First time coming the hair studio and totally impressed with the customer service and excellent hair service. So satisfied with the hair cut from Mr Shazam and definitely will come back next time. Highly recommended!

It was my first time there, like reviews, a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, Jessica did my hair cut, I showed her a photo and results was exactly the same. After first wash at home, I’m still satisfied. She was patient and detailed oriented. Recommend this place for hair services

I have been coming to this hair salon for a couple of years now. The staff is friendly and helpful and the environment is welcoming, comfortable and clean. I enjoy going to this salon and find that it has reasonable prices. Natalie always does a great job with my hair whether it’s root touch-ups, full colour/highlights or cuts and I appreciate her advice on helping me decide what’s best for my hair. I would highly recommend this salon!

I travel from Toronto just to come here and have Jessica style my hair! She is not only kind and professional, but amazing at her craft! In fact, my sister has not only referred me to Shazam but my mother too! I highly recommend Shazam!

My son went for hair colour and had a terrible experience. The colour disappeared 80% in the first shampoo. When I called them they offered to colour again but even that faded in 2 washes, inspite of using the shampoo and conditioner they were selling at the salon. Complete waste of $300!

I had a beautiful and perfect haircut from Shazam with a reasonable rate. I was so happy to see myself after the haircut. Its been almost an year I've had one bcoz I wasn't sure about my long hair, literally I was afraid of losing my length after a haircut. But my stylist Irina was very good and she explained everything before we started cutting. I was so comfortable with her and she did an awesome job with my hair. She suggested a long layer cut with curtain bangs infront. Oh.that was beautiful. Thank you so much Irina and the entire team for your great service and all the best

I had gone months without having my hair done and was so n dire need to fix that. I called and Shazam had an appointment booked right in the next day! I had come in with dark brown down to my bun and wanted to have a bleach-out done. Let me just say, I am more than happy with my final colour. I Platinum in one session without breakage. Wasn't the best hair cut I've received. They asked for photos of what I wanted and I showed them, but then they didn't actually cut it the way I wanted. Someone else was having a meltdown about their hair colour not being what they wanted so I just really wanted to get away from that. The hair dresser was really nice and gave a great head massage during the wash though.

Great atmosphere, very welcoming and clean. Wanting to make this place my regular hair salon now!

UPDATE: The salon owner (Shazam) reached out - I went in for another cut and he was very apologetic/sweet/understanding of the situation- he listened to my concerns and honestly I left very happy and love my hair now.would definitely recommend this salon:)

I got a haircut from here done by Natalie and I had a poor experience. She did not wash my hair properly, she washed it super fast and left my back wet. I also didn’t get the haircut that I asked for, I wanted curtain bangs with visible layers. I did not get any layers and my curtain bangs looked better before I got this haircut. Also, when I was getting my hair blowdried, she asked someone else to come and assist and the person who came was very aggressive with my hair (Natalie was not aggressive). I left Shazam feeling unhappy about my experience,

Came in nervous and confused about how to describe what I wanted. Nina (one of the hair dressers) provided an environment which helped calm those nerves + she helped me figure out exactly what I wanted with my hair, and now I really enjoy the look! (and I’m getting a lot of compliments on it)

Please review the 1 Star ratings first. Please do not let the positive comments fool you. I went to this place for years. (My hairdressers screwed up a number of times, but I liked her so I returned) Shazam asks every customer to write a positive comment and gives them a gift if they do. He pestered me over 5 times and I refused to do it given what I knew.

I stopped going there bc prices ALWAYS changed for the exact same cut/color. For example, I was charged $125 for highlight and cut for months. Suddenly, it was $200 (without tip)! I was fed up and told the stylists I was not returning. Shazam agreed to a set price. Eventually I learned he treats the stylist poorly despite the appearance he gives to the public. He makes the girls cry and has harsh demands and expectations on from them thus a high turnover. Many of the hairstylists told me but asked not to confront Shazam because they feared losing their job.

After Covid, he raised his (fluctuating) prices again and reneged on our set price - while charging a $5 fee for sanitizing products on top of your total (while he is driving a BMW). The girls also told me, he dircts them NOT to inform the customers in advance if they are charging a higher or different price. "You don't tell them until after the hair is completed, not before. " Ultimately, I stopped going and will never returned as I had my enough. I find Shazam greedy, money hungry, dishonest and a man who does not appreciate his staff and will justify his reasons for a fluctuating price, despite the same service.

Do not waste your money for Yorkville prices. He brings in new girls all the time and most do not know what they are doing bc he doesn't train them well. You are taking a big chance spending a lot of money for a questionable outcome.

I just came from getting my hair cut and coloured by Enrique at Shazam. I feel like a goddess! He is magic. I highly recommend this salon. Professional, kind, and such a good stylist and my colour is divine!

I have been going to Shazam for many years. There is no one better to trust my hair to. I went to him with a Covid mess and he already has me back on track. His talent at colour/highlights is unreal. You’ll get a great cut too. Shazam is a great human being. The atmosphere is warm, sincere and professional. Don’t hesitate to trust your hair to this salon. The best in the business. You will leave feeling like a better version of yourself!

I have been going to Shazam hair studio for 17 years now my daughters are now teenagers and they have never seen another hairdresser. All the stylist are amazing we love our time there and can’t imagine ever going anywhere else. I have even recently moved out Mississauga and take the hour and half drive just to see Shazam himself.

I got a haircut by Nina! What a wonderful experience. I am always reluctant to go to new hair salons out of fear that they won't listen or will cut too much hair. I rarely get haircuts for that reason. Nina listened and provided a wonderful hair cut! She did not take off too much but ensured my hair was looking healthy. I had originally come in looking for just a straight cut again because in the past when offered layers it did not come out looking the way I would want. Nina added layers and they look amazing! I have gotten so many compliments on my hair. Thank you Nina!

I got a haircut from Shazam. It was a great experience, my hair has been flat and it got voluminous after my cut.

I went in just for a hair consultation, but ended up staying for a highlight color and cut by Shazam. I told him about my hair dye allergy, and he was very careful with my scalp. It's been a few days now, and I've not had any reactions. Everyone I interacted with was nice and kind, and they're super gentle with your hair. If you have very curly hair and/or a sensitive scalp, I'd highly recommend coming here!

Shazam did my cut and color. It was a difficult one as i had a strong henna on my hair. Still it turned out very well!

This place is so great! Blanca was excellent, she listened to exactly what I wanted and came out 100% satisfied.

Unfortunately, I cannot give more than 1 star for overall experiences at the salon. First of all, I was not offered a cup of coffee or tea or even a cup of water I actually expected when I came in for the service. Second, I got a very short consultation on my hair with the mask on my face, and here, HOW he hell do you know what hair cut do I need if you do not see my face? Maybe the haircut I chose does not suit me? Additionally, I have a very fine hair and I need a good cut and a volume. I was very specific in telling the stylist that I do not know what cut suits me. I need a suggestion, i need help and I need him to decide about it, especially for the money i pay! I expect! Third, I hate blond and I look like grandma in blond and I was suggested a blond hair.disaster! Did not do it! During the whole service I could not take the mask off to check if I even look good, and now, the cut is hmmmm. I think I would look better if I shaved my hair completely. I feel horrible! The styling made me look even worst.fat on my face which I wanted to cover a bit. I have a bang now that totally does not suit me.and I have paid over $160 for the service. Not happy, do not recommend! This is crazy! When you pay that much you expect professional service! Someone who knows what they do! Someone who does not look at the picture to cut your hair but has imagination and skills to choose the best suiting you haircut and color! To the stylist: When you do your job for that kind of money get the training and learn! People are not to experiment on them. I am hurt personally more than my wallet!

After reading all of their great reviews, I decided to entrust Blanca with my hair after a year & a half of not cutting it, & I am amazed. The service was immaculate, the studio is very clean, the atmosphere is very welcoming & modern. Blanca was extremely professional & knew exactly what she was doing. She gave me exactly what I asked for, & gave me tips on how to style my hair for a beginner. I will continue to go to Blanca. She is the only one I trust with my hair now!

I have been going here for years and have nothing but positive things to say. I recently moved out of the GTA and continue to do the drive to Mississauga for the friendly service and great hair cuts.

First time here and it was a lovely experience. Nicole did a wonderful job with my balayage and understood exactly what I wanted. Everything was clean, efficient, and pleasant. Will definitely continue coming back.

If someone is spending $200+ they would expect some professionalism. Maybe they don't treat all their customers the same and that is highly unacceptable. I would have given more stars if the services provided and the attention given to me was better. Kindly attend one customer at a time and avoid leaving the customer in the middle again and again

I had an appointment with Shazam! He was amazing. I have thick, curly hair and he was able to handle it with no problems in a decent amount of time. Honestly, best cut Ive had in at least a decade! Go see Shazam, you will not be disappointed. Cant wait for my highlights in 3 weeks.

Shazam Hair Studio is a Port Credit treasure. Friendly staff, efficient processes and great value for your $. Natalie, the Studio's apprentice, is amazing! She listens to your needs but isn't afraid to be creative. Highly recommend!

I just want to add the the safety protocol being take at the salon is thorough. You can come in until your appointment. Then hand sanitizer and everyone wears a mask. They even take your temp.
At least 12 feet between clients. Chair and surface are being disinfected between clients. I get very safe. Great job everyone!

Such a wonderful place! I went there for haircut with Shazam. He is friendly and he did my hair exactly the way I wanted. His profesionalism is incredible. I am so glad that I went to this Studio.
