THIS place has now become my ABSOLUTE go-to for everything on their menu. So fresh and their falafels are THE most fresh and well made in the city, hands down!

The staff is amazing, funny and kind.the atmosphere is lovely and very clean!

The only reason why I only chose a few meal options is because I haven't had them all yet lol!

Looking forward to my next meal there!

The food is excellent but I always have to argue with the staff every time. I do want want my salad in a combination plater to be under all warm ingredients. It seems so difficult for them to understand. (Warm mushy lettuce is not the way we eat this). I always ask for the manager to get my message across. It should not be that difficult. When I ask this to the young servers, it seems that I speak a language they never heard of. If I ask for the same portion of salad to be simply put in a separate plate, they say they have to charge for an additional salad.
Go figure!
I hope that management responds to this.

On a good day the food is excellent
Its a large establishment lots of room and pretty clean, etc. The food is fan f*ckin tastic lol!

Fast courteous service. Large portion. Taste was just not not up to par with what you would except given the reputation: turnips were off, potatoes were earthy, garlic sauce weak.

Ordered family platter, specified chicken and when I noticed they gave beef, I called and they offered for me to come pick up a large order of chicken. I asked if I need to bring anything back as it’s been a couple hours since I picked up. She said no, I can pick up the large order of chicken. When I get there, another employee said I have to bring back the beef, would not honour what their employee told me. After spending that much money, they wouldn’t even make it right. Terrible service.

This was the first time I went to Shawarma Palace as they just opened a beautiful location in Orleans. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful - they did an excellent job renovating since a Montana's used to be there. The price of the food however is not so beautiful - it is on the pricer side of Shawarma places I have eaten at. Typcially a sandwich comes in two sizes large or small pita. This is a standard small shawarma for 8.75 either Chicken or beef. The platter is $19.75. I opted for the beef sandwich. I was excited to try it out but my excitement quickly fleeted as soon as I had a few bites. Every two bites I got a piece of fat that was so hard to consume I had to spit it out. The flavour of the sandwich was very lacking - garlic sauce was not garlicly at all. Other reviews stated the falvouring of the meat was the best they ever had - I would completely disagree. It one of the worst sandwiches I have ever, I would not return.

Great food, too bad that they mess up the order Every Single Time! The last 3 times I have been there has been something wrong. Even if I watch and correct, something gets forgotten. Too bad as it's the best tasting around.

This might be the worst shawarma place in all of Ottawa.yelling at customers in a foreign language? Delivering poor customer service and the quality of food is just as poor. Think twice before going. Many better shawarma places in the area

Ordered 2 chicken shawarma sandwiches (delivery) the chicken was not cooked and 2 sandwiches went into the garbage literally minus the test bite! Called them to complain as we weren’t used to this quality of food from them! They were rude on the phone and hung up mid call. Never supporting this place again! 0 stars if I could!

Very delicious! The meat is tender, juicy and flavorful and the garlic sauce is amazing. The potatoes could have been a lil fresher but I went late at night so that's my own fault. I'll have to remember to get a sandwich instead of a platter next time because they only gave me 2 pitas and the platter was huge and has so much in it that the next day it just wasn't good and I wasted alot. (The salad and potatoes inside the platter get soggy/not good and it's hard to seperate that from the rest so you can eat it the next day.) The sandwich would be a better option for those who struggle with eating leftovers. The restaurant takeout line was very long and staff try to get rid of the lines by making the ordering process fast pace, so if larger crowds and having to order fast gives you anxiety I would suggest ordering delivery.

The time they gave me the wrong sandwich, I ate it, and I said ok, and the following two days, I ordered thru the phone at 6: 30 and got the order at 7: 15 even tho they told me to come at 7: 00.
Customer service was okay as the cashier apologized, but their system was below zero.

Absolutely disgusting and expensive. Should be renamed Shawarma Disgrace, it was nothing but gristle and so so lackluster. I Couldn't eat it. Shame as the resturant looks nice inside. The Staff where friendly but angry looking all the time we where there. I won't be back to anyone of these establishments especially this one

I didn't like it there.costumer service zero specialy some kids on front. Plus I ordre it a plate to go they give just a little bit of chicken and very old potato and the guy after me he ordre 2 plates they make full of chicken plus a new hot potato. What a experience

Amazing food and the meat to rice ratio is insane. They definitely do not cheap out on the meat. Especially during these times of inflation, the generous amounts of meat are definitely appreciated. Highly recommend!

I've loved the Orleans Shawarma Palace since it opened a few years back. I was worried when they announced the move to a larger location that the food quality would decrease. I am happy to say that this wasn't the case! The shawarma meat is still as good as the day they opened their doors and the vegetables just as fresh. Always enjoy dine-in or take out:)

I have eaten here multiple times and it was good. This time the chicken in the shis tawook was so overcooked and hard, must have been frozen chicken because it was inedible. For the price you pay its crazy to not be able to bite into chicken as it's like cardboard. I've never not been able to bite into chicken, it's not normal. Even the salad was plain its normally filled with carrots and peppers. Called the store to complain and the manager didnt even bother to call back after 2 days. Obviously they dont care about customers returning even though weve been regular customers since they opened. Priced have gone way up and quality has gone way down.

At first I thought it was too expensive. I got home and saw the portions, and I changed my mind.
The meal are GENEROUSLY HUGE.
Both meat and chicken are so yummy.
The salads are amazingly good.
Unlike other places, thier humms is not pasty. It was nice and nicely seasoned.
The only con is that the potatoes were too greasy. Hope they fix it next time.

Probably one of the best places In Orleans for authentic shawarma. The place has plenty of parking, huge dining area which is kept clean, a huge variety of meats plus kebobs and falafel.
The workers are very friendly and make sure your order is done as expected. The prices are fair compared to the food portions one gets. The food is prepared fast, if you are in line expect to wait 10 minutes or so. It's better to order in advance for pickup.
I personally only tried the kebob sandwich and friends got beef shawarma warps which I also got to taste. The meat was soft, juicy and plentiful, the vegetable and garlic sauce was fresh, the pita beard was nicely toasted. Loved both the items we got and I'll be trying other things next time and will update my review hence forth.

Warning!
If you are getting sandwiches make sure you tell them to double wrap them or use the paper bag that comes with the wrap to eat them because the butter paper wrap they come in leaks very quickly.
