Their portions are great. Food is very flavourful. Perfect place for savoury and fresh food!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shawarnado in Mississauga, and the experience left me thoroughly impressed. The menu showcased an array of shawarma options, and I opted for their signature Shawarma Plate. The portion was generous, and the blend of flavors was nothing short of exceptional. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, and paired harmoniously with the fresh and crisp accompaniments.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. The attention to detail in both service and presentation added an extra layer to the overall dining experience.

Shawarnado has undoubtedly earned its spot as a go-to destination for shawarma enthusiasts in Mississauga. I look forward to my next visit to explore more of their delectable offerings. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a flavor-packed journey.

This is definitely a Gem in Mississauga. One of the best shawarma places hands down. The food is always delicious, and flavourful. 10/10 recommend.

Have been coming here for 4 years. Almost ordering every month or so on average. Last 3/4 times I came, I am being asked to pay extra for sauce on different occasions. Sometimes they are like it’s okay don’t worry but it has been really annoying. Like I have to beg for sauce while paying 15-20$ for some rice and meat. Recently it has not been a pleasant experience to buy food from here. Today again same convo. At this point I just left without food. Sorry to say I will not be coming back. I think considering food is not really cheap here and you also have to wait 10-15 mins for the food most times, and now the service is also going down (according to me with sauce conversion every time), it is not worth it. I recommended this place to so many people now I feel like they don’t want even care about business. Arguing with customers over 30 cents worth of sauce! If I ask for all 4 sauces on the top, you would put it but if I ask for one on the top and one on the side, that’s breaking your bank? Think for a second before you ruin your business.
Though I still love their food, I will be looking for an alternative.

Have been coming here for about 6 months. There are few employees who I got to know by face. Every time I go, I get this warm welcome like it's family. Couple of people there, try to remember my order like what toppings I like which makes it extra homey. Last time they gave us free potatoes because we had to wait for 30 mins or so for our food. Most restaurants don't give care.
Food is delicious and portion size good. Price is like any shwarma place.
Most importantly excellent customer service.
Special thanks to the tall black guy and a lady with scarf who works there.:) will get your names next time.

Update July 2023: not sure if ownership has changed or if there is no management/leadership there but the past 3 times I have been there, service has been inconsistent. This is unfortunate because this was one of my favorite places to grab a shawarma plate. Looks like I will have to find a new spot.

Update: the food is still very delicious and consistent.

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now. I heard rave reviews about this place so I had to see what all the hype was about. I went in and the prices were similar to other shawarma places.

The consistency and the quality of the food and superb customer service is why I keep coming back. I have been to lazeez, osmows and other shawarma places. This is by far the best. If you haven’t been here, you owe it to yourself to give it a try.

Great food and friendly service. Only thing is you would usually take out, not really a place to dine in at with a big group

Superb wraps at a reasonable price and they provide flexibility on toppings and spice level.

Their plates and meals are absolutely brilliant. If you enjoy “on the rocks” kind of meals, Shawarnado is your spot.

The staff - Mandy and a lady with spectacles (apologies I forgot her name) were very hospitable and generous with the sauces.

One of the best shawarma fast food spots in the GTA. Keep it up team Shawarnado!

The best place for shawarma lovers.the flavour of their sauces are extremely unique.chicken regular on half rice and fries with all sauces on top are my favourite.highly recommend 10/10
No more going to lazeez and Osmos

Must say the food isn’t bad but it was disgusting when my partner and I went inside. Flies everywhere.we have videos of bugs crawling on the floor and there was such a crazy amount of flies that they flew all over our clothes and into our food when I opened up the box for a photo of my food. Even worst was that when I got in the car, there was a fly trapped inside my take out bag. I don’t know how anyone eats inside.talking to other people I know, seems like a lot of them order from Uber or delivery so they never knew how it was inside the actual store.

Shawarnado catered an event for us roughly 100 people. Food was fresh and tasty. Everyone commented on how fantastic the food was. The owner went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. Excellent communication and customer service. I highly recommend and will be going back for any future events. Thank you again.

After having ordered from Uber a few times, we decided to drive up to the place - and were not disappointed!

The guy behind the counter was working tirelessly - taking orders, packing orders but was very pleasant, soft spoken and a just a humble person. You can tell there is so much effort and hard work and passion behind all this.
I would highly- highly recommend this place! An absolute hidden gem!

Chicken tasted like very old chicken.veggies were really soft. Lacks in freshness.also the wrap was over grilled, end up breaking due to crispyness. OSMOWS BETTER SURELY

Have to give a negative review due to the utter state of this restaurant. Everything was filthy, tables, chairs, food on the floor, even the counters were super dirty and messy.
Place is just a mess and disappointing to see that staff don't care one bit. Asked them about coening of the tables and no response

This is our go to place for shawarma. Absolutely love it and the food always tastes fresh. We had a mix up with our order but the owner ensured that it was corrected immediately. The service is great!

Never again. I asked for fresh cut chicken and just put it on the plate, nothing difficult about that. The girl gave me old chicken and when i took it back she said this is fresh chicken. I literally showed her and she said oh sorry give me 5 minutes. I’ve been in the restaurant business for 15 years I know the difference between fresh cut chicken old chicken thats covered in sauce. Just because you cover the chicken in sauce you cant cover up the fact thats old chicken. The people that eat there literally don't know the difference.

Super disappointed. I came here a few months ago and was so happy with the food and service. Now I've returned 8 months later and was so disappointed. There is no AC and its boiling. The washroom was broken so could not wash hands before eating. The older lady at the counter was extremely rude and kept rollong her eyes at every question we had. I wanted to make this a regular spot but the way this lady made you feel. I cannot believe we even paid for the food after how she served us. She literally made me no longer hungry. Be vary, you cannot ask questions about food if you're a new customer. I also think the owner is cheaping out on ALL these things, including by only having 2 people working during the middle of the day. They are not paying attention to their business clearly.

Normally I love this place and it's my go-to spot and the Dixie Eglinton area. Ordered a chicken shawarma wrap for lunch today and I'm going to have to say I'm not really impressed the amount of chicken that I received. It was absolutely pathetic even after I said something to the employee making my sandwich he told me that's the "new standard".

Using a tiny little scoop spoon the fill up the wrap. The wrap was more than half empty of both chicken and veggies.

There are at least a dozen Shawarma spots in this area I would recommend trying somewhere else. Just not worth the money for. Hit up Pita and Grill 50 cents more and they fill the wrap with chicken.

Hands down the best shawarma place in all of Toronto. Not only do they have great portion sizes, their quality has remained consistent over the years, even through covid. Please keep up the great quality food.

I visited several shawarma places before, and I used to go to Osmos and Lazeez, but this place is exceptional, the taste is BOMB, the owner is so sweet, I really loved the chicken meal plate and their Kofta is SUPER DELICIOUS, I never tasted shawarma like this before.definitely 10/10

Ordered food from here for a party. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. The owner provided excellent customer service and followed our requests to pack sauces separately. The serving sizes were substantial. The food was a big hit with everyone. Rice, chicken, Greek salad, Falafel, garlic potatoes, sauces, all recommended.

This is my all-time favourite restaurant for shawarma that is different from every other shop, good quality, and filling. I have never gotten their wraps, and their beef dishes are mediocre, but their chicken shawarma meals with the garlic potatoes are spectacular! I have frequent cravings for this place.

Big portions, big flavour. I got the chicken shawarma meal and was surprised to see the serving sizes provided. Loved the potatoes and the chicken flavour was good too. The tabbouleh was the only thing I wasn’t too impressed with. It seemed to be missing something. My wife had a chicken wrapped and loved it as well. Our friend ordered the baba ghanoush and that was also good, though it would be nice if it came with more than 5 pita chips lol. I’d definitely go back if I’m in the area and craving some shawarma.
