The worst shawarma I've ever tried, soggy and bland, smelled stale! Ma'amoul was pre-packaged and bad as well. The only saving grace was the baklava.

Ferhat was so friendly and helpful while I forgot to pick up my order he made a good experience for me so I would highly recommend this location to all my friends and family. He deserves 5 star.:)

I invited some friends last night to this place and ordered some chicken and beef shawarma. Unfortunately the food couldn’t be eaten and complained to the staff and his response was clean your table before you leave ……. Super rude and very disrespectful. So food is garbage and service and attitude was unacceptable. I will never go back to this place

Service especially bad. New hires do not understand customer service, not knowing menu, mixing up orders.
Food too expensive. $20 for a plate? No hot sauce? Nope.

They deserve 1 star. Started coming here 3 years ago. Year 1 they actually served a respectable shawarma for the area and the price wasn’t outrageous. These days I would never return. It looks like the employees change every week, ain’t the quality is so bad. I’ve gotten a few chicken wraps from here that had really are over cooked pieces in. Had a friend who chipped his tooth while eating his shawarma. Save yourself the hassle and disappointment and don’t visit here unless they completely change owners and maybe get their quality back to normal standards. Complete waste of money.

Been eating there for 14 yrs used be the best in North York was there at least twice a week haven't been there since they went cashless thought l'd try them tonight very disappointed Swarma fell apart on the first bite noticed the panini press is gone l always add a couple of falafel balls to my sandwich and they were fresh made but dry and flavorless to the point that l tossed the falafel balls, had 2 young guys working no clue what they were doing very sad probably wont go back

They are incredible. The guys will make you a meal that you will love! Fresh munchies open till 3AM

Best location! Been coming here since 2008! The food is just great & the staff has been super friendly every time I’ve walked in. They keep the location very clean as well 5 stars!

Very disappointed. We ordered chicken shawarma combo and beef shawarma combo from Uber eat, we didn’t receive any pops, we received wraps! I checked the pictures online, combo is supposed to be meat, sauce, fries in a box and with Pop on the side! Fries are cold. That’s not what I want, so sad.

Service was the worst one that I have in my life and price is expensive according to taste worthless I don’t prefer to eat something there ever never

Great shawarma for a late night snack or even during the day. Even for 3am line moved fast for it being busy.

️ Horribly managed. Staff is unprofessional and love to argue in their language while customers are there. They never have the deliveries done on time and make us late for other deliveries. They also have no parking so we get tickets waiting for them to finish what should have already been done. Take your business elsewhere.

Tried this three years ago and it wasn't good. Tried it again today and still isn't good, probably got worse. One more chance to redeem themselves. Too bad, theyre open so late but the food just doesn't reflect the premium your paying. This store needs to look at their food practices, their pricing and the overall business model. Chicken is bland and veggies just didn't seem fresh.

Over priced, stale and unhygienic food topped with rude customer service. Especially when you're ordering through uber eats or other food delivery apps, they don't give you option for custom toppings to add or not add. Their baklawas are good, but priced at a rate that you won't be able to afford your mortgage if you ate those everyday. I don't recommend this place, there's many more shawarma places that are beyond better. Just Google them, and see the ratings.

Pretty overpriced, $15 for the chicken shawarma on the rocks. The hot sauce is a generic Frank’s hot sauce, expected something more authentic. Wouldn’t come back.

Horrible service not 1 sign saying "cashless" exept at register so you only see it once you already ordered and they made the wrap. And the best part an atm is sitting right there bedide tge drinks. Staff just dont seem to care n just rude about it. Probably better off anyway with the greese and oilbuild up behind the grill. Dirt and grime in the drink fridge (even the door falling off the fridge) exposed fithly wires all over hanging from sealing. N not even start with the " selection of veggies in the prep station more like lack there of" Will take my buisness elsewhere n recommend anyone just to go up the street to shawarma plus. Way more hygenic and proper customer service.

I should have read the reviews before ordering. The person who packed my meal is either blind, doesn't care, clueless or all of the above. Almost half the chicken that was provided to me was burnt to a crisp. Most unathentic shawarma meal ever in my life.

These guys are clueless. Order on Uber eats and you’ll get it wrong. These guys are out to lunch. Good luck lol

A heavy let down spot. First of the food was wayyy too salty, I believe the pickles was the cause of this and as a result overpowered all the other flavors.

The service was very messy and unorganized, I do think the staff is well mannered and kind but I waited 40 minutes due to a few customers infront of me ordering 3 shawarma plates each causing the hold up.

I accidentally got a mixed shawarma wrap instead of chicken. It was delicious though. What should I do about the price difference?

Every time I come in they take 15 minutes to make my food. Very lazy people working here. It’s a fast food place not a restaurant. I’m done buying from these guys.

The food was really disappointing. We ordered beef salad and chicen with fries. Beef was burnt and chicken was dry and stale. Also the lady who took our order was rudely impatient when taking our order, while there was only us in the restaurant! We paid $38 for these disehes plus two drinks. Never will try it again.

Great shawarma wraps. I've tried their chicken, beef, and mixed shawarmas and they're all very tasty.

I go to this restaurant sometimes for lunch. It is so disgraceful to see one person working behind the counter. The owner should be ashamed of themselves to have one person working by themselves, especially during the lunch period. The poor guy was dealing with pick-ups, deliveries, take-outs for people in the store and people using apps. The worker was obviously overwhelmed.

Management, do better.

I was just BULLIED at this restaurant (see image attached) trying to help them.

I asked for beef wrap. More patrons came in. They gave me chicken. I tried to tell them that, since I asked for beef, they may have made a mistake with another person's order. They thought I wanted my order redone, and I told them I was OK with chicken.

Then the guy asked if I wanted ketchup, and I said "yes, please". He smeared ketchup on my fry box, and gave me ketchup that was gross and all stuck together. I had to clean everything before I could eat.

I was trying to help, and they bullied me.what is wrong with people, seriously? ! Normally I only leave positive reviews, but this made me really sad and I had to share.

Unskilled workers and poor quality, this is what I can say about this restaurant, the shawarma wrap was uhhh, the pickles were so bad, and even the fries were so disgusting you can feel the oil in your mouth, never back again

Shawarma max is an absolutely legendary shawarma establishment. Personal Favourite dish is a mixed shawarma and the unbeatable Baklava’s. Been coming here for years with friends and family. No doubt the best in Toronto and maybe Canada. Receb, Emrah, and Sehaj are legends. The Picasso’s/ Michael Angelo’s of making shawarma wraps.
