The food is great, the service is excellent and the restaurant gives you a memorable experience. Sheikh Almandi is the best restaurant in ottawa.

Great spot, hands down. Mouth's watering just thinking about the kababs here - so flavourful, tender. Really top notch stuff, they don't skimp on quality. Oh and the staff? Super friendly, made us feel like family. Even gave us tips on how to grill our own meats. High time we visited again.

Hands down, the best restaurant for middleeastern food. The food is too delicious, the prices are affordable and reasonable, and the employees are helpful and nice.

Food is amazing and it’s one of those rare places that takes me back to the feeling of being home.

Recommended by a friend and did not disappoint! Thank you Sheikh Al Mandi for a successful Eid al fitr dinner which fed 10 people and so much leftover to spare. 5/5 taste and quantity.

I haven’t had rice like this in Canada. Exceptional. The portions are massive and the meat quality was really good. The kabab is highly recommended. Everything was fresh and well made.

Great Yemeni people making great food. While there are other dishes like Biryani served there, the Mandi is really where its at. Kabseh is good too, and the Quzi is phenomenal. The Mandi is something else even still

Every time I call them an hour or so before they close, they wouldn't take my order and tell me the kitchen is closed already. If that's the case, then please change your hours to say you close at 6: 30pm instead of 7: 30pm

Classic and a sample of Arabic tradition, the food tastes really good. I ordered Beef which was a mixture of rice and dry fruits on top and a separate sauce.worth mentioning that dine-in is not allowed in this place.

The quality of the lamb kabab was disappointing.

I liked their beef mandy. If you like rice you'll like their generous serving portions.

I have tried almost all the big dishes on menu and all featured high quality meats and very tasty all around. Each re-order of the same dish was consistent in quality and taste.

Mandi is tasty, enjoyed the meal.not too expensive, had a good meal with family, it is real arabian taste.

Amazing food. I just wish all staff would wear masks all the time specially since they are handling food. Seemed like staff were careless in that regards.

Can't believe I didn't leave a review yet. This place deserves 6 stars. Food quality is superior. I have been his client for over two years and they never disappointed. The only improvement I'd say is to improve their delivery times. If you have a catering order, expect to wait for about 30 minutes beyond the agreed time to pick up your order. Otherwise, please keep it up, and never get greedy, like the rest of local middle eastern shawarma places.

Poor quality, over priced for the amount they put. The meats very shawy, they put dark meat instead of chicken breast.

I do not recommend it at all.

Very authentic Arabian taste, I am a fan of Lamb Mandi. It's a true value of money. It is served with 1 kg tender Lamb meat and generous serving of rice.

Authentic Middle Eastern and Delicious Dishes! And it was ready right on time. Highly recommend!

I changed my review because this restaurant DOSE NOT serve Halal food.when I asked the owner about their meat supplier he panicked and got nervous and didn't provide me with proper names, authentication. His response was "you should trust me and if don't like it their are other restaurants in the city".

We were fooled by the reviews. The rice was still note done and when I made the remarks to the young man about it he said I don’t know what I am talking about. We were hoping for a delicious dish but we had a few bites and threw the rest in the trash.

I called hundred times, they dont answer or answering phone and saying stay online rudely, then hang up phone. Even though I waited some time and called again. You can busy, but it doesnt mean to do this way with the customers.

Great food and very generous portions. I have been ordering food from this place for over a year. When you call there is always a pleasant and friendly person taking your order. The food itself is superb. The Mandi is very delicious and the kebabs/BBQ is devine. The portions are always very generous. Today we ordered the family mix BBQ. Everything was heavenly. The meat is so tender and well seasoned. The mezza is great. The salad was very fresh and tasty. The rice is another story. Best rice I ever had! Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get.

The best asset this place has its consistently delicious food. I love that the quality and flavour of their dishes never changes. In my opinion their prices do not do their flavours and dishes justice. Keep up the great work guys!

I ordered item 4 in menu 1kg mandi lamb ($43) and item 28 in menu (chicken with rice $33) for 7 hungry people. The food was more than enough and it was very delicious, the meat melt in you mouth and the smoky rice with nuts was moist and wasn’t dry. I highly recommend you to try Sheikh al mandi. BTW, I suggest to change the photo on the menu with Abu Mutaz’s photo.
