Shawarma House

Great shawarma spot! Super friendly staff and huge portions. Prices have gone up understandably but well worth your time and money.

The service was excellent the portion were very big. Had to bring leftovers home. The price was right

Best shawarma in Ottawa! They have fresh ingredients and are always very nice. Last time we went, one of the items we ordered would take a while and they gave us a small plate of potatoes to tide us over while we waited - so unexpected and such great customer service!

Their shawarma is the best, have been eating here for more than a year and never an issue with the food. But I'm writing this review to mention that their service could be better if they smile more and understand that we have the right to customize our plate for example, because I noticed that whenever I try to add/remove something from my plate or even just ask for a side sauce that they forgot to provide me, they get upset and the smile is gone and you can definitely see it in their face. That happens especially with the lady in the cash, the skinnier one. I hope the managers see this and tell her to make customers feel welcome. Thank you.

Went here at 5: 30 pm on a weekday. Asked for a family platter. Guy told me I had to wait at least 15 minutes. So I said "Ok then, give me kababs". At which point he said 30 minutes. I walked out. This place has gone downhill. I went to Osmow's instead. Food isn't what it used to be nor is the service. Won't be going back for a long time.

1st time here, got a beef shawarma. Delicious, meat was tender and juicy. Lots of flavour! Would come back.

Tried several around. This one is the best so far. Small shawarma sandwich is not small:) Decent food.

I have been a regular customer here for more than 2-years. I’ve ordered for takeout and delivery, for lunch and dinner, for myself only and for groups. I have never been disappointed! I’ve lived in a few different parts of town and tried several shawarma establishments. This is among my favourites.

The Happy Couple is our go-to meal. It is perfect for a filling dinner for two, plus a couple lunches the next day. The Family Meal is also great for larger groups. Containers are always crammed full and they give lots of pita.

I’ve walked in to order and the line always moves well and there are lots of staff. They have always been very kind and patient with me and willing to make suggestions. It can be loud in there and they are usually doing multiple orders at once, so speak up!

I’ve unfortunately witnessed people who I can’t even hear speaking when I’m standing next to them, getting frustrated with the staff.

Great little find and I can’t wait to go back.

Great food and good prices. Garlic isnt too heavy on the stomach. Recommend if youre in Kanata/West Area!:)

25min out of my way and it is always worth the trip. Amazing staff, amazing food. Can't go wrong.
