediocre as well. It's beyond my imagination how this place has 4.6 stars.

This is without a doubt the most bland flavorless shawarma I have ever eaten. The chicken was a bit rubbery it was served from a metal container in the warming tray area it must have been sitting pre-cut for quite a while. I don't understand how this place had a 4.4 star rating at the time I decided to try it. Save your money and don't waste your time like really bland flavorless food

Ordered the Chicken Shwarma plate. Sauce on side. It was delicious. Portion size was good, salad was made well, and assembled very well to keep separated from the rice and chicken.
Will be going back. Would highly recommend.

Very stingy on sides, toppings. This place doesn't even come close to average Swarma shops in the Toronto area. As for the prices, very expensive, in my opinion.

The taste was on par with other shawarma joints. Good quantity for the price.

The only downside is that they don't offer delivery services, I wish that happens soon

My wife and I used to battle over the best Shawarma around and there are lots in the area to choose from. Along comes Shawarma Fusion for us to try out. OMG! We have agreed that this is the best Shawarma around. A little different than some other flavours but so good.
We'll be back.

Very happy with our chicken shawarma plates! Good serving sizes and the taste is amazing. You get to customize your toppings and lots of veggie options available. Chicken is juicy and tender. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends for sure!

I used to come here every week for my shawarma fix. I live in Mississauga now but I still make a trip down to Guelph every so often just to order from here. I’ve been to a number of shawarma places all around the GTA and believe when I say this is the best shawarma I’ve ever had. Their chicken is buttery smooth, their sauces are amazing. Nothing compares to this place in my honest opinion. Shawarma on the rocks is my go-to, definitely give this place a try if you haven’t done so already.

Busy place.that means people enjoy the food. Placed my order and stood outside to allow others to order, took some time but they had to juggle lots of people. Things were done safely and all people were very respectful. Food was delicious hence the crowd. If you like shawarmas you have to try these guys.

Pros: you get more food vs osmows, you get juicier chicken, you pay LESS money for it, you get your food faster, and it's less crowded inside (and there's more space inside to sit and eat with friends when covid passes).

Cons: you will spend all of your money of shawarma, seriously, it's so good

The meat is rubber.good shwarma starts with good quality meat, not faux meat that has then been steamed into a shoe.i mean who are u kidding.locals thats who.this place would close in the city.disguised badness with lots of really bad garlic sauce.ive had other shwarma in guelph and all was bad but this is the worst.really.things have changed in the last hr i have been on the toilet.you now owe me the $70 I have lost.really not fresh

I love this place, I've come here probably twice a month for the past year.
Have yet to be disappointed, Food is always fresh (Its always busy when i go) and portion sizes are great.
Staff is friendly as well they will have my business for the foreseeable future

We randomly ate here when we were house hunting in the city and now that we live here, we come back every 2 weeks or so.

My one SMALL complaint is that you're allowed 5 toppings and lettuce counts as a topping.

Becoming regulars during covid.my partner and I love it everytime. Same guy always working and he's always polite and fast. Only thing I can think of I'd change is getting a spicer hot sauce but still keep the one you have. Great portion, always tasty and pricing is reasonable.

Hands down best poutine I have ever eaten in my life. Guys cook a fresh batch in front of your eyes.

One of the best shawarma places in guelph, they have a big varieties of toppings, their chicken always fresh, their garlic sauce you gonna die for, staff are great, their service always fast.

I've been coming here regularly since they opened. You definitely get more bang for your buck here than at other shawarma places. Also the staff are always friendly, the place is always clean, and the ingredients are always fresh.

I will also vouch for how impressive their memories are. It didn't take them long to get my order down pat. Although, I have been switching it up more recently. There's more than a few good things on the menu!

Best shawarma in Guelph. I go there regularly and the staff are always so nice. One time I forgot my wallet and they told me not to worry about it and pay next time. Best bang for your buck. They cook the chicken properly unlike osmows.

It was not worth spending the money we did on 2 chicken and rice dinners, the spicy sauce tasted like cheese whiz and chipotle and the chicken was wet loool. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone with tastebuds.

The best lunch I have ever had. Every time I come to Guelph I make a point of getting either lunch or dinner here. The only bad thing about this place is that there is only one of them. The Sharma plate is an amazing deal.

Bought food for my family for dinner, wife and kids loved the meal. I thought it was alright, would maybe order a sandwich instead of a plate next time for myself. If you like a shawarma and haven’t tried them it’s worth the try.

It is small, and as the previous reviewer stated, probably family run. Had the Shawarma Plate, and really enjoyed it. Had a little trouble hearing the server behind the counter, but managed to get a decent meal, and for a great introductory price. Chicken was tender and tasty, and the quality of the other food was quite good also. We will definitely be returning to try out some of the other dishes.

My husband and I love this place. Chicken Shawarma plate is great. Lots of food and it's always hot and fresh and delicious. Garlic sauce is sooo good. Be warned hot sauce is hot.
Poutine is good too, nice gravy. I really like that the plates come with veggies too. Delicious and the price is right!
