I walked into this station at 5 great lakes intending to pay before I pump.
The clerk was on the phone when I walked in. She looked at me and without saying a word turned her back and continued her conversation.
I waited for about five minutes and even though another customer came up behind me I was still completely ignored.
Consequently I left without buying the gas.
Makes me wonder if these people are handed these job without any form of customer service training.
I gave a one star because no provisions are made for zero.

Worst person working at the store at night time… it was raining heavily outside and i was knocking on the door to ask something and the guy totally ignored me and continued making his coffee.he was so dumb that he continued talking on his earphones while i was draining in water outside.
The worst part is he saw me standing there and still ignored.worst place to come in urgent and uncertain cases

Being a gas station in Brampton, expectations are low - and by low, I mean through the floor. The quality of attendants that work at this location continue to astound me with their severe lack of competence. On top of that, the prices are usually inflated at this location. Avoid at all costs.

This Gass station staff very roughly behavior. Last night The boy didn't treat me well. Today evening again the same boy Speak very roughly. Everyone don't go this gass station.

If you have cash you have to inside pay first, then fillup and then go back again to get change back. There is no low rating, otherwise i would choose lowest rating

Cashier was rude and not helpful. First experience at this location was bad. Never go again and will no recommend any one.

@5: 57 went to the window there is guy inside, when I ask to buy lottery he said store is closed. What the heck. Then why r u inside. He doesn’t even tell the what time they open, rude customer service.

I was at the petrol station around 9: 05pm for car wash. When i reached the entrance of the car wash I noticed that the entrance was half blocked so I went inside and asked the girl whether the car wash is working. She said it’s working so I drove toward the car wash from the other side and tried to enter the code. Machine didn’t take the code so I called the girl, she ask me to enter it again and it didn’t work. Then she asked for the card no, I gave. She kept trying something and still it doesn’t work. Then she said it’s the problem with the card. I asked what should I do and she doesn’t know. I went to next shell car wash and I washed it. Actually I wasted around 15 to 20 min talking to the girl. The problem is they are not ready to accept that it was there problem and keep arguing with the customers.

I would like to ask the management and shell company to provide proper training to your staff and please teach them how to speak to customer

I was a regular customer at this gas station but from today I won’t be visiting this petrol station again and will suggest other not to go there

Visited the 5 Great Lakes Shell Canada location on July 12 in the early evening to fill up on gas. Upon entering the store there was a minimum of 10 customers in the space at the time including myself, not one of the them was wearing a face mask even after it became a mandatory bylaw as of July 10th. When I inquired why no one else was wearing a mask, the clerk acted very nonchalant about enforcing the bylaw and made no attempt to advise any of the customers. The lack and disregard for the public’s safety was not a priority for Shell Canada and their staff. When I mentioned the mandatory face mask bylaw to the clerk, he responded along the lines of medical reasons why EVERYONE in the space was not adhering to the bylaw. Therefore, Shell Canada is negligent in training their staff on how to deal with difficult situations (enforcing the BYLAW) and thus putting their customers at a higher risk of contracting COVID19, notably the 5 Great Lakes location. If this is the case that all customers in the store at the time had medical concerns to not wear masks, I would strongly recommend that if you need anything from a gas station, go anywhere else but the the Great Lakes location. This location has the potential to become a COVID-19 hotspot. I strongly suggest that Shell Canada use this incident as a training opportunity to educate and train franchise owners on Health & Safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both staff and customers.

Stay away from the car wash. I went in today and the spray pillars hit my car 4 times on 2 separate washes. Both washes the system shut down mid wash and I was told to go to another location or try again after a few days. Service was terrible and no one seemed to care that their machine hit my car numerous times. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place all together.

The lady at the desk in afternoon shift never listen, everytime she made some mistakes in lottery. She needs to listen the customer first. Esso is far way better never coming to this location again. They need to work on their customer service skills.

I called them today to enquire about something. But the guy who picked up my call answered so rudely. Shell should hire people who knows how to talk with customers.

Avoid filling gas here they charged my car 3 times for one transaction after I showed them proof they told me the money will go back into my account in a couple days I waited a couple days went back to them since I never got the money back and they tell me they can’t do anything about it.

I went in the other night, paid $15 for had with cashier, went to the pump and it was not registered with the pump, so I couldn't get gas. I went back in to get him to send info to pump so I could get the gas. I was told that I put the nozzle back and he would have to refund me and repay. He then told me the money would not be in my bank for a day I had no other money. I told him that I did not have enough gas to get home. He just shrugged his shoulders. I went back to my car and tried to figure out what to do. He then came to my car window and asked me to leave, he said I had been there to long. So I asked if there was someone behind me. He said no. He was the most rude person. I had money when I got there. Not my fault he screwed up and I believe it was intentional.

This guy needs to be fired.

Worst gas station. It used to have cheap gas now it's the costliest. Car wash is broke most of the times. And worst customer experience

A vino Singh lied and pretended to swipe airmiles tonight on me and a few other customers when confronted he said points don't show on receipts anymore, people are not dumb buddy I checked my app just to confirm you are a lazy liar and this is unacceptable.

Prices on par with other stations in the area, the car wash is touch less and the cycle time is about the same as the great lakes location.
