My hairdresser that I’ve been going to forever, moved out of town. She was awesome, was so scared to try someone new. I decided to make an appointment with Tony (owner). I was beyond thrilled with both my cut and colour. The shop is aesthetically pleasing. The girls who work the shop are super friendly. I’ve made my future 4 months worth of appointments. Highly, highly recommend this wonderful salon.

I used to go to this salon when I was in high school. I moved back to London a couple years ago and returned to this salon. Ashley has been doing my hair since I returned. Very happy with each experience. She’s friendly and listens to what I want and makes sure I’m happy with the overall result.

I’ve been going to Shear Experience since I moved to London 4yrs now and the atmosphere is such a pleasure! Tony is the owner and has been in business for many many years! He has a wonderful fresh look in his shop!
Devon is my hair dresser for the past 4 yrs she does a great job with colour and cut and I’m loving when she curls my hair! The best part is when she washes my hair she gives my scalp a massage Aww so relaxing! Thank you Devon! The 3 young women hair stylists are just wonderful, they are always pleasant and happy! I enjoy seeing them once a month!

My first visit to this neighbourhood salon was a pleasant one. I had my hair cut from long to medium. Ashley was quick and precise. Best of all easy to chat with while having my hair done. Happy to go back again.

Devyn was amazing! Super helpful and such a fun person to talk to! Definitely recommend her!

I give this salon 5 stars! What I like most about the stylists other than cheery personalities is their skills to communicate. They are thorough at making sure they don’t proceed to colour/cut until you are completely satisfied with the planned outcome high five to this team!

I had my hair highlighted Feb 16th being the first time going to this salon. Before going, I spoke to the stylist on the phone to make sure there was a stylist that had experience with blonde hair highlights and I didn’t want any low lights or ash products in my hair and she said no worries. Went in for the appointment and again said to the stylist I don’t want any low lights or ash colours and again no problem. She did 2 colours a bleach and colour. Once she washed my hair I commented that my hair looks dark and she said once we blow dry it your hair will be fine. It looked ok at the salon at first but once I got home from working my 12 hours night shift I thought I don’t like this. I called 5 days later and asked to have it redone because it was to ashy and rescheduled an appointment but they wanted to charge me full price. I just spent $250 and I said I wanted to talk to the manager and shouldn’t have to pay anything to fix my hair. No call back from the manager but staff said we will give you a discount on the hairdryer of $30 but I would still have to pay $110 to fix my hair. So I said no way. They had every excuse not to correct my hair. Please take caution when going to this salon for hair colour especially with blonde hair they don’t listen and don’t do what you want. How cheap are you that you can’t make someone happy and fix your mistakes but you have to blame the customer. I was so upset that I had to wait for a weeks before I posted this. We are going on vacation in 2 weeks and my hair looks dull and not like the shiny blonde I wanted. I will never go back our recommend anyone to go to this salon. This experience will also be posted on social media to warn people.

I am a new client of Ashley and had a fantastic first experience! I was very comfortable here and Ashley was very attentive and a great listener during the consultation before we got started. My hair looks exactly as my inspo picture. Highly recommend Ashley if you are looking for a welcoming and comfortable experience with great results.

Not anymore. When Amie left (?) I tried twice to get appointment but could not get a call back. I know a haircut 4 times per year is not a great customer but I payed double what they asked.

Cannot recommend Tony and this salon highly enough. Been going to Tony exclusively for over three years and he has helped me grow out a dyed blonde pixie cut into a gorgeous shoulder length bob in my natural blonde - something I had been trying to do for over 20 years. He makes me feel absolutely gorgeous. Plus the cost is so reasonable. Thank you Tony!
