They do not allow you to use the bathroom even in an emergency unless you buy something. And yell at you if you do not. Even if there is nothing you want or can afford.

Rolled in there late in the evening. Huge lit sign said open. On the door, the sign said open to midnight it was 10: 30 in a snow storm. There was an obstructed lit sign that gave the proper hours in the front behind a large ice cooler or display. But unless you were looking for it as you had parked your car at the pump and tried to get gas you wouldn't see it. I would give this a one, but in the past, my store experience was fine.

We stopped at this place to put some gas and buy a cup of coffee. We ordered a coffee and went to use the washroom.

The lady said only one person can use the washroom because only one coffee was ordered.

I asked her where the dust bin is and she said "I don't have to provide you one". I was shocked when I heard this because no one has ever treated me like this before.

She said, people come, throw the waste in the washroom and broken bottles cut her hand. I genuinely felt sorry for her. To my astonishment, she said in a very rude tone, " I don't want you to feel sorry for me".

I don't know what I did wrong. All we wanted to do is fill the gas, get a coffee, use the washroom and leave. But the lady was very rude.

Never will I go to this place again.

I am a person who believes in supporting small businesses and respect customer service staff but the way we were treated was unacceptable. Left the place with a coffee only.

I came for a truck parking at night and there was a sign board in corner of gas station which is not even visible at night.and in morning the lady wake me up and said to pay for parking or i am calling police. This was the worst thing i saw in my trucking career and the gas station doesn’t even have enough facilities, u can’t even make your coffee by yourself.

There aren't garbage cans at this facility. One can marked "recycling only" which was overflowing.

Same as other patrons needing to use the restroom being told I had to buy something so I did. The lady at the counter continued making snide comments about having to clean up the washroom after us. Excuse me, YOU need to clean YOUR restroom that is falling apart, complete biohazard. Stay away, there's another cleaner station just down the road from this one.

Unfortunate that the neglect is so OBVIOUS at this Shell location.
Garbage bins at pumps were grossly overflowing.
Two pumps were out of service,
No receipt paper at pumps that are in service.
Windshield wash station hasnt been filled in ages - spider webs all over the bin.
Yet it did not seem overly busy - lazy staff? Might be.

The lady who works the counter makes up generic prices like "grocery default. " I was also told I would get a deal on ice if I bought 3, which cost $15. Two bags cost $10. I also caught her making dinner in the bathroom l. I'd rather run my head through a wall and shoot myself in the foot then ever go back to this piss soaked hell hole. Sincerely a dissatisfied customer.
Also for some reason I was only taxed on gas. The CRA needs to shake this place down.

Stopped for fuel and while I was pumping $107.00 worth of gas, my wife went inside to use the restroom. She was immediately told she had to purchase something even after explaining that I was at that very moment pumping gas. After using the restroom she purchased a lottery ticket. I then went in to use the facilities and found them to be absolutely disgusting. We will think twice about stopping at a Shell station in the future.

Adding this horrible review for the stupid customers only policy for the washroom. Keeping in mind there are few places to go around here. I went in and saw no one in sight, seeing the sign regarding the washroom is for customers only, having to pee so bad, I ran to the washroom. As I was almost done, my mom came in, also needing to use the washroom when she was confronted by the lady saying we could not use the washroom. I yelled "too late" and finished up. My mom unfortunately didn't get to use the washroom. All before even knowing why else we stopped there, and for what. Keep your chill vacation vibes and don't stop here. Go to the next Petro gas station. If I could put no stars, that's what it would be.

My son and I needed to use the washroom before the long stretch of highway coming. We were going to purchase gas right after but the owner decided to be rude and said “the washroom is for customers only “ before asking me if I was going to purchase something. Told her I was now going to gas up at the next station instead of here. She said she didn’t care and continued to be rude. The store is very dirty and the washroom even worse. Smelled like feces and I’m sure that there was stool on the floor. Just poor customer service and overall rudeness.

Terrible service, the lady who works there is a scammer. Do not even give the whole “we’re sorry to hear that” reply to this review because you clearly aren’t if so many people have had bad experiences at this Shell and nothing’s changed! I know you guys are capable of being better, but this is just ridiculous. I will forever dissuade people from using Shell for the foreseeable future. If the other bad reviews aren’t enough to tell you to fill up at another gas station, I don’t know what to tell you. Awful, awful, awful.

The older lady here double charged me for gas and won’t return my money. I tried calling twice to have her say “the manager isn’t in” and then hang up on me. Tried to follow up with Shell customer service but they can’t refund my money either because the station retailer won’t respond to emails or calls. Ridiculous place and ridiculous owner.

Nothing in the store is priced. Apparently the 68 year old woman has memorized the price of everything but it changes weekly. When I asked about the policy, she turned her volume up and started telling me I was insulting her. How is someone supposed to chose between Nescafe or Maxwell house coffee when there is no price labelled on it? In Saudi Arabia, what you pay is dependent on your relationship with the store owner. Strangers pay more than friends and relatives. Wont be going back to this store again. Also, bathrooms ONLY for customers. Sad that Canada tolerates this kind of behavior.

Worst shell ever, diesel is 30% more than all other stations. LOL, check out the auto-bot reply below.

Visited this gas station to use washroom actually had enough gas so, lady on reception really misbehaved called me cheap cause I didn’t want to buy anything, she was old still I didn’t start any argument when i was leaving she started again beside i buy the mouth freshener, simply they bully customers.

I'm here right now, just saw all the lights on and the open sign on, but doors are locked
