Shawarma Queen

'Shawarma Queen' serves the best Shawarma in town. I'm a regular customer here and would definitely recommend other tasty-food lovers to check it out!

They serve the tastiest Shawarma around my neck of the woods. Authentic middle eastern food. A must visit folks!

I'm sorry, but feel the quality has deteriorated. Everything that we got were salty. Rice, chicken and esp falafels. Falafels were very salty and were over cooked that they were literally blackened. Hoping the reviews help better the food.

Ordered butter chicken poutine and chicken shawarma plate. Had high expectations as the reviews are high but was very disappointed. Chicken had almost no flavour, and was dry. They do put on a lot of sauce but the taste just wasn't there.

Butter chicken poutine was okay, but caution it is the same shawarma chicken with just a butter chicken sauce.

Overall I would not come back, paid $37 and am still hungry

See photos, I ordered a large chicken on rice from Uber, I was given a medium, with the excuse that "i was charged for a medium". It is the restaurant's responsibility to accurately describe the item, I ordered Large, should have gotten a large. Other than that:
Chicken was too salty, tatziki sauce too watery. The restaurant was also extremely cold inside. Not recommended overall

Ever since they got new owners the food as absolutely no taste. The beef is old they don’t give you fresh food. I’ve been going there for years but now I have stopped.

It was very mediocre, rice was dry, and the quantity of chicken they put is way too less, will not be returning again. Your best bet is to go to osmows instead of a plate full of food with lots of chicken and for a cheaper price

Food has lost the authentic Middle Eastern taste! Not sure if it is because of what the majority of their customers want or the recipe has been lost in the transition to the new lead management.

However, happy to say that I did not have any complaints about the meat quality. Like in the past, the chicken was free of all ligaments and had no traces of tiny bones. Have visited other places where the chicken is never up to the mark.

I will say this is by far one of the best Shawarma place and their kebabs are a must try, super tender, way better than those fancy over priced restaurants, & the portions are insane, 1 plate can be eaten for days!

They have one of the best chicken Sharma's in Brampton. You always get a decent amount of meat.

This used to be a great shawarma restaurant until new ownership took over and started charging things to save money

A good way to lose your business is to buy a great customer base restaurant and start changing everything trying to save money

They are more focus on increasing price rather than stick to quality, and if you ask for second bag for your pops, it’s chargeable and topings it’s chargeable, chicken smells too as they store it for long hours after cooked and for what you guys charge $14+ $$ for single wrap if everything else to put into is chargeable?

Always the fastest chicken on the rocks. Great flavour on the rice and chicken. Sauces are also nicely balanced. I come here 1-2 times a week!

An extra tablespoon of meat.for 7 dollars it is very expensive and the meat is old and dry.it is not worth it.it is very expensive and the service of the staff is not good. I am very sorry I feel that I wasted my money to the garbage. I absolutely do not recommend it.the meat was very burnt.

The chicken is amazing, cooked perfectly, has a nice roatsted taste. The chicken on the rocks is amazing. Also the chicken shawarma and beef are the best I have had

The flavour of the food was great, but Shawarma Queen has really fallen short over the last few months. I understand covid has a huge impact, but they've raised the prices AND are giving smaller portions. They skimmped on literally everything in my plate (the salad, rice, fries, meats and sauces). Its hard to justify spending the money on something like this.

It don’t deserve any stars but because The post wouldn’t go through without one I am forced to give 1 star. Horrible service!
My first impression today was what the hell is going on with the staff here. An older staff was yelling down on the younger one for a long period of time, the poor girl looked so ashamed. Lady couldn’t careless if there were other people in the restaurant.
The young girl served me and she put the wrong size meal which was a large- I didn’t wAt plaza and had 2 spoons whilst having lunch with my colleagues I could not continue as it was too salty and it made my belly turn. I rushed back to the restaurant and explained what happened and requested a refund. Young lady spoke to the aggressive staff and she came arguing with me about my request for refund, I informed her that she was yelling and she should tone it down but she continued yelling.
Finally after a long time of her telling me no, she took my number and said she will call me after she contact her manager. At 3: 08lm I got a call from her stating that her manager didn’t approve of the refund and that I ate half of the food. At that point I thought what kind of business is this! I went back to her and she said no and turned her back and went to the kitchen. I asked for the manager name and number and she said that she did not want customers to reach her. I didn’t get a name or number. Worst experience ever!

Shawarma queen is by far the best in the GTA. The food is always fresh, the quality superb, and the food is delicious! Great portion sizes for the price. It is my family’s go-to for catering parties and takeout. Staff is super friendly and welcoming.

Very friendly customer service, but I feel like Shawarma Queen is not the same when it first opened. Pita was very soggy when I got home, it just fell apart. They need to improve their sauces. Where is the flavour of tahini? Sumac on the onions would be great, as well.

Delicious! They are super nice and friendly. Customer service is on point. They were trying out a new butter chicken recipe which was delicious. Although we ordered shawarmas, we will be back to try their butter chicken wrap!

It's not shawarma. If you truly know how authentic shawarma is prepared and how it tastes, you will realize Brampton shawarma places serve you marinated chicken on rice. They don't serve Shawarma.

The customer service was great though.

I find that the lady was stingy surving the meal compared to the male employees. I ordered 2 large take out only for it to be a medium amount dished. Please be more generous when customers are paying over 37.00 thanks.

Shawarma butter chicken (added new to menu) is yumm.havn't tasted something delicious like this. Loved it

Aug 24th mid-day - chicken shawarma.
Was hungry so I ate it. Salt level 180+%. It was worse bad. Can't believe they sold something like it.

Quick and quirky ingredients in shawarmas (olives huh?). Price to portion for a large is less than the market average. The chicken isn't anything to rave about.but still good enough. A solid 3.5 for a Brampton shawarma spot.

Worst shawarma I have ever had.never going back. You are selling just rice and chicken for $17. Seriously! Totally waste of money.

I came to Shawarma Queen as per a friend recommendation. It was my first time at this Business.

The young lady that assisted me, was very helpful and polite (Tuesday May 24th at 9: 40pm).

After I made my order and paid, I asked for the washroom. I was told that they are closed. I told her that I have a long drive because I live in Guelph. She kindly went inside to ask someone and she was told that due to the time, it was closed.

The business closes at 10pm. Why are you going to prohibit the access/use of the washroom during business hours? The time was 9: 45pm.

The food was tasty but very salty.

I won't come back and I do not recommend this Business!

A fresh, new twist to Shawarma. The rice is tasty with fresh flavours, the chicken is cooked well and the sauces bring it all together really well. Overall a delicious shawarma on the rocks! It is more expensive than your regular shawarma chain but it makes up for it!

Hands down the best tasting shawarma I’ve ever had, not to mention amazing service! The young lady that served me was super friendly, patient and informative with suggestions. The only thing I didn’t like was the price you pay for the portion you get - I spent $13 for a small (maybe I’m just bitter because it was so delicious and I just wanted more!) Definitely recommend visiting this restaurant!

Taking down 2 stars coz this is overly priced for no reason at all.like bro come on.its a shawarma not a steak.

Had the chicken shawarma and half and half with chicken, both were amazing. The portion sizes are generous and it’s well priced. Also the brown rice was super flavourful!

Reading reviews I thought portion size must be small and ordered large. But I couldn’t even finish my Shawarma I could only eat half. The food was tasty and good

Horrible. Ordered through Uber Eats. After the order is taken, I get a notice that there is an extra cost of $. 50. Not sure for what. Even after I already graciously gave them the $2.00 tip to the restaurant. Then my order sits "pending" for 20mins. No driver even booked. I cancel it and they charge me $17.40 because the order was already made. Horrible service.

I very much like the food of this place. I was always a vegetarian and never liked chicken or beef and believe me when I ate at Shawarma for the first time.it was fabulous. And now it’s one of my favourite restaurant. Oh! And it’s always fresh! And the employees too are friendly and quick. You guys must Surely visit the place and ya do try the chicken poutine! It’s one of my favourite.

I used to come at this place often and liked their food but now this place not good anymore. I took 2 chicken plates last week, food was ok but didn’t like their sauces and customer service at all. Earlier it was little more professional than now. To be honest, looks like management is changed because they hardly have any knowledge of what they are serving.
I am disappointed and don’t wanna eat at a place where the environment is not welcoming at all.

Had a horrible experience at the store. Couldn't even prepare a chicken on the rox properly. And the wraps that I ordered were broken and had hot sauce when I specifically asked for hot sauce just on the side for some of them. Even the rates are higher and the employees have changed. I've been a regular customer for a long time and I'm disappointed to say that this will be my last time.

Delicious shawarmas and their poutine is also amazing. Definitely recommend it. Staff was friendly and place was clean. Toppings station was so cleaned they deserve 10/10

I just finished having my Chichen Shawarma Roll and i found the flavours were totally missing. The chicken bits didnt have any char and this tasted bland. I have had great shawarmas before but this one was kinda Meh! Considering the rating of this place, i was expecting better flavors. Size of Shawarma and Price is fine and comparable to other chains. My only issue is with Taste which can be subjective offcourse.

Friendly staff and great middle eastern food. Best falafel wraps in town.
Want authentic falafel? Ask them to make it like they were going to eat it. 5*

I went there on the advice of a friend and after reading positive reviews. I had beef on the stick and chicken on the stick. However, I was disappointed after tasting it because there was a taste difference in the beef (like old stock), and also I couldn't eat due to the salty taste. And for the chicken, I was looking for a microscope to see if there was any chicken. I'm never going to recommend it to anyone again.

Tried there chicken shawarma for the first time I found it better in taste and quantity as compare to osmows.

Got chicken on the rox rice was loaded with just enough chicken cover the rice. Had a magic garlic sauce which disappeared when came home. Has some left over the same evening it was all dry. Would never go there again. Nothing beats Osmows

I went to this restaurant at 8pm and They didnt allow me to dine in. They said the dine in is closed after 8pm which is no where mentioned. Really disappointed as I was traveling and had to break fast (Ramadan) in between.

First time going from a reccomendation and im never going back The female who worked behind the counter has an attitude problem Didnt take the change from her after she threw it on the counter, making some change fall on floor but in overall, her attitude alone ruined my experince. Plus the food wasn’t fresh at all

Really delicious food and well worth it, not many other Middle Eastern food can be found with the same quality of ingredients. Just love it.

You have to try this spot if you are tired of Lazeez and Osmows and want something better. Quality and taste are both here, happy to have found this spot!
