Shawarma Stop

The food was very good, but the rice was under cooked, im sure it is not always. The shawarma was delicious. I like the packaging and they give you a pita with the dinner plate. Very friendly staff! Will be bacm

Utterly poor quality shawerma. Really hate to be giving such a bad score but honestly any meal that costs more than $14 needs to be at a good quality standard. Unfortunately they fail to hit the mark. Quality of rice very poor. Felt stale. No freshness. Salad day old too. Flavorless. Will never come here again.

So I found out nobody was wearing a net to cover there head, ON top of that, I found a hair in my shawarma, I asked for it and I got an immediate respond, do you want your money back it's almost an end anyways. Like really? DONT I KNOW ITS ALMOST AN END? I said I want my food. She still didn't apologize and start making a new shawarma i said thank you in the end nobody responded on it. That's how they treat there guests.

I FOUND OUT A VERY RUDE BEHAVIOR.

Ignore previous comments from others about the owners not being friendly, this could not be further from the truth. I had a chance to go for the first time last night and they were both wonderful. They were also very fast in preparing the food and it was delicious.

Shawarma Stop offers delicious shawarmas with flavorful meat, fresh veggies, and mouthwatering sauces. The staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The only downside is the slightly cramped seating. Overall, a must-visit for shawarma lovers.

Local mom & pop shop owned by an old couple. Delicious Shawarma. Comes in various forms like a wrap, rice, poutine. Portions are huge, would suggest sharing with 2 people.

Seating area is more akin to a fast food place. You order and get your food from the front, sit and eat, then clean up after yourself.

It was good, but not the best that I've ever had if you're craving Shore mind you want something quick, definitely good place to stop.

This is our Go-to-place whenever we like to have falafel. They have the best falafel. I love how they treat their customer - Always with a big smile. Thank you.

First and last time eating at this restaurant. Food is pretty good, portions are quite big but I'm not impressed with the lady at the cash register who couldn't even look or properly acknowledge me, especially after I paid but didn't leave a tip.you're upset I didn't tip you for standing there and inputting my order on the computer yet it's part of your job title:) grow up.

Got the chicken wrap. A lot of salad compared to the meat. They toasted it like for 10 secs. $12.50 after tax.

I had the mixed wrap with fries and a drink and extra sauce. The wrap was large but lacked flavour both in the sauce and the meats. The fillings were not complimentary to each other and lacked cohesion. The fries were crispy but lacked salt and general seasoning usually found at places like this. I was disappointed when I had the food vs the reviews. For the money spent I could have had a more satisfying meal elsewhere

Best Shawarma in Markham, if that's saying anything anywayssss, it's a decent Shawarma good portions. If the staff likes recognizes you and you're a regular, I find the food is much better those days. Overall, I'm satisfied with this spot and it's as expected.

Lots of beef on the poutine but it's lacking some flavour. The chicken shawarma wrap is good but again missing some sauces for flavour commonly found in other shawarmas I've had at other places. Good portions for what you pay.

Great place for doing catering for work team meetings. Well priced and well packaged for pick up!

Food was ok prices were about 30% higher than their competitors, so overall I would give them a pass.

Tried their Beef Shawarma, but did not find the taste of individual elements to be aligned. Beef was quite try and also difficult to chew.

Maybe their Chicken one is better. Will try some other time.

Really disappointing, the rice doesn’t taste anything, the garlic potato don’t taste like garlic, the chicken was disappointing too, the only thing that had a great taste was the hummus wouldn’t recommend

First time ordering from here.in my honest review. I felt the quantity given was good.but completely lacked flavour. I haven't eaten at a middle eastern restaurant that didn't even have flavour in the sauces or pickles. Very surprised at the reviews. I guess works for ppl who like more plain food.

Great shawarma. Food is fresh and portions are generous. I could barely finish the chicken wrap. Someone in front of me ordered the shawarma plate and it looked like enough to feed two people. And very friendly service with a smile.

I had the beef wrap for 12.50.
Good: . The wrap is huge. Like the size of my shoe. Lots of meat and greens. It will fill you.
Bad: . It was barely grilled on the press. Like 10 seconds and not even hot. The beef was not tender and a bit dry. Also, the beef was not cut from the rotisserie but sitting in containers. The thin pita was bursting apart and not enjoyable to eat. For 12.50 it is too pricey.
Conclusion: . A mediocre experience. Why the over the top glowing reviews?
