Like a wet diaper. Bad tasting beef, almost fishy and acidic. Greens felt wilted. Really disappointed. Good service and cheap, at least.

The best part of Shawarma 's King is that they do open late especially on weekends for you to enjoy a Shawarma late night after a night hanging out with friends.

Not King but Decent

Definitely a quick take out vibes as there’s not really a place to even sit yet alone stand. Decent stop and go for someone who doesn’t want to feel bloated and full but to get something in.

Use to come here all the time as I got off from St. Andrews and made my way to work so it was convenient.

Food itself isn’t bad, but not the greatest. It’s one of those places where you know it’s reliable from a taste and what you’re getting. Kind of like Timmies, you know what you’re getting and it’s reliable.

Service is always good from my interactions with the cook even it it’s a 5min thing which I like and it’s light hearted.

Overall, I’d make the stop if I need to since they do open late as well but other options will yield unless you’re in the mood for a quick shawarma type.

Really bad! Bought 3 chicken shawarmas and all of them very soggy, the red wrapper was sticking to the shawarma and the red wrapper colour was stuck on the shawarma. The shawarma was dripping with some white water liquid.

10/10. Always makes the perfect wrap for me. Don’t blink, you might miss it- and that would be a shame!

Not the best, not the worst. No frills, quick take out. Missing ingredients of a traditional shawarma though

I really wanted to like this place and tried it again for the second time. Last time it wasn’t as tasty and didn’t taste any spice but thought I’ll just ask for more spicy this time and more toppings. I figured it deserved atleast a second chance. Let me tell you it’s still bland and I don’t understand where the hot sauce was my friends and I didn’t taste even the slightest kick after requesting it to be very spicy. Won’t be back.

Great shawarma. Small, unassuming place but with a big heart! Exactly what I was craving after a show at the theatre and it hit the spot!

Hands down the best shawarma in downtown. The lady serving us always has a smile on her face, is meticulous about how you want the shawarma and then serves the shawarma with the best possible combinations with everything hitting the taste buds just right. I go to downtown once a week and this has become my usual lunch spot.

Very disappointing. The portion sizes here are very small for the money you pay and the variety of things they put in their shawarma plates are very limited compared to other places downtown. The rice was very plain and they don't use alot of meat.

I tried the chicken shawarma and it was yummy. I love my shawarma with extra pickles and this place didn’t have pickles at all.

Had an incredible Beef Shwarma here! Succulent beef, with incredibly fresh vegetables, and overall it was just extremely flavorful food.

I paid 23$ for a shawarma plate and a drink.only to get little to no chicken.if they had given me more chicken maybe it wouldnt be too bad.they also believe it or not gave me one piece of potato.just a single piece lol.the salad is too oily, rice was ok and flavour of chicken was alright.its definetly edible just not the best quality

Was walking around for lunch and found this excellent place in the middle of high end places. Great price for a delicious lunch. Definitely come back

This place has gone downhill. I ordered the kafta plate. It was truly pathetic. No hummus, no pita, a lot of cabbage and rice to fill the bowl - no tomatoes, I asked for extra peppers - didn’t happen. No hot sauce that I requested and the place is dead - there’s no excuses. The kafta was microwaved (yes microwaved!) to its DEATH! Hard shrunken tiny meat kebabs. This is NOT a $17 meal. I wanted tabouli that was an extra $8 - ridiculous. And to find it looks like it’s a week old when I got home and the bottom filled with cabbage /lettuce filler. How to lose customers quickly!

This will be my last meal the shawarma king … it should be called the shawarma pauper! For $25 go elsewhere and have a sit down meal with a draft beer!

Shawarma's King is one of my main go-to's. I've been going to this place since it was in Toronto Eaton Centre over 20yrs ago and am happy it's still around, even though in a different location. The food is great. If you're a fan of Mediterranean this place ranks up there when it comes to a quick take-out meal. I've ordered from the whole menu over the years but my main go-to is the mixed plate. Delicious, perfectly marinated meats and the trimmings here are so good. The potatoes are seasoned to perfection and I really like the cole slaw too. All their sauces are good too but their garlic sauce is up there with the best of them. I definitely will always keep going back here when I'm in the area and need a good quick lunch. Note: there is no dining area here, only take-out.

Do yourself a favor and DO not eat here, the food is sub par, the rice were not cooked, so bad
